I LOVE IT

Our oldest (4years old) has two of the Symphony Convertible Car seats (one for each of our vehicles) that he's had since he was an infant. We LOVE them. They aren't the easiest to install or take out but they are the best and I wish they would've came with a cup holder (the newer version does now). Evenflo goes above and beyond in their testing and it's made right here in the US. They are the best of the best without costing you a fortune.So there was no question as to which brand of car seat we'd get our new little one. Our oldest is still using his convertible car seats and I really wanted to buy the baby a car seat that would grow entirely with him until he was out of car seats/boosters. So we decided to go with the All-in-one Symphony Elite and they improved everything that was missing from the Older convertible Symphony. It has two cup holders and with the sure latch system it's a breeze to install. The sure latch system is how all latch systems should be. I read a few reviews on here before I bought it that said something along the lines of that the the car seat still moved more than it should. I'm just curious if this people took the time to read the manual. I placed a rolled towel underneath the seat to make it level (that's a common thing for a lot of different brands of car seats) and then I placed my entire weight on it. It's very secure. I bought this one to go in my husband's truck and was afraid it wouldn't fit in my 2005 Kia Sportage. It is rather large. Well we left town for a few days and I ended up putting it my car for the road trip. It fit like perfectly. There was more than enough room that a person could still sit in the front passenger seat with it all the way back. So I just bought one for my car. I'm brand loyal to Evenflo and recommend it to everyone.

She survived a roll-over crash with only a scratch!

I usually don't write reviews because I prefer expert opinion to peer experiences when it comes to making purchases. But this experience is worth sharing. This summer I hit an abandoned vehicle while taking our 1 1/2 year old daughter to daycare. We went from 55 mph to upside down on a bridge in a matter of feet. We totaled a heavy duty SUV, and she was scared, but completely unscathed. This car seat did what it supposed to when it we needed it. As a guy, I can't tell you how easy it is to clean, or what its "features" are. All I know is that when we needed it to hold our daughter safely, it did. We ordered another one as soon as we replaced the totaled vehicle. If you like the way this product looks, order with confidence. Make sure it's at the right angle, crank it down tight, and keep your eyes on the road!

No More Tantrums!

We LOVE this car seat! We had just recently switched from an infant car seat to this convertible one. My son HATED his old infant car seat and would literally scream for an hour straight on any kind of longer drive. It was to the point that I dreaded going anywhere. I had looked at the Grace 4Ever and was decided on that one, but I decided I’d look for one that would last the same amount of time, but be just a bit less expensive. Well, I did some looking and found this one! It was even just as good as far as ratings go. Definitely a score! So I ordered it. Once it got here, we installed it and took our first test drive. No more tears! It’s so much more comfortable for my son. He fell asleep within minutes of leaving target, even though he cried while being strapped in. I even drove to my hometown 45 minutes away and he only fussed a bit but not much more. I am SO happy with this car seat and can’t wait to go on more road trips as a family!

Love Love Love Love Love it

Love Love Love Love Love it. I have had several Britax, graco, eddie bauer seats and this is by far my favorite carseat. It is a seat that is soooo user friendly and keeps the kids safe. My husband really enjoys these seats too. Normally I am the one that puts in the seat and takes them out to re-adjust and reposition them. The ease and comfort to be able to leave the carseat in the car and adjust the seatbelt height is a miracle design. No more trying to push the seatbelt through the holes in the back, it is easy as pulling up on the straps. When my youngest daughter was transitioning from her infant seat to a convertible seat she had difficulty in other convertible carseats. Our peaceful car rides were miserable until we found this carseat. I was able to position her so she was comfortable and safe while having the ability to adjust the seatbelts and angle without having to take her out. It was beyong amazing! ANNDD to take the seats out and put them in is a push of a button! No more yanking on seatbelts to get them tight enough... Simply click them in, then push down on the seats until the seat is unable to move from side to side and you are done! It tightens it for you!

Peace of Mind

I absolutely love this car seat!!! I originally got this car seat (in teal & gray) after our first accident in 2014. I’ve never had to worry about my sons safety it’s huge but easy to install, and I love that my kiddo has the head support for when he falls asleep, the seat cover removes and I just toss it in the wash as needed. I always joke that it’s like a UFO and that he’s gonna be sitting in it until he’s 16. Recently we were involved in another accident and I purchased the red/white/gray as the replacement. I won’t ever get another car seat, totally worth every penny.

Snug fit, but easy to install and visually appealing.

This product is a lot smaller than our Evenflo carseat that is 4 years old (I could sit comfortably in our older version). My 9 month old looks like she'll outgrow it quickly, which was surprising since it says the product lasts up to 110lbs! But without the infant cushion and with the head rest being able to be extending as your child grows, I can see how it could last until they're about 5-8 as long as they stay skinny. The chair is quite heavy but is very easy to install. I have two, one for my 3 year old boy and one for my 1 year old girl. In the rear facing position, it's a bit harder to get my daughter in than her old infant carseat bucket. It also doesn't recline as much as the infant carseat so when she sleeps her head falls forward. The material seems quite easy to wipe down and hopefully it prevents the kiddos from overheating. It's nicely made and the buckles and endless slide harness are well thought out. Love it!!!

We bought this car seat for our 6 month old son after seeing that he hated his baby trend infant carrier. He would scream every time we put him in it! He loves the Evenflo symphony elite and seems very comfortable in it, he even sleeps in it which is amazing because he would fight sleep in the carrier. My wife loves that it fits perfectly in her small ford focus, there is no threading, shoulder straps are VERY easy to move up and down, keeps our son cool, it is super easy to install and only takes a few minutes and it is awesome knowing we don't have to find another car seat! We even love the color! We only have one complaint and that is that is is hard to carry and it would be nice for it to have a handle on it. But we honestly love this car seat and our son does to! Edited 2016-10-17 2 years later we are still using the same exact seat and my opinion has not changed

VERY easy to use and seems very comfortable

LOVE this carseat. Wish we would have gotten it sooner for our daughter. The only downside is you can't take it out to bring it into the store etc but perfect starting with babies who can sit up and don't need the seat in the store or elsewhere. We are buying a second one for a next child arriving in October! It is so easy to install. With our first carseat I was constantly fighting it to get it in or out of the car but this one gets in or out in seconds with a quick click.

It's like a BMW Car Seat! Luxury & Comfort

Talk about a gorgeous seat! I Was concerned about the light colors but, once I received It I realized it's a leather like material that cleans easily just by wiping. It looks so high end. My husband calls it a BMW lol This seat is BIG. It does everything it says it does. Recline, cup holders, easies installation EVER! Most importantly the protection in this car seat is insane. I LOVE IT! Thank you Evenflo for a product that has everything and MORE than the more expensive brands for a great price. Thank you!!!

Love this seat!

We got this carseat when my daughter was 9 months old and on the verge of outgrowing her infant seat. She is now 2 years old (26 months if we want to be technical) and still rear facing in it! I love that this seat allows us to rear face longer as that's what's safest for her. It's also extremely easy to install with the latch system. Another great feature is how you don't have to rethread the straps to adjust them, you just pull up or down. It's also got a fair amount of padding, so I can be confident that my child is nice and comfortable in her seat. I may invest in this seat for my son as well! The only con I can think of is how big and bulky the seat is. If you have to switch it to a different vehicle it's kind of heavy too, but at least the installation is easy.
