Terrific Product & Customer Service

I received my order on time however the block was slightly damaged in shipping, I believe. One of the knife "grooves" was narrowed because the side piece was crooked. Still usable though...and I went about installing it into one of our kitchen drawers. A few days later I left a review for Shenzhen Knives, noting the slight damage on arrival. Within hours I received an e-mail back apologizing for the quality of the received product, and that they would be sending another in its place. I didn't ask for this at all - my review was 4 stars and positive - but greatly appreciated their going above and beyond to make me happy and satisfied, and to stand behind the quality of their product too. So at no cost to me the new block arrived last week as promised. And it's in perfect condition too! Thank you, Shenzhen, for our positive interaction on this order. Perfect for extremely small spaces.

I have extremely small kitchen drawers and little counter space. I really didn't have a safe place to keep my cooking knives and hated for them to just lay out on the counter. One day I was just looking for kitchen organization ideas when I came upon this knife block. The reviews were promising and the price was within my budget so I took a chance from just a picture. It's perfect! Now my knives are in a safe place and I don't have to worry about anything happening. Highly recommend this item.

This in-drawer block is sturdy, well designed and attractive

This in-drawer block is sturdy, well designed and attractive. It does exactly what I needed it to do: it increases the overall capacity of the drawer. The knife block holds our every-day steak knives on one level, standard kitchen knives beneath. And all this in the same drawer as our elderly divider-rack that holds a bunch of tools. If the initial washing is anything to go by, I am expecting it to clean up better than those deep-hole dirt-traps in the counter-top standing block. A good buy.

Beautiful knife block, keeps everything organized

I never thought I could love a knife block so much, but I really love this knife block. We don't keep it in the drawer because our drawer is smaller than normal, but the block still looks really nice on the counter. It can fit a lot--and I mean a LOT--of knives. My favorite thing is that it can hold our huge meat cleaver, which is a plus. Normally I have no idea where to stick that thing! The knife block is very sturdy and smooth and the curved design is not only a functional benefit by allowing more knives to fit in the block, but also aesthetically pleasing. I definitely recommend this knife block to anyone looking to keep their knives organized. We currently have four steak knives, a chef's knife, and the cleaver, but the slots can fit a greater assortment of knives as well.

This in-drawer knife block could possibly the best purchase I have ever made on Amazon! My wife and I were frequently cutting ourselves on sharp knives lying in the drawer. The Shenzhen knife block stores a large set of knives safely and attractively. The block is well designed and looks as if it were built into the drawer. It's just perfect!

De-cluttering my countertop

So far, so good after about 2weeks. An innovative an efficient was to store a lot of knives in a small space. I bought this to move my knife block full of knives off my counter and into a drawer. My 1985-vintage set of Chicago Cutlery wood-handled knives fit into this drawer block quite well. Because this block has more slots than my countertop block, I was able to add in my tomato knife and my bagel knife (neither of which are CC). They all play nicely together in the block. If I were to make a suggestion for a better product, it would be to make modular additions/extensions possible to the basic block. For example, the block is 5.5 inches wide. My drawer actually has apace for a 7 inch wide block. It would be cool to be able to purchase and assemble (add to the basic block) a couple of extra knife slots. Later if I bought more knives, purchase and add yet another extension.

Great space saver!

Fits perfectly into my drawer along side the silverware organizer. Holds all of my knives including an 8" chefs knife and a 10" bread knife. Smaller slots are great for steak knifes and paring knives. Keeps my counter space free but allows safe storage of my knives. I make sure to thoroughly dry my knives before adding them back in, since while it says it's resistant to bacteria, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Better alternative to countertop knife block.

I bought 2 of these knife blocks to be able to put all of my knives in a drawer next to the stove. When they arrived I realized that I could fit one more so I now have three and this will accommodate all of the knives I have. Great product!! Very solid construction. I am very pleased with this product.

It really does work!

This is a simply beautiful design. While I was searching for knife storage I couldn't quite see how it would work from the pictures, but it got such great reviews and was on sale so I decided to give it a try. It holds 11-12 of my knives of all shapes and sizes from small paring knife to long serated bread knife. It's really an ingenious sleek design. Now I don't have to worry about rooting around in the drawer w/ all the exposed blades to find what I'm looking for. Really fantastic. Thanks for a product that works and is truly beautiful in its simplicity.
