excellent hothouse against critters
this was easy to set up and it works great against birds, chipmunks and squirrels .I usually get this chipmunk that eats my grape tomatoes and leaves the skins behind. Crows that peck my seedlings and strawberries. Squirrels digging in my pots to bury acorns.I placed this on my deck this year and it worked well. I had to tape the plastic , to the poles in a few areas because on a windy day it would blow off and tied the entire structure with shoelaces to the deck as it is very lightweight. Plastic was sturdy, had 1 small tear and just taped it up.

This is a great little greenhouse for the patio
This is a great little greenhouse for the patio. Have built a 2x4 frame to go along the bottom and a piece of sun screen material to go along the top to cover when roof opening is left open, to keep quail from getting to curious.(they love tomatoes). had a new duffle bag to put everything away in the fall. this has a good design and much less wind problems than taller models. looking forward to some great veggies if we ever have a spring??

great product! keeps garden bed warm and moist
great product! keeps garden bed warm and moist. everything grows much faster and healthier within it. it's easy to move around, easy to open for watering, and the transparent cover allows you to see everything inside clearly. Loved it! Much to my dismay someone else in my community garden also loved it so much so that they stole it from me. Thinking about getting another one though the cost is a bit high.

Perfect for my little garden
Very nice mini-greenhouses! They look cute in the garden where i started some spring greens early. I did stake them down by placing the wood stakes on the inside of the structure. This keeps the wind from blowing them away.

Performed well with snow and supplemental heat
Used it to protect tender potted plants (geraniums, herbs, lavender) from subfreezing temperatures and snow. I placed two of them at the S side of house on gravel; set the frames up and zip-tied one string of 100 outdoor-quality old-style (not LED) lights inside each frame as a heat source, then filled the footprint with well-watered potted plants and placed the covers on. I used a timer to control the lights, leaving them on constantly while temps were subfreezing night and day and then programming for night only as days warmed consistently. The cloches performed perfectly, holding up without sagging to 8" mixed snow (I brushed it off carefully) and then about 2" of wet snow. The lights kept the temperature above freezing inside. I would not expect these to do well in deep snow, but under the eaves sheltered from wind they did perfectly without needing to be anchored. Plants are all showing new growth now, some flowering!

Did its job through the snowstorm, but expect more tears and patches
My various seedlings and transplanted leeks survived a 3-day snowstorm in the mid-20s F and two feet of snow on my balcony in this mini-greenhouse. It apparently created a protective snow cave for them. I placed a bucket of water in the mini-greenhouse with the plants to stabilize the temperature and add humidity. The bucket was still full of water -- no ice -- when I shoveled through the two feet of snow to dig out the greenhouse afterwards. The mini-greenhouse suffered four tears of about 3-4 inches each under the weight of that snow, which I quickly patched with some clear packing tape.

These little cold-frames are wonderful! My vegetable garden got a healthy head start ...
These little cold-frames are wonderful! My vegetable garden got a healthy head start during the off and on light snow this spring. They are easy to put together and to take apart for storage. When first assembling the mini-greenhouse, I would suggest letting the plastic get nice and warm in a sunny spot. This allows the plastic to better stretch over the frame. In addition, I used a few pieces of duct tape to keep the plastic attached to the frame. In order to keep the greenhouse from blowing up and away during our really strong winds, I also used heavy duty tent pegs on all 4 sides. No problems at all.

In the pictures it looks bigger. I was worried about that when I ordered it. But neverthless it's a cute little greenhouse and keeps in the heat well. Then again I live in Florida. It's cheap plastic and thin metal and plastic wrap. The zippers were all screwed up but it's a easy fix. Gonna order another one to put on the other end. It's rectangle shape. Decent height. I use this for my tomatoes. **** edit**** After a minor issue with the zipper the service team contacted me and is resenting me a new cover. Was very courteous and handled it professionally. I was fine with the zipper being kind of broken but they insisted on sending a new one for me. Excellent service.***

I would highly recommend this greenhouse and if I need another one down ...
This greenhouse is grate for my seed starting needs. I chose this particular model due to the low profile. I live in a very windy area and didn't think the taller greenhouses would last long. It did well with the high winds we get here. It did not do well in the nor easter that came through with 55+ mph winds. (My fault, I should have taken it in.) The poles didn't bend and the plastic survived, but the Joint pieces broke. I contacted the company and they were quick to respond and replace the parts I needed. I would highly recommend this greenhouse and if I need another one down the road I will purchase from this company again.

Actually works well!
Some things to keep in mind, secure the cover to the frame with the built in ties, stake the frame to the ground. Wind will play havoc if you don't. Other than that we have now been through several ~20 degree F days, during the night we cover it with a comforter, and stake that down with a Tarp. We remove the tarp during the day, and if warm enough open the flaps. Plants are healthy despite the cold. They sweat up the greenhouse nicely during the day. I would recommend this item. Warning though, it is only 3 ft. in height, won't work for your taller plants. Oh yea, and we insulated the ground from the plants with some packing foam.
