Fine for a noob

Well I'm a noob when it comes to baking, however the few times I have used these strainers I have had zero problems with them. I read comments about the mesh not being deep enough but they are fine to me, then again I use them at home and I do not bake big portions. Aside from that the mesh is fine and it is the same mesh in the whole set, they don't look cheaply made as well.

Very Useful!

It's nice having three sizes....though I wasn't sure if I'd really use them all. They arrived in damaged and have been very useful for anything from straining my loose tea and boiled pasta to sifting flour or confectioners sugar.

Great set of multi-purpose strainers

I mainly needed a strainer for my raw juices since my Breville tends to leave about a half cup of fruit/vegetable fiber in my four cups of finished juice. I honestly wanted something stainless steel, fine mesh, and made in the USA, but I couldn't find anything to fit that last requirement since apparently affordable stainless steel products are hard to manufacture in the US (go figure.) Although I would mainly be using it for my raw juice, I also wanted to be able to rinse quinoa as well as strain my tinctures and infusions. I found this set and it seemed like the best value and quality. The strainers are well made, no sharp edges, flimsy mesh, or loose seams so I don't think there will be any rust issues. It was designed in the USA, but manufactured in China - supposedly under strict quality control and after seeing the construction firsthand I'm actually inclined to believe it. I've already used them and clean up was fast and easy. They did an amazing job of straining my green juice and Ceylon cinnamon tincture. The smallest can be used for loose leaf teas or straining into regular mouth canning jars. The medium is great for wide mouth jars, and the large is the go to for rinsing rice or quinoa or pouring into the Ball 1 gallon "decorative" jar that I use to mix all my raw juice with coconut water. Overall, I am surprised how much I really love this strainer set. I've already gotten a lot of use out of them and look forward to much more over the coming months, heck years.

Good product

These are decent strainers. The mesh isn't as fine as I had hoped but will work, it is the standard wire mesh. They have held up very well to the dishwasher with no signs of rusting or discoloration.

Quinoa Strainer!

I wanted a fine mesh strainer so that I could wash Quinoa. This was just what I needed. I have used them for just that purpose and for dusting cakes, and such with cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Nicely put together and strong.

Great quality and price

I needed these for kombucha to strain the little remnants of scoby and any other fruit particles. Pros Great quality Great price- there were three different sizes and it was only a few dollar more than one from IKEA Dishwasher safe Versatile- I use for baking, baby food, kombucha, pasta Cons Three different things to hold on to, I wish it was one that could be expanded to different sizes

Strains spices perfectly

I make a turmeric drink called Kings Milk (also called golden milk, turmeric milk and Indian milk) where I boil coconut milk with turmeric, cardamom, ginger, mace, clove, allspice, lots of cinnamon,vanilla and honey. Needless to say that's a lot of spice in 1 1/2 cups coconut milk. I prefer my hot beverages to not have the consistency of sludge. I was dubious but other users told me it should work fine. I took a shot and I am so happy I did. I strain the prepared milk and it catches nearly all the undissolved spice. If I run it through again, there is none left. The milk flows through great but the spice is gone. Thanks Ipow, for making my King's Milk sludge free!

Fresh drinks and perfectly sifted flour

These are great for sifting small amounts of flour or larger amounts of flour! I've used mine for drinks teas and pasta but beware, if you're cooking up an entire standard box of pasta, the larger strainer might be a smidge small. Still an amazing set though! We love ours!
