Solid Lighters when a Consistent Flame is Needed
I bought these lighters to use for general candle/incense lighting around the house and for emergency purposes (we live in Colorado and getting stuck on the road in the winter can be a chilling experience in all senses of the word). So I put a couple in both of our vehicles, a couple in our off-roading kit and several scattered throughout the house. They were a great deal at just over a dollar each. I really just wanted six but most of the bulk packs only provided five, so I wound up with a dozen. These lighters are standard disposable Bic lighters, not the mini size. They do not have a flame adjustment but they do have a very consistent flame so adjustments aren't really necessary. I've found that with adjustable disposable lighters the flame is less consistent and the fuel doesn't last as long. Besides, I have the longer Bic lighters for lighting fires and candles that have burned low inside their holders so there is no need to turn the standard lighters into a blow torch. The lighters came in multiple colors, although one pack had five blue and one purple lighter. The other pack had more varied colors. Color was not an issue for me as I don't really accessorize with lighters. However, it's always nice to be given a choice because choice represents liberty and freedom. The end result is these lighters work great and I know they will be there (everywhere, really) when I need them and they will perform consistently for everyday and even in emergency situations.

I click with BIC!
Over the years I have used many different lighters. Some were fancy, engraved, propane-filled ones. Others were cheap, crappy ones. I have found BIC lighters to be my favorite of all. (But not those mini-sized ones as they are TOO small!) I smoke. I smoke a lot. I keep lighters in the bedroom, in the dining room, at the desk, and in the car. When I last got tired of searching around the house for a working lighter I decided to buy a whole βmessβ of them on Amazon. I think I wonβt run out of lighters again for a while! _____ I watch the TV show βNaked and Afraid.β Never have figured out why --if they are allowed to bring a fire-starter (as they are) -- they bring some old flint thingy instead of a BIC!

Amazing
I received 12 large, full, working bic lighters. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I honestly just expected to receive 12 random colors nothing special but I got some with pretty designs on them. I will definitely be purchasing more and to be honest I will only be buying from here. I was so excited to get them and I am extremely excited to use them...Yes I am excited to use lighters. :)

Get it for the VALUE not the colors!!
The variety of color didn't matter to me. I got different colors even though several of them were the same color, so what? All that mattered was that I good batch of working lighters. They are all brand name BIC lighters and yep, all full size! Since these lighters typically sell for between $1.99 and $2.49 a piece in retail stores, I am certainly not going to complain! The price was right, the shipping was free (And they were shipped fast enough.) and I got what I wanted....12 full sized BIC brand lighters. Should last me a pretty long time! I would definitely buy these again simply because they were a great value, not for the variety of colors.

Great colors
I received 12 individual lighters in a package. They were mostly blue or black with a few red or green ones. I assume this is totally random but I was very pleased with the color selection. They are exactly what I expected for quality.

Bang for your buck!
Second time purchasing - solid set of lighters for great value. If you're constantly buying lighters, save yourself some money and capitalize on the convenience of having 'em all on hand (+) For always arriving sooner than projected ππ½

They all light nicely, they have so-called ""child guards - unnecessary
I ordered 12 full sized BIC lighters and that is what I received. They all light nicely, they have so-called "child guards" - unnecessary, I think. Colors I got were black, green, blue and red. Lighters came in a padded envelope and were new and nice looking - not a problem. The black ones I wrapped with a two-inch wide, one-foot long strip of red duct tape -- looks really cool and good to have the tape with you at all times. (out camping and rip a hole in a piece of clothing ?- make a quick repair with the tape or use a piece of it as tinder since its flammable -- has many uses) Lighter is a good product that is fairly priced. I paid $14.98 that included shipping - that works out to $1.25 per lighter delivered. If you don't like the "child guard" you can remove it easily with a small screwdriver or such like. Lighters work on everything from joints to stogies to bond fires or to light your way down the hall of a haunted house. Zombies fear them. Best Bic Experience: Years ago a pretty cocktail waitress in a high class Pasadena bar Known as "Chromos" offered to "flick my Bic". Cheers!
