I don’t post many reviews. With that being said, I must say my experience with this product has been a wonderful surprise. I have had acupuncture therapy in the past so I am familiar with the principles of it. This handy little pen has worked on a chronic hand pain I’ve been suffering with and I’m starting to use it on other areas. This is the 2nd one I’ve ordered and I haven’t had any issues with the battery compartment. It does take 1 AA battery. I’d suggest using the contact gel. It will take away any stinging sensation. The only problem I’ve encountered is with the contact gel getting down into the electrode contact. To stop this from causing problems, I unscrew it and soak in hot water for a few minutes and then let it air dry before screwing back onto tip. Great product and if you suffer from pain, this could be an alternative.

Need to know the acupoints

Excellent product. At first, I didn’t find it useful as I didn’t feel anything. Until I found out that the pen needs to touch the acupoints to make it work. Once the pen touches the acupoints, it seems like someone doing massage on me. What a wondeful product! Now I use it everyday.

Bodybuilder’s best friend + headache relief

I do heavy weight training and use this silver bullet to speed up healing and also treat minor lifting injuries like knots in my muscles. My husband uses this on his neck and shoulders to relieve tension headaches. He hasn’t gotten another tension headach since using this a couple times/week. I do 10 minute sessions on power level 9, which is the highest level. The pen can be uncomfortable to hold while in use because the person holding it is the grounding element and receives a shock. To lessen the discomfort, my advice is to hold it in a fist instead of with fingertips. I can’t hold the pen with my right hand because I have a metal plate in my wrist. Very uncomfortable. Well worth the $15.

Wonderful Device X2

Many years ago a local Acupuncture and Acupressure Dr. used a device on me much similar although his was larger and required an Electrical source, Time have changed, This little Gem is wonderful. It does find the meridian point ( you will know on say 2 when you hit one ) and you will get a shock in the user hand as this device uses you body as a ground so just adjust your grip and the pain in the holding hand should stop. UPDATE 4-16-2015 Now I own 2 of these and it is in my opinion the best 15.00 you will spend. This device will cure the hurts, It does not do it like magic but it makes those points take notice that there is a New Sheriff in Town and he ain't playing. This type of device has been around a long time and I am glad to see it in a smaller manageable style.

I really like this little gadget

I really like this little gadget. A lady I work with was having shoulder problems so I took one to her to try out. Another person saw it and said it is very similar to the gadget her chiropractor uses. My daughter-in-law tried mine on her leg where it was painful and she was so pleased that I ended up leaving it with her. I have given away two, so I need to order more. For something so inexpensive, it is great. The power level goes up to a "9" but I absolutely cannot stand it any higher than a "4" and I have a fairly strong tolerance for pain. In my opinion, this little pen magnet can't be beat.

Shock and Awe

Easy to use. The people who posted negative things about the ability to put the battery in must be mechanically challenged. It does take some maneuvering of the spring in the cap to make sure it's collapsing in the middle and not off to the side, but it just takes a little patience to make sure it's situated correctly. I used it with a YouTube video giving directions on how to use it for the Vagus Nerve and it removed my headache immediately.

This is exactly as described and works well, but reading the instructions, it says not to use it if you have a pacemaker...which I do. For people complaining of shock at hand or feeling nothing YOU ARE NOT MAKING GOOD GROUND with your hand. apply small amount of gel to fingers and WHEN you make a good ground the shock or tingle will stop.You have to actively search for meridian point. Charts can get you close to general area then simply move around til you find the spot. Anywhere from tingle to moderate muscle twitch or spasm. Gel tends to build up in hole of spherical tip overtime. Cleaning with pin, q-tips, etc brought it back like NEW. Play around with it, you will be surprised.

Very impressed and surprised at how this small device eliminates painful joints and wrist soreness, definitely would recommend for anyone
