Amazing stuff! I was hesitant to give any topical treatment to my Main Coon because of all the negative publicity regarding flea medicine. I let him out into the back yard every day to let him have fun, but the price I paid is to have him full of fleas. Having watched him scratch literally every few minutes for weeks, I finally gave him the first dose above the back of the neck (not between shoulders). Just as the box said, within a few hours dead fleas fell from him. Within a day, it was "raining dead fleas". It took three days to completely get rig of all fleas! I know because when he sleeps, he's on his back and I can see his white belly through the fur. All I saw is what remained of the dead fleas. Hasn't scratched in days since the treatment. Now I have scheduled a local independent pet groomer to give him a flea bath and afterwards another vial of the flea treatment which should be good for another month. A note regarding fur appearing "wet" for a day or two where you applied the medicine. This is due to the medicine getting the fur wet, and it's tempting to rub it and try to "dry" it, but leave it alone. Within two days the medicine dried and the fur went back to it's normal appearance. For once a product that actually does what it promises.

After using Frontline and Advantage for years, they seemed to lose their effectiveness. We saw fleas on our cats, would treat with these other products, and see no decrease in fleas. So I switched to Cheristin, and it seems to work much better. It didn't work immediately, but after the 2nd treatment, both cats were flea free.

In Florida we have fleas year round and if it's not taken care of immediately, it becomes a real problem when you have animals. The Cheristin came highly recommended by an online cat community after I reached out for advise. My indoor cats had fleas for nearly 4 months. I tried Advantage ll for 2 months, back to back applications. After that didn't work, I then switched to Revolution (which requires an RX). I later came to understand that the Florida fleas have built up a tolerance to it, and so that didn't work either. Cheristin claims to have 1/2 the pesticide (much safer for pets) than other topical medications, so I was leery that it would work. After dosing all cats just once with the Cheristin and treating my entire apt. with Mycodex Plus Environmental Control (great stuff), the problem is FINALLY solved! Ordinarilly cats run away when I open any topical flea medication - not so with this. They didn't even smell it after I applied it to the back of their necks. Be aware that this medication does not work for anything else, such as worms (which is caused from ingesting flea eggs). I had to use a different medication to treat the cats for that.

Well after having a FLEA infestation for the 1st time since the previously prescription topicals came out, like Frontline Plus, which is what we've used for years, and we live here in Texas so the summers are HOT and the winters can be very mild, which is what we've had the previous 2 winters and I'm sure has added to our flea problem. My mother was sick all this year, since after Christmas 2016, and since she lives 2.5 hours away with no other family besides my brother in Alabama, I have been traveling back and forth more times than I can count to help care for her and her 2 dogs. Since summer began, she got sicker and sicker so my attention wasn't on my home, 3 dogs and a cat like usual. The fleas took advantage of my divided attention and settled in my house and on my pets without me even noticing. My mother unfortunately lost her battle with leukemia on June 30th and while my husband and I were out of town making funeral arrangements and attending the funeral and all the other events, my pet sitter called to say she found "a flea" on one of my 3 dogs. One flea?? No big deal, right? So I told her where the FRONTLINE PLUS was, for all 4 of the animals, and had her put it on them. When I got home to take a break from cleaning out her house and all the events, I realized we were in trouble...we had a full-blown FLEA INFESTATION!! I have dealt with this twice over 20 years ago when we lived in an apartment and had small children and ONE cat, and I remember it wasn't fun, but I couldn't understand why this happened after all the animals had just had a dose of Frontline Plus. I went to the web and was horrified to read that Frontline was now proving to be ineffective in many areas. Thus began my search for something that would WORK and BE AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE for my 9 year old, 18 lb cat! I read more about fleas and flea medications than I ever wanted to. After about a week of research and trying to fight the fleas in other ways like treating the yard, constant vacuuming, daily flea combing and picking (I have a good idea of what it feels like to be a monkey!), flea baths, organic sprays and topicals, we were still ankle deep in fleas (don't get me wrong, these conservative measures did help as we were knee deep in the fleas previously) and I decided it was time to use the "big guns" - poisons - against the withstanding enemy. I had even put another Frontline on my kitty since he is so big thinking maybe that would work. NOPE, it was as if I had put water on him. THEN, I found CHERISTIN for CATS. I read all I could about it and found that it had a better safety record and reviews than many of the others out there, and since I didn't want to give my baby an oral medication so I ordered it from AMAZON and after a disappointing delay in receiving it, it finally got delivered yesterday evening. I put it on my boy last night and surprisingly he had NO REACTION to it at all! With the Frontline Plus, he used to lick and try to get it off, I guess because it burned? Well today we've been finding a few dead and dying fleas here and there, and he seems much more comfortable - not scratching and biting himself constantly. We used something else on the dogs which seems to be working well, so I am hoping, fingers crossed and literally praying too, that this will FINALLY get the fleas under control and OUT OF MY HOUSE! I will write an update in a few days to a week when I know for certain what the results are. For now, thank you CHERISTIN! Only ONE vial on my BIG KITTY and fleas are taking a nose dive off of him into the carpet, the vacuum, and finally the garbage!

