I've used Miracle Gro on my houseplants for many years now with geat success. I switched to the Miracle-Gro Shake'n Feed after getting granite countertops, and was told the liquid could damage them if it spilled or dripped on the granite. The Shake 'n Feed granules work great, and are actually much easier to use than mixing the powder in water and having to apply it each time I water the plants, and last for several months before reapplying. Great purchase, thank-you!

Great Product

I use this Shake n Feed all around my flower beds. Living in S.W. Florida we have year round growing seasons here and this product has given me beautiful flowers.

Perfect for flowers and veggies

We used this refill bag with the Shake n' Feed dispenser (purchased separately) and it helps provide the simplest and best flower garden and vegetable garden fertilizer on the market. Miracle-Gro has been our choice of products for many years, and this advancement in applying the granules is a nice enhancement. It is early in the growing season, but our flowers, tomatoes, lettuce, peppers, etc. all look strong and healthy. Highly recommended

My plants are happy

Hard to tell as I only have a few plants. But I sprinkled this puppy on, and my plants are doing great. I dont know if its just because they are happy plants with the sun and water. Or this really is what did it. Either way, I am very happy with how my patio of potted plants looks. (big and small plants). The top of the bottle is pretty genius also. the little balls of miracle-go, pour down the cap which has a deign in it to spread the balls out, so they dont all end up in one spot. If you ever watch the show "Price is Right" it reminds me of the game Plinko.

Easy to use and works!

I sprinkled this Miracle-Gro on EVERYTHING growing in my garden... then a few days later... BAH-BLAM! FLOWERS POPPING OUT EVERYWHERE! Seriously, this is good stuff and you can find it locally. I'm happy with the results and will continue using this fertilizer.

They really oughta come up with a better shaker top

This is ten bucks or more routinely retail, I paid that with free shipping and got the same product I expect. They really oughta come up with a better shaker top, though. I have some ideas if they are at a loss. The product works well, but I find myself just pouring some in my hand and sprinkling it that way.

Plant food that's never failed!

I got this fertilizer to use on my tomato and pepper plants, all of which are in containers, not the ground. (Pot sizes range from 3 to 20 gallons.) This product doesn't need mixing with water before application, so it's easy to apply whenever plants need a boost. I just toss a small handful in per pot and work it into the soil a little bit. One downside is the somewhat unpleasant odor upon opening the bag, but it shouldn't be a problem if used outdoors. The nutrient profile of the food is 12-4-8. If you're growing for fruit or veggies, be careful with this fertilizer. Due to the higher nitrogen level, if you apply too much on a regular basis, you'll have lots of foliage but very little food. This is fine early on, however, when you want to focus on leaf and root growth. Once my plants began setting fruit, I primarily switched to fertilizer with lower nitrogen and higher phosphorus/potassium so plants could focus on fruit production. (Used another Miracle-Gro product for this, it was their water-soluble tomato food.) This has worked well and by early May, my plants were loaded with fruit. If the plants start turning yellow or pale green and it's obvious they need a nitrogen boost, I do give them a bit of this. The package says one application feeds for 3 months. If you grow in containers like me, you might want to apply every few weeks instead - some of the nutrients will wash out when you water. Even so, the 8 pound bag will likely last me two seasons or longer. Compared to the price of other plant foods, it's a bargain.

Absolutely beautiful and healthy plants.

I have been using Miracle-Grow Shake 'N feed since spring. All of my plants, both inside, and on my patio, of all varieties including tomato and vegetable plants I have grown in pots have thrived and are healthy and luscious. I receive many compliments on my patio (porch) plants. People come by and look and admire them. I would highly recommend this product and will keep on using the same.

Miracle Gro in 8 lb bags

Buying this in 8 pound bags is so much less expensive that getting smaller quantities you get in the 4.5 lb plastic jugs. The product works well with all my gardens. Check the price difference....you will be shocked as to how much you pay for the plastic jugs. I just keep refilling my one miracle gro jug.

It is a miracle

Love it. Used it only once and my Hydrogenia got so big and beautiful with 16 flower heads on it! All my other plants love this too. Thank you miracle grow!
