Thank you Rachel! Our little boys (8 months)and the little old men (17 and 15) are enjoying this food. Took a chance on something new and was surprised to see all of them eating it. Ordering my second bag!

I think I've finally found a replacement for Purina Naturals! My kitties get wet food 2xday and kibble all day. For years I've given them Purina Naturals kibble. However it doesn't agree with one of my boys and a handful of times a month he was throwing up the Naturals. I tried a half dozen or so different high quality brands (which gets expensive), to all of which they turned up their noses. I laid down Nutrish (Real Chicken & Brown Rice) and they liked it immediately. It's been a month now and they're still eating it - and no throw up. What I like about Nutrish: * Real chicken - no chicken byproduct. * No artificial flavors or preservatives. * Smaller sized pieces. * Rachel Ray donates proceeds to animal charities.

Update: This did help my cat for about 5 months but now the same issues are back. Also WATCH YOUR SUBSCRIBE & SAVE.... I was buying this at Twenty and eighty eight cents for 3 months and then last month it Jumped to Twenty Seven and change... NOT COOL . My cat is just over 12 and was on the same food for almost 12 years. ( Except one time when my husband bought the blue Sam's club brand instead of the blue Purina bag.) My cat was getting crusty spots, itching and balding spots. I knew it was not any type of mite/ bug. I figured it must be food allergy--- maybe Cat Chow changed the formula or is using more gmo's .. whatever I knew I needed to try something different. So I looked up reviews.... And eventually decided to try this brand. It is more than double the cost of my previous brand but I was totally ok with that if it meant my cat got better. So we went for it. Not much improvement but then I discovered my kids were still giving Chunky ( my cat) the old stuff when they were feeding him. So got ride of that and within 2 weeks he wasn't itching. The crusty spots were gone and his hair was growing back. He didn't like the food at first. He kept meowing for his other food. ( I'm sure the taste was much different- he went from cat chow.... To salmon rice- no corn, wheat, or soy). Only issue I have now is my daughter got a kitten( Mew) and she won't stay out of Chunk's food. The Amazon pricing is very similar to store so I have it one an every two month delivery. This may change to every month depending on how much more food Mew sneaks as she gets closer to full grown.

I had been using a product that came highly recommended. It cost me 11 dollars for a seven-pound bag. While not out of line it can get costly with four hungry cats. While there was a snafu with my order I was looking to see if there was something better, for less money. I got to a web site that recommended several brands. This was one of them. The cost was less so I ordered it. I was running out of food and was not sure if my normal order was coming. Both orders came in about the same time. I decided to see if the cats would like this food. If not I would give it to my sister who has many more cats than I do. When I poured it into their bowls it was like we had not fed them in weeks. Normally three cats will go eat, one at a time or just wonder over when they felt like it. This time I had three bodies side by side chomping down. The other cat liked to play games and sort of demand attention before she would eat. This time she ignored me and went straight for the food. I feed them twice a day and they don't start to bother me until a little after their feeding time. Now it is every time I go into the kitchen they are demanding to be fed. The other brand claimed it was better for the cat's health. I have monitored them over the week and if anything they seem more healthy. Their coat is smooth, they are not having trouble processing the food or any problems, other than the hairballs they always have had. Your own problem if you get this food will be the cats demanding they be fed more often, which I don't do but my wife is a softey.

I just ordered this and my cat loves it! I'm so happy because I was hesitant to try a new food on her. She did not get diarrhea, like people say introducing a new food can do. She went right for it the first bowlful. She didn't do that with the Purina Pro Plan she had before. That one made her poop stink! Not so with Rachel Rays Nutrish. I will continue to order this for my kitty. Oh yeah, its a lot less expensive too! Very happy.

My cats act like this is crack! I have one who seems to vibrate while he eats it he is so excited. Inky will sit and stare at the cabinet between meals just waiting for the magical bag to appear.

The ingredient list really shows the quality of this food. We tried the other flavors, but my kitties like this one best. Glad it comes in the little trial bags, too! I also put a little of this kibble in a jar so I can use it for treats. Great size for training! I can have Kitty Kindergarten for an hour and they are still hungry for it, so I don't have to worry about them getting fat while I'm training :) My young kitties gobble it up fast, and my older kitties can take their time. It's easy for them to eat. The older two have some digestive problems, but they have less than they did on the cheap food their previous owner fed them. My vet was happy when I told them what food I was feeding my babies. I've bought this for several years and am very happy with the quality. I find that to get them down to a healthy hourglass-figure weight, I have to feed less than the recommended amount. It's slow going with one of them, but the others are at a good weight now. All four of them have sleek fur, bright eyes, and plenty of energy. I love this food!

We love this cat food. Many many moons ago, when I was a young adult just starting out, I bought the cheapest cat food available because it was all I could afford. I won't name names but "cats called it by name". Anyway, it made them sick all the time. So I found better options through Purina, Friskies, 9 Lives, etc. Years later, and several different cats later, we started having issues with those "better" brands too. Diarrhea, blood in the stool, vomiting, etc. On a whim, I decided to try a diet change before forking over $800 for my vet to check both cats. I love Rachael Ray and anyone who knows her knows that she is dedicated to feeding her dogs (and other people's pets) only the best. Quoting from my bag, this cat food has no ground corn, wheat, or soy, no poultry by-product meal or fillers, and no artificial preservatives or flavors. The fact that it is made in American Facilities is a very nice bonus. So how does it work? Amazingly. Within one week, all of my cats digestive issues were gone! No more diarrhea, no more blood, and no more vomiting. I usually buy it in stores but occasionally purchase it here on Amazon when there is a good sale. Note: Like many people, I rely heavily on Amazon reviews before making almost any purchase, online or in brick-and-mortar stores. I am always honest with my reviews. If I love something, I shout it from the rooftops. And if I hate it, I have no problem telling you that too. If you found this review helpful, please click the button below :-)

I read the nutrition labels on the brands I have tried and most of them list the same ingredients, in the same order of what's inside only it appears in a different bag and brand name (private labeling). This one lists meat as the first ingredient, not corn, not a meat by product, etc. All three cats love this one and the chicken/brown rice recipe. I still supplement with their favorite wet food for breakfast and dinner which is a meat in gravy variety (meat first). I have learned that products with meat on the label have a lot of fillers first, not meat. So read labels, your babies will love you. None of my cats liked the grain free varieties.

My cat ADORES this product. IN fact, she snubs her nose now at anything less. So, I'm hooked on RRays' products for my cat. My cat hates wet food, too, so this is wonderful. There must be something my cat loves about this food that only she could answer, lol. The kibble size is perfect for cats. It's a nice dark color with a very fishy smell that is appealing for my cat. Yep, this is my go-to cat food now. I posted a pic of my cat licking her chops over Rachel Ray's food. lol. and a picture of catching her in the act of breaking into the bag! No joke, she loves this stuff.