I have 2 indoor cats and somehow we managed to develop a flea problem. At first I convinced myself I could cure the issue without any chemicals on my pets. I tried DE powder in the carpets, obsessive vacuuming and combing the cats multiple times a day with the flea comb. I got nowhere and finally admitted I needed to get some medicine on the cats before the problem got any further out of control. I did quite a lot of research on various brands of flea treatment... it seems that nearly every brand you will find some horror stories about the product irritating the cats skin, making them ill, etc. That was a majority of why i was trying to treat the problem a more natural way at the onset of the problem. Of all the products I read up on, I felt the Cheristin by far had the most favorable reviews not only for it's effectiveness, but also the least amount of reported complaints in regards to the side effects. Just to put things in perspective... I probably combed my cats on average 3-5 times per day (they love being combed thank goodness!). On average I would find anywhere from 1-4 fleas throughout the course of the day. If I didn't find any actual fleas, i would always see evidence of them (the eggs or larvae or whatever the black specks and squiggles were that i brushed off the cats). Frankly it grossed me out.... but anyway i digress... So I get the Cheristin in the mail and manage to get a treatment on each of the cats. In the six days since I applied the product I have seen a total of two small fleas on my cat with the thicker coat... and both of those fleas were dead. That was in the first days after application. Since then literally nothing. No fleas, no flea remnants no nothing. As far as I am concerned at this point, the problem is gone after one treatment and I am THRILLED! :) Also one more thing - i received the product without a box and the instructions were photocopied. Frankly, this freaked me out a bit and questioned the legitimacy of the product... so I called the company (phone number is included in the printed materials). Right away someone picked up and was extremely helpful in answering my questions and reassured me that the product was genuine and safe to use. (Evidently the way they purchase the bulk product. the packaging was on back order or some such thing). Just wanted to pass that along that if you are unsure, there is a number included to call if you encounter the same situation and need to put your mind at ease.

This is the BEST out there! I've had cats all my life. Never had flea issues till I moved to a neighborhood where there are feral cats everywhere. My cat is indoors only. I have a dog, and use topical on her. After applying product, within an hour ALL THE FLEAS WERE DEAD! I did not bomb my house, I kept using this product all last summer, and stopped in the fall. Just got this 6pack again. I do not yet have any fleas, and am using as a preventative measure only. I probably won't use it every 30 days. When my daughter came to stay for about 6 months, her long hair male cat had fleas. Not sure what OTC flea stuff she used, but all the hair on his neck where she applied was gone, like he was bald in that area, and very sensitive there. Because I didn't want another flea issue, I applied one tube just below his bald spot. All his fleas died, just like with my cat. His hair finally grew back from the other product, and this product didn't give him any adverse reactions! I will say, that it can leave their fur a bit greasy, make sure to try and separate the fur so it is applied to the skin. Not always so easy, if some gets a bit messy, I just wipe a bit with a dry paper towel. Two Vets I have visited in the last two years have never heard of this product! I won't use anything else on my cats!

I used to use frontline and advantage 2 for years - plus the generic kinds of both - both which stopped working, and were as much or more expensive than Cheristin. My Vet recommed it one year when my 2 indoor cats got worms (ew) from fleas - the worms left their shells in their bedding. I live in FL; it's hot and rainy here often, so the climate is ideal for all bugs, and all it takes is one neighbot to walk by with afflucted pet, scratch, and ! Belive me, you do not want an infestation. I have a M and a F Dsh and Dlh cat, both 7 years old. I apply Cheristin once a month on the back of the neck, usually while they're sleeping. When they wake up, I pet them and give them treats. Be aware - it does hace a strong 'plastic chemical' type smell, that dlgoes away in a day. I keep an eye on both of them for 24 hours: the most that ever happens is they can get very sleepy and the little cat who weighs less can get flu-like symptoms. However, once theyve had their second or thirsonthly does, their body has adjusted Then Ido my normal routine of vaccuming, cleanining floors and laundry/washing bedding, and keep the litter fresh (and taking cat fur from the vacuum and trash right to the curb - very important!!!), and we are a flea-free, happy meowshold. I mean household. >^o^< I spent years do reasearch, and learning by trial and error, so I hope this helps someone. Number one - ask your vet or local spay and neuter clinic what is right for your pet. That being said, it is wonderful that I can now have this delivered straight to my home, and not have to make the 30 minute trip to my local Clinic! Thank you.

Cheristin beat my expectations, and the price by this seller is the best I found. My cat was slightly lethargic the first two days after the first dose but has shown no side effects on subsequent doses. Easy to use by just parting the hair slightly backward from of the line of the ears and midway between the ears. The cap is pushed down and punctures the tube. Then, put the tip of the tube to the skin, squeeze all the product, and rub in. I use nitrile gloves to do this. The fur looks a bit oily but becomes fluffy again after about two days with a little combing or brushing. I expected the product to take weeks to work but amazingly it worked within days! My husband also sprayed our yard with a flea killer three times at about 7 to 10-day intervals. My cat and I are so much happier. He is a rescue; he had up to 50+ fleas on him at the start of using the Cheristin. I can now let him in my house with no worries. I tried numerous natural products with no results. Very happy with my purchase.

My indoor cat is actually allergic to fleas. In Florida, the fleas outside are year round and abundant. The regular stuff (advantage, frontline, revolution) wasn't working anymore from the development of resistance by the fleas so we tried this. It's fantastic and we like that's it's less toxic.

We are 72 hours in and so far this product is amazing. My poor cat has a flea allergy and she is covered in sores. I have tried two other products and they didn't work. A few hours after I applied the product the fleas were gone. Her sores are starting to heal and she isn't scratching. The smell wasn't bad and it didn't leave her fur sticky or oily. I will edit this review once I see of it works all month long. **Day 10 review...So we are on day 10 and it is still working. All other products I havery tried stopped working around day 5-8. My cat is healing up and starting to act herself again.
