This is GREAT! I was skeptical at first due to the low price but once I got it I was very impressed. First - Assembly is a breeze with only a cross head screw driver required. Second - Solid base makes for a stable stand Third - the arm is stiff (not sure if anyone would complain) but it needs to be stiff so that there is no chance of movement. and it hold it in place exactly as you want. the clips hold my older Ipad well. Makes it easy to use/read without holding the device constantly. I could even lay or sit and just read the I pad. Great product - great price.

First let me start with if you are in the fence about buying this JUST BUY IT NOW! I have arthritis and other health issues that can leave me laying down a lot or up during the night having trouble sleeping. Before this stand I had to strategically place my iPad between my knees and keep my legs bent or prop it on a pillow. This is perfect for on the couch, in the bed. Standing in the kitchen using it for music or recipes. I am always afraid of knocking it off the cabinet or into the sink or getting food on it. NO more worries. Also this is fantastic for doing vlogs, face time, today I used it in one of my face book groups about the love of flat cloth diapers, I demonstrated some things about a diaper and did not need to move a tripod because I needed more room one minute and move it closer the next. This is built well so far. I use it daily. The only thing that would be amazing is if they made accessories like a clamp on keyboard tray.

Ipad pro friendly

This CTA gooseneck Holds my large ipad pro. Its strong and not tippy and does not sag. Its easy to carry the whole shoot-shebang from room to room. The sturdy feet are flat enough that there is no danger of accidently stubbing a toe on them. Had to remove my case to make it fit. Only 1 thing is very annoying and i dislike immensely that when my ipad is in landscape mode it cant tip up and down but only side to side. Its a desighn flaw built into the stand. Absolutely love it!

I absolutely love LOVE this stand! I use it for my iPad Air - and it's absolutely perfect. (the top of the stand is easily adjustable and probably works for computers as well, but i only tried for iPad so far). No more back aches or stiff necks for watching movies in bed, this is a brilliant product, and clearly made of durable, solid materials. I get to watch on my iPad while in bed either laying on my back or on my side, it works just fine for both. The height easily adjusts and the gooseneck allows for just about any angle. I just got it a few days ago, but it's parked near my bed where it'll be staying for a long time. My husband jokes that it looks like i have an IV stand near my bed - and i love it!

Love It!

I ordered this for my son who has CP. He has a hard time holding his Ipad and working the buttons. We have tried different trays and propping measures, but he eventually ends up hunched over, and frequently has backaches at the end of the day. This is a Godsend. It is adjustable for his hospital bed, has a long enough neck that it extends to the front of him, and stays in place while he plays Zynga or chats on Facebook. It is going to greatly improve his quality of life. I am considering getting one for myself as well. Thank you CTA. No suggestions for improvement. It is durable and works great!

Perfect

I had originally bought this to hold my ipad in my homemade photobooth for my wedding. I was worried it wouldn't bend down to a 90 degree angle for taking photos. But it does! It adjusts up and down, then the neck bends it all directions. You can literally pull the bar up all the way, then bend the neck so the iPads facing downwards and use it as a sort of "ceiling tv" in bed to watch netflix. It's pretty awesome! My husband uses it for his guitar sheet music on his ipad and stands in front of it playing his guitar. There are so many uses!

Pretty much perfect

First off I was a little wary of buying this after seeing some reviews by people who didn’t get what was pictured but bought it anyway and got exactly what was in the pictures. In case it helps future buyers I got the Non-Security Holder (No Wheels) version and purchased from Amazon. I’m guessing the people who had issues were either buying used or from a third party or both, personally I avoid third party sellers, even if it costs more to avoid these situations. Now, on to the review. This works perfectly for my needs and fully extended seems to be around 5’ 6” tall. It easily holds my iPad Pro 10.5 and seems to have enough room for a bigger model. I purchased this primarily to play games with a controller, to watch videos and to use as a teleprompter when I need it and it works perfectly for these activities. It does seem to be a bit wobbly when you use the touch the screen but it’s not too bad.

Ugly yes but helping my neck and shoulders while working

Well it’s no thing of beauty, and the black cross-pieces that form the base arrived already scratched up. But since I got this so I can look straight at my iPad 12.9” v3 (latest out as of this writing)—which this stand holds even in a case using the thinnest of the 3 self-adhesive pads it comes with—it matters little. With the Apple magic keyboard, this stand, and a shoulder harness to force me into better posture I’ll be seeing a lot less of the chiropractor, which is why I invested in these 3 items recently. Too bad they didn’t hire a product designer to make it look as good as its turned out to be for my neck and back.

Solid and goes tall.

This thing is solid and it extends a ton. I was worried it would be tiny but it works on the couch completely collapsed. So it still can go 2 feet taller than I need. Smart design leaves access to iPad plugs.

Exactly as advertised

Update: easily the best purchase I’ve made all year, so flexible, you can have your iPad in any position and in any way, and when u need it in a Different room just carry it and take it with you. Absolutely thr best. Product was exactly as advertised and worked great for my ipad 2017 5th Gen, had to remove the case, but i had expected that before hand thanks to All the reviews. Stable And very sturdy, also can adjust almost to any need. Setup took about 10 min and package arrived very well packed.
