My kids love these! They are a great tool to help kids learn their letters in caps and lowercase. I would recommend them for children as young as 3, and as old as 6, or until they clearly know all letters of the alphabet.

I was going to rate them in the middle, but it is my fault for not reading the shoppers guide more carefully. I was looking for '26' separate characters and not '13' characters with '2' different letters per character. OTHERWISE they are very sturdy along with alphabet learning.

I bought these for my daughter who is 4 to help her continue to work on recognizing letters both uppercase and lower case. They are easy for her to pull apart and put together. The colors are fun to help keep her attention. We also sign an alligator song to help keep her attention better. I also like the fact that the younger children also enjoy the game. They like to make goofy mismatched alligators. Great quality toy and can be used at many different levels!

Nice set for a Pre-k or K class (or even for home use). Come in a nice storage bucket. The alligators are sturdy and coke pre-matched (connected). I can see why the alligator pairs are the same color (for color matching along with letter matching), but for students who are coming along with their letter matching skills it kind of tips them off or reduces the field of choices. Minor change I would make but again, I see the purpose for making them the same color and this is a beginner's set.

Love the toy. My daughter and neice love to play with these. It's one of those toys that they don't even realize they are learning with. At first I was a little disappointed that there are only 13 alligators. Now that we have been playing with it I like that they put a different letter on each side of the alligator. As both kids don't know all their letters yet it makes it easier for matching. They can match the letters they do know and learn the letter on the opposite side at the same time.

I love learning resources products. This one is fantastic as well. My only wish is that each letter had its own alligator apposed to having a letter on each side of the alligator (only 13 alligators). I feel it would be less confusing for younger users. Great for ages 3-5 or as intervention resource for delayed readers.

I love them and so did my 2.5 year old!! Yes, there ARE ONLY 13 alligators total, NOT 26 but in my case it works great, where I want my toddler to recognize and repeat the letters of the alphabet. I have also found it great to learn colors (granted only 5 colors but for a 2.5 yr old, that's appropriate). When lined up in order A-M are on one side of the alligators and when flipped over N-Z on the other side. I've found it to be a great learning tool for less than $13!

Adorable and cute. 13 alligators with 2 capital letters and 2 lowercase letters per alligator.my kid loves them but just wosh we could spell out small words but because of the doubling of the letters we are very limited. Easy to put together and take apart. An excellent tool for easy learning.

I wish each letter had it's own alligator (they are double sided) but my daughter doesn't seem to mind! They were a little stiff at first, she needed help putting them together but they have loosened enough that she can do it herself but still tight enough that they stay together!

My kids ages (22 months , 4 yrs old, and 9 yrs old ) love these alligator. My youngest especially likes to just carry the container, which like the product is very good quality. My oldest shows the little ones how to match up the letters and colors. They also like to just play with them as imaginary play where they are sometimes attacking each others alligators or all friends lining up in ABC order. I was a bit confused when I first got these as I thought it was 1 letter per alligator but there are lowercase and upper case letter on one side and another lower and uppercase letters on another side so it is 13 alligators (really should of read the description). I used these for busy bags.
