Fantastic product; my son never gets tired of using this!
This is so much fun for my four year old. It's super easy to use and works perfectly; you can fit practically anything on the platform for a closer look. The little light is great too. And it can be adjusted for a sharper image, or for those times when the pine cone my son is looking at is bigger than we expected. It's also very sturdy - our new kitten knocked it from the table onto the floor and it survived without a scratch! The quality in general is very satisfying, and I'm a really happy customer. I even purchased the telescope this company offers so my son would have his own when we go to see the solar eclipse on the 21st. I think it's going to make a great back-to-school gift! Or in this case, starting school for the first time gift. Either way, I love this product and love the company, and I'd strongly recommend their products to anyone wanting to introduce their little ones to the wonders of science in a fun, age-appropriate manner!

Very fun for young children!
I ordered this microscope for my 3 children (ages 1-6). They LOVE it! It is easy enough that my 1 year old can use it but interesting enough to keep my 6 year old engaged. My children are always bringing in nature items to look at under the microscope. My son found a cicada shell and brought it in to look at. He was so delighted to discover that there were little hairs on the cicada shell legs! I was very impressed as well! The light gives a little extra help to see detail. We have had it for about 6 months now and it has held up beautifully. I could not be more pleased with my purchase.

Perfect!
My almost 4 year old loves science. We watch the Magic School Bus and he is interested in everything, so a microscope seemed like a perfect Christmas gift. He loves it! The little light turns on and he has looked at all of his stocking stuffers and candies, pens and drawings under this microscope! It's so fun and having 2 lenses feels much easier for a 3 year old to look through.

Excellent starter microscope!!
I bought this for my son at 2 years or so and he LOVED IT! It’s perfect for bugs, butterfly wings, bones, mushrooms...anything really. We loved it so much we bought another one for his kindergarten classroom! I don’t know how to get a new bulb however. We just use it in a sunny window though. The bulb lasted three years!!

Great for young kids
My 4-year-old loves to use this - it's easy to use and allows her to get a closer look at various things she finds outside or even in the house. Great purchase for a young science mind!

Perfect kindergarten microscope
I bought this child's microscope for my nephew's preschool graduation gift. He loves it! After opening it up he had to look at everything from a cookie to a bug. It's the perfect size and skill usage for kids. Great purchase!

So cute for the little kids!
I originally bought this microscope for my 5-year-old son for Christmas. After inspection I realized it was WAY too juvenile for him. You can't view slides with this microscope. I didn't pay close attention while reading the information about this microscope. So I kept this to give to my 2.5-year-old son and I bought another one for my older boy that uses slides. It's PERFECT! Now they both get a microscope that is suitable for their ages. I can not wait for them to open these on Christmas morning!

Perfect gift for curious little minds
I got this for my grandson for Christmas and he loves it. He is three years old and very curious. He loves seeing what things look like up close. My only complaint is that the knob continues to turn making a loud clicking noise when the lens has been moved as far up or down as it will go. I wish the knob would simply stop turning when it reaches the end. My grandson kept turning and turning it thinking it would do something but all it did was make a horribly loud clicking sound.

Buy yourself some quiet time and your kids something that lets them use their brains!
This is perfect for young, budding scientists or archaeologists. My 5-year-old breaks everything and has not broken this yet. It's tough, well-made and the batteries have lasted FOREVER considering how often it's left on overnight in the backyard. It's been rained on, chewed on by our labradors and dragged through the mud (literally). All I do is hose it off and it keeps working. Great product and great price for some peace and quiet in your life. It will keep the kids busy for at least twenty straight minutes, which feels like forever. So happy we bought it!

Awesome kid microscope
This microscope is perfect for early science education. My toddler loves moving the focus up and down, illuminating various household items and seeing them close up. The magnification is not super high-powered, but that feels very appropriate for a young kid. We have looked at toys, leaves, pinecones, seeds, geodes, small rubber balls etc. It's a lot of fun!
