I bought this to use for my son's bunk bed we built that hangs on the wall. We wanted something sturdy to walk up & down. He is 12 years old & not little. We also wanted something that was removable for when company comes. We didn't want little ones climbing up & down & getting hurt. This ladder is the best option for that. Bith sturdy & practical. Not bulky. Easy to remove & replace when needed. I would buy it again & I would recommend to anyone looking.

Great little ladder but I bought it for an RV. I usually have adults crawling up into my bunk beds to crash out. This ladder has to be made for kids only... in 225 - 230 and it’s scary to get on. I never saw a weight rating for it but I’m definitely pushing it! I can see a whiskey night getting ugly of an adult tries to get to the top bunk late at night.

Converted the over cab entertainment area to a loft bed for my boys. This ladder worked great. It was long and I cut quite a bit off with a saws all and it worked great. Came with the hardware to mount on the bed itself and 2 different sets of hooks. One large pair to hook over a bunk bed rail (I guess) and a smaller pair to use on the provided mounts. I recommend mounting it closer to straight up and down rather than at too steep of an angle. I think it might bend under the stress. My boys are big and it is holding up great.

Ladder was bought for my kids bunk bed. I cut about 3" from the bottom to get the right height. Easy to cut with a hand saw. Also buffed the ends with a dremel. The ladder seems strong enough to hold 160lbs; however, I've seen the ladder slightly lose it's stability closer to a weight of 220lbs. If you're using this ladder and weigh over 200lbs, I would consider a ladder made of wood or steel. If it's for kids, like in my situation, this should suffice.

I bought this ladder for a home-made bunk bed for my daughter. I like the wide padded steps. They don't hurt her feet to climb up and down. It's very lightweight and easy to move around if needed. I thought it was a little pricey for what it is, but there aren't a lot of options for bunk bed ladders. I'm happy with the product though.

had a loft where we had to climb and crawl over the ends. it was painful on the feet and the shins. i wanted something that we could attach to the side opening. i had to screw a bracket or two to secure it but it fit perfect and with the correct height to give the ladder an angle to make the climb easier.

Bought this for my tender footed daughter in order to more comfortably access her loft bed. She (and I!) are much happier. Sturdy, comfortable on bare feet, happy we found a solution.

My sons loft bed has the ladder built into the frame. It was uncomfortable on the feet and a little awkward. This replacement is great. Much safer and easier for my little guy.

Purchased for easier access to the top bunk in our travel trailer. Had to cut off about 6 inches which the instructions tell you how to do. Very easy with a hack saw. Sturdy enough for our kids to use and when not in use we just lay it on the bed out if the way.

I recommend to measure the distance from the floor to the wood in a slight angle. I ordered long with the idea of cutting it shorter if needed, which I did. The first step is lower, which brought the top step down with that in mind just about to get use too.
