Great for night AND day vision, just wish they had headgear!
These binoculars REALLY surprised me in how good (and easy) they are to use, that, and they can record video and take pictures, too! I'm going to list the pro's and con's to give you an idea, and I'll compare them to what's hot right now: The "SiOnyx Aurora". ATN Bino-X HD Pro's: 1) Clear video 2) Rangefinder 3) Binoculars as opposed to a monocular (two eyes as opposed to one - didn't like closing one eye to look through the viewfinder, then having to have that one eye get used to the dark again every time I took the Aurora away from my eye; was very disconcerting.) 4) Has WiFi 5) Easy to use 6) Compass 7) Zoom function (but of course the closer you get with the zoom, the harder it is for what you have framed, to stay still, If your holding the binoculars and don't have them mounted on a tripod. Oh! that reminds me, 8) 1/4-20 Tripod screw 9) Gyroscope (shows you both your vertical tilt, as well as your right to left tilt.) (best way I could put it) 10) Includes batteries 11) Has different brightness settings for the IR light 12) GPS Cons: 1) Heavy 2) Large (The size of regular binoculars) 3) The batteries it includes are a not very often used kind (C123A) and aren't rechargeable (unless you buy some yourself) 4)Has no known headgear, but has a padded strap, to be hung around your neck 5) GPS doesn't work unless you're outside SiOnyx Aurora Pro's 1) Relatively simple to use, as with the ATN Bino-X, I simply started out using it without reading the directions, and it was easy to figure out. 2) Has 3 Modes, Day, Twilight, and Night 3) Can choose color, monochrome, or green for night vision 4) GPS 5) WiFi 6) Has rechargeable battery 7) Tripod mount on the bottom 8) Smaller form factor and lighter than the ATN Bino-X Cons 1) No known headgear 2) Need at least starlight for this to work well, If you're having a cloudy night, expect to have to use an IR flashlight to see decently. 3) GPS won't work unless you're outside 4) As mentioned earlier, monocular makes me feel disconcerted because eye always has to get re-used to the darkness when removed from eye. 5) No built in IR light Both cameras are great cameras, (albeit a bit expensive) but my preference is binoculars as opposed to the monocular. but that's just my opinion. As a matter of fact, this whole review is my opinion, but I felt sharing it with you would help you make a more informed decision if you're weighing the good and bad between these two night vision scopes. Hope this helped! I'll be posting a video of the two in action soon.

I would recommend these to anyone who wants to better understand their ...
Just got them and was really needing the night vision option and you can't beat the price. I was able to go out at midnight and still see the deer in the field and determine their age and rack size. I would recommend these to anyone who wants to better understand their deer on their property and wants get a upper hand during hunting season.

Exceptional value-Far more than expected!
I had such a good experience with the X Sight that I had to try the BinoX. I could not be happier. The day time color is excellent. Unlike typical binos you do have to focus as you zoom in and out but it is no big deal at all. Just different. Taking pictures and video is quick and easy. When you return from a hunt and someone asks if you saw anything you can show them real pictures or real video footage. Awesome. I was shocked at how well the night vision works. I could easily see the spikes on a spike buck at 150 yards. The areas I hunt provide a max range of 200 yards. The BinoX night vision handle this range beautifully. When I predator hunt at night I scan with the BinoX and reach for the rifle with the X Sight once the predators are spotted. This is a perfect combination. You will be surprised at just how light these BinoX. Much lighter than regular binos. I have shown my BinoX to three fellow hunters and all 3 purchased a BinoX after seeing how they work. All this for an unbelieveable price. Thanks ATN.

Awesome binos!
Outstanding binos. These are my secondary binos for night vision and videoing hunts. I’m liking them more and more and may use them solely. I contacted customer service as I lost the lens cap and Milen was so helpful. Sent me new lens cap free. This is a great bino set. The technology is really impressive and I was surprised by the clarity as under $500 for all the features I wasn’t expecting this level of quality. Thanks ATN!

Love this product
Love this product. Supports the Xsight II scopes and allows recording different perspectives of the hunt while the scope records the shot.

Have only had those for a few days but love how well they work both Day & Night
Have only had those for a few days but love how well they work both Day & Night, worth the money. Now that I've had these since October 2017 and it's now April 2018, I love them, they work as advertised, I have not had any problems with the batteries going dead while the Binox are not in use and have found the batteries cheaper at Walmart, however I purchased 20 re-chargables and small charger on Amazon for under $20, these work perfect, overall I am very pleased with the Binox and would recommend them.

Really lives up to the hype!
After getting my mother a pair of binoculars with a 1.3 MegaPixel camera in the middle, which cost a full 1/4 of the price of these, I can tell you that the ATN Binox HD's are at least ten times as good; and that only accounts for daytime use. When one factors in its capabilities when dark, the Obsidian Core processor, range finder, GPS, Wi-Fi and everything else, there is simply nothing on the market to compare the Binox HD too except for other ATN Obsidian core systems. If you want a sports binoclular that is almost as good in darkness as in day, can capture smooth 1080p video, geotag and do all sort of other awesome stuff, get these. They are worth every penny. I would love to try the thermal set, but it is out of my price range, and I expect it will be for some while. However, I would be willing to pay an extra hundred or so for an auto-focus version of the same product. But auto-focus binoculars do not exactly grow on trees and these are just so darn good as they are, that would just be icing.

ATN BinoX-HD
Wow! This tech is really great and the quality is high; this is NOT a toy. The night vision is phenomenal and the daytime use is great. The price is a real bargain for what you get. I read the user manual 2 times completely and viewed many YouTube video's of this item prior to my purchase. The research and documentation educated me about this device and I knew what to expect. As a result I have thoroughly tested ALL features and everything works as advertised. To properly focus, keep the ocular/IR cover on the front, power up the device, open a menu list and adjust each eyepiece individually to obtain a very crisp view of the menu text per eye. Once this is accomplished, remove the front protective cover and focus the front focus ring for a clear view. At this point it is no longer necessary to touch the adjustment of the two eyepieces. The internal digital viewing screens are much higher resolution than any other product at this price point; thus the HD specification. Using a tripod enhances the viewing clarity. The IR cap with the hole in the middle is perfect for indoor use and reduces the IR beam for rich night vision inside the home. The menu system is highly intuitive. The battery life is not an issue and surprisingly long. Hookup to an external power bank is simple.

Highly recommended item
This is every predator hunters dream. For the price this product functions great. I am very impressed with the range of these binox after dark. If your looking for a scanning tool don't overlook these as a very viable option.
