Hello, I am a new YouTuber. I needed a good video editor that had a lot of features, and didn't cost an arm and a leg. I can't say enough good things about this product! It is seriously amazing. It may not be as advanced as some more expensive video editors, but for the price, you can't beat it! It is relatively easy to use; especially when compared to other video editors. The timeline is very organized. Each track (whether it is audio, video, or music) has its own unique color to help you stay organized while editing. It also makes the experience more visually pleasing. Another thing that I love, is that this editor comes with a screen capture software! Altogether, with the ease of use, features, and price, this is a video editor I HIGHLY recommend!

It was good enough that I had to get the full version

It was time to replace the old X3 version I had of this so I tried X7 free for a month and was pleasantly surprised by the updates to the program. It was good enough that I had to get the full version, which to my surprise had even more features (just a few small things, but noticeable over the trial version that corel said was a full version but limited use to a month). I'm sure there are more powerful video editing programs on the market, but for the price this one is packed full of features and makes excellent looking videos. For a casual video editor that wants to throw together family videos or make a nice video of your last ski trip this will do the trick. My only complaint would have to be with the screen cap software included in the bundle as it never works for me, but that could be a conflict with my system and not the software itself.

This is an awesome program. I am still learning to use it however. but so far I like the different transitions and title animations. also the idea of using multiple audios for videos. it's just what I need at the moment. As I said I haven't been using it for long. if anyone has problems with it loading just readjust your screen resolution to the lowest in control panel.

A Nice Family Video Maker Beyond Windows Live!

My 8 year-old daughter has gotten into making movies ... admittedly a little young. However, she needed an application beyond Windows Live Movie Maker. Taking her requirements into account, we needed an app for: 1) Green Screening (her favorite) 2) Cutting and splicing multiple scenes 3) Being able to add in sounds/voice edits on top of video 4) Adding a musical score 5) Unique titles and transitions 6) Being able to add clips from YouTube into her movies 7) Easy enough for an 8 year old 8) Inexpensive enough for her parents This program has accomplished all 8 points and does it at being half the price of its competitors. My daughter still needs a bit of help, but she's getting the hang of it. In short, we are very pleased. Well worth $30!

I would like to see some improvements in future updates to the ...

I've used this software inside and out over the last several months and it handles most situations very industriously. As long as you are creative with how you film something, there are plenty of options on how to cleverly edit your videos with this software. I would like to see some improvements in future updates to the software, like the ability to color correct an image while still seeing it against the background layers, Chroma keying with multiple colors would be great (it can still be done by daisy chaining a video, but it's time consuming and tedious) or giving the subtitle text section the same controls options as video clips. Overall I'm very satisfied with this software. It's capabilities are well worth its price.

With a Little Help From You Tube Pro X7 Has Exceeded My Expectations

Had experience in an edit suite but never with a software application. I needed to edit a number of videos for a presentation so I bought Pro X7 through the daily deals and am very impressed. I cannot believe that this software was only $25! After using Adobe Premiere 30-day trial, I realized that it was more than I needed and far too complicated for a novice (I am editing high definition videos of educational conferences). Moved over to VideoStudio Pro X7 and was very happy. It did everything I needed it to do and more! Intuitive, works great, no crashing, and solid output. Highly recommend.

Old Version is Very Good!

Being a Photographer, I do a lot of Photography and Videos and this works Great for me with what I can do with changing or correcting my Videos.

Performs as-advertized; Reasonable, too

WOW! Reasonably-priced; intuitive interface with lots of options. Processes and burns INCREDIBLY fast if you have RAM and processor speed. On-screen video capture tool infinitely size-able, and works great (although the file sizes are a bit unwieldy for videos over a few minutes in length). Great application, top to bottom.

Great Software for the Money

Great value for what I paid for it. Has so many bells and whistles it will take me months to figure it out, but that is a good thing. This is probably all the software you need if you are just the average person getting into Video. Main reason I bought it is it does 4K Video. My Galaxy Note 4 has that, and I want to get my feet wet into doing video work.
