Bought this for our car ride for our recent vacation road trip. Our kids were able to watch shows and videos where they could both see the iPad and without having to do all sorts of crazy improvisation to make that work. It's incredibly easy to adjust, can be loosened and turned around so that a front passenger can work with the iPad or tablet and turn it back around without having to take it out of the holder. It holds our iPad solidly in place and doesn't rattle around or make noise while we're driving. Perfect solution for us!

very nice and stylish mount for the iPad, additional one thing to know that if you have the other mounts such as the smart phones mounts from the same brand, you will be able to use it with this stand, just simply unplug or lach the holder from its stand and put it to other stand now, currently I installed in my vehicle 2 phone mount in the cup holder which is in the flore and 2 head rest stand for the second row passengers and I can change and replace the mount for the smart phone by the iPad or opposite another thing you need to take care about is the center holder which let you install your iPad or tablet at the center, if you leave it blank your head will hit it once you want to move your head in the front passenger and driver another last note that if your vehicle is not have this much space I don't recommend you to buy it because the tablet is being mor away from the head rest and everytime you enter the vehicle your head will hit it at least if you can add the adjustments of the space between the head rest and the tablet holder it will be very superior product but at this time the product is very good and once again, if you let the center holder to be removed optionally if we don't require it, it will be some of the special features.

We purchased this so my kids could play their Nintendo Switch while on long car trips. It works perfectly. I'm not sure how it would do with a heavier tablet, as the Switch is very lightweight.

We recently completed a 2,500 mile car trip our 5-year and 2-year olds in the back of our Prius. The drive went very well in no small part to the ability to play downloaded movies on an iPad that neither child had to hold (or had the opportunity to mess with) during the drive. The holder did its job exactly as described. It has an adjustable arm length, the ability to "open" wider to insert and then grab an iPad, and the ability to rotate up or down. The last feature is helpful during the beginning and end of the day when glare can be a problem. I feel that the grip on the headrest loosened during the trip but its difficult to complain since the clamps needed to hold in place during 2500 miles of bouncing, jostling, and vibration. I re-tightened the grips on the headrest at least twice during a 10 day trip but that is a minor inconvenience compared to fixing an iPad a child is holding while driving. All told it was money well spent. If you do not have a portable (or installed) DVD player in your car and are going on a long car trip this is a great idea.

We just bought a new car but opted to NOT get the built in entertainment since we use ipads for kid entertainment. I had been letting each toddler hold their own ipad (not their own....mine and my husbands!) on long road trips but that caused problems. SO I purchased this contraption! It's AMAZING, easy to install, easy to get ipads in and out of it. PERFECT for two toddlers to watch a movie on long road trips without fighting or whining.

This has been super helpful when only having one tablet but two kids in the backseat. Can put it right in the middle of them.

We all love those magical car trips. Traffic is awful, people driving like dimwits, the kids asking if we’re there yet every mile-and-a-half, to which you finally reply “Yes! Get out!” mostly as a joke, but secretly there’s that tiny part of you that hopes they’ll do it. We got those nifty portable DVD players that attach to the headrest to try to combat this, but after a disappointingly small number of uses, they would begin to fail, adding “daaaaaaaaad it’s not working!” as a lovely refrain to “are we there yet?” Then there’s the fun of having to load the things, or the DVD getting scratched, and blah blah blah. Finally I had had enough. Something had to give or I was going to turn into Michael Douglas’s character in “Falling Down.” I decided to try downloading some movies to the iPad to watch. By dumb luck (which is how I make most good decisions), I stumbled onto this on amazon. It works great! I just use the amazon app, download movies that I own, run the sound through my car stereo, and it works fantastic. The kids are happy, I’m happy. Heck, even my wife is happy. If you ever go anywhere with your family that takes a few hours to get to and you want to get there without having to talk yourself out of driving your car off a bridge, get this and do what I did. You won’t be sorry.

I was originally worried that the mount would shake around too much for the kiddos to watch it. But this thing will do great for all Current tablets. I have three tablets I have used in this...an Asus TF201, Asus TF700 and the Nexus 9. They all fit with the gumdrop tech cases that I have on all of these tablets. BUT the Asus tablets being older but mainly heavier makes it shake more than I would like. Its not horrible but it does move around on the bumpy roads. The Nexus 9 is perfect size and weight for this mount. Advice: Have the spring load side on the bottom because you will need to to adjust the other side all the way in to PUT pressure on the spring load. If you don't do this and hit a big bump the tablet will put load on the spring and cause the other side to pop out and the tablet, now with a strong spring load, shoots out in a wild manner. It didn't matter how you oriented it, spring on top or the bottom. But doing as I suggest will prevent this from happening.

We bought two of these for my car. One we used in the very back to hold an iPad Mini during a very long road trip. It's held up so far. In fact I'm surprised, but my 6 year old daughter wasn't rough enough to destroy it. The other one we used on the back of the front seats and used it to hold a Nintendo Switch. Both held up admirably. I must admit, they feel a little cheap. There are spots on these that have the potential to be "weakest links" where they could break because thy are reliant on plastic, but so far so good, and we've had these since June and it's now September.

I bought this due to a four hour drive I have to make through the desert for work. This provided me with a way to watch some downloaded Netflix or Amazon shows with some Bluetooth headphones. The setup gives you multiple options and is easily adjustable to meet any needs. I have an 8" Samsung tablet which this accommodates nicely. This will also work out for my kids Samsung 7" tablets as opposed to the DVD player setup in my SUV. This will allow me to center the tablet so they can both equally enjoy movies in the car. I stopped buying DVD's a long time ago so the movies were not getting any newer. This is cheaper than one DVD movie so it is easily justified.
