I thought I had reviewed this a very long time ago when I first started using them. They're better than I anticipated. It only takes one that I put in the bottom of the washer (I think they might get stuck in the door's holder contraption) and they work perfectly well in all washer and dry settings on my machine. However, I do get anything that looks really challenging off my pots and dishes before I load the washer.

I bought these Finish Dishwasher Tabs (8X, All In 1, Fresh Scent) via Subscribe and Save. After the added savings, averaging 11 cents each, makes for an excellent value on the box of 90. I used to work for an appliance retailer where we recommended and often used Finish dish tabs. The best cleaning (but more expensive) are made by Miele and aren't sold in most grocery stores. Finish tabs are the next best thing. The red center is rinse aid which helps dishes dry better (especially necessary and helpful if you have a dishwasher with a stainless steel tub). Each of the layers dissolve at different times during the wash cycles and help get everything clean. If you find your glasses covered with white spots, it's not the detergent's fault (well, not exactly). Newer dishwashers clean better so the trick is that you need to leave some of the sauces on your dishes. Scrape off the hard foods but leave on the ketchup, gravy, etc... Reason being, the soap needs something to do. If you pre-rinse everything (like in the old days when dishwashers didn't clean as well), the soap has nothing to do and you'll end up with soap residue on your glassware and silverware. Stop pre-rinsing for cleaner dishes- really. Another tip, if you're washing a light load that's not super dirty... We cut these tabs in half and they clean just as well. Kitchen shears cut them but usually one half falls apart. I throw the broken pieces into the dishwasher (works just as well) and use the second half next load. We only use full tabs when we have a heavy load that needs more detergent. You can see what works best with your appliance. If your dishwasher was built in the last 20 years or so, all of the above probably applies to you. Some of the more inexpensive models (often in apartments) don't have built-in hot water heaters. You can try running your sink water until hot, just before starting the dishwasher and that'll help it get up to temperature faster and cleaning better. Recommended. Smile. Hope this is helpful!

Like the Mega pack - can't find them locally. These are great quality. I like that each pack is individually wrapped. Others are not individually wrapped and they get moist and stick together - ugh. These are nice and do a great job of getting my dishes clean

This dishwashing detergent seems to do the trick. I'll be honest, I've never had a dishwasher before, and these were recommended by my daughter. I bought the individually wrapped power balls. They clean great. The only thing I'd like better is if they weren't individually wrapped to create less waste.

No complaints. I haven't seen any residue on my plates since switching, especially plastic cups/plates for the kids. The All-In-One tablets are designed to be put in the bottom of your dishwasher from the start, not in the door that opens mid-way through the wash. Only 1 tablet is needed for a single load, so I also don't have to worry about a pre-wash.

My wife always bought cheaper detergent, these were to expensive for her. After I ran several loads through (using these and the Finish brand jet dry and 1 tab per load) she mentioned the glasses were looking a lot more clear. I figured out the big $20 box is about the same amount of wages as her cheap detergent because she had to fill both doors full. She's a believer now. Definitely recommend these.

We have tried many different "dishwashing" detergents, both liquid and solid. it seems we constantly go back to the Finish all in 1 power ball. We never have any etching or residue left on the glasses, and it seems to always leave our dishes very clean with no residue left on them. I fully recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a simple and easy dish washing detergent.

Finish dishwasher detergent saved us from having to purchase a new dishwasher. We had been using Cascade liquid detergent for years and the dishes just were not getting clean anymore. Shopping around for a dishwasher I saw ads for Finish. I decided it was worth the try and I was very pleased to see CLEAN dishes after the first wash with Finish.

Finish is my favorite dish washing detergent and the one recommended by most manufacturers. It works better than powdered or gel detergents and is sold on Amazon for an unbeatable price.
