I have always been a fiend for condiments, and especially Heinz Ketchup, which beat every other brand in my 4th grade blind taste test challenge to my parents. Alas, as the years have gone on, and my waistline has grown, I've tried to find ways to cut down on the amount of sugar and empty calories I take in on a daily basis. Since I'm certainly not strong enough to cut ketchup out of my diet entirely, I've turned to Heinz Reduced Sugar Ketchup to help. Now, while there is a minor taste difference between this and normal Heinz Ketchup, I’ve got to say, I actually like this better! The slightly less sweet flavor lets the other flavors shine through a little bit more, and much like my conversion to other reduced sugar brand items, I now much prefer this flavor to the original. With just 1 gram of sugar, vs. 4 in the original, and a corresponding drop from 20 calories to 5 per Tbsp, in addition to the (in my opinion) better flavor, I’d say this is an amazing buy!

I can't make it through a day without using this ketchup at least once (usually on my egg whites). I’m a competitive bodybuilder so every macro counts and I usually have to watch my carbohydrate intake on a daily basis. This ketchup gives me ALL the taste of regular ketchup with only a fraction of the sugar and carbs. It costs more but it’s totally worth it for the delicious taste and reduced calories.

I am a Heinz buff, to put it mildly. You could even call me a purist. I have difficulty with *any* other brand of ketchup. The one thing I've become concerned with in recent years is the high fructose corn syrup in it. I had switched to "Simply Heinz", which was good, and HFCS-free, but it only comes in tiny, pricey bottles. The same can be said for the Reduced Sugar variety, but I got an absolutely killer deal on Amazon (including Prime) for six bottles. As far as the taste goes, I really don't notice much of a difference between this and regular Heinz. So if you're doing a low-carb diet, or you're just tired of refined sugar (whether from corn or cane), do give this a try. I love it!

I love ketchup and didn't know if I could still love it without any salt. Well guess what it is great. My granddaughter is a ketchup lover and when I handed it to her she was skeptical, well she loved it too. You really don't notice there is no salt. Most of the salt free stuff I have been buying leaves me thinking I can't do this low sodium diet, but this is great and I do not miss the salt out of it.

AWESOME PRODUCT & TASTES GREAT!!!! As a type 1 diabetic and someone who loves ketchup on EVERYTHING...well....not everything, but most things, this product has made a world of difference in my life. I don't have to take as much insulin and my blood sugar doesn't spike when using this ketchup. A small amount of regular ketchup shoots my blood sugar up. It is so frustrating......but not ANYMORE thanks to REDUCED SUGAR Heinz Ketchup! : ) I bring a container with me if I know I am going out to eat and will be using ketchup because it makes that big of a DIFFERENCE!! *** Diabetics...if you haven't tried this yet you need to. If you know someone who has diabetes buy a container of this for them. It still has the same great taste with a lot less sugar in it. : ) Thank you Heinz for making this product. I wish a lot more companies would develop products that help diabetics eat regular foods. Every little bit counts in the life of a diabetic!

This variety of Ketchup far exceeded my initial expectation. The subtle taste of balsamic vinegar awakens the taste buds to a totally unique experience. I used it with my last hot dog and sauerkraut snack and had to go find my socks...so good was the taste, it knocked my socks off.

My wife is a T1, so we've been looking into ways to reduce sugar intake so we can better manage our carb load. Ketchup is one thing she can't live without, but since it's typically loaded with sugar, it's something we struggled with. Thankfully, this cuts out a ton of the sugar while still tasting good. It was difficult at first, since if you eat a lot of sugar, you get used to the taste. However, over time, as we've reduced sugar we've also gained an appreciation for other tastes - for example, this is nice and tangy, much like ketchup in other countries. In fact, if we go to a restaurant now, she actually prefers this to the regular ketchup they carry. So it goes without saying that we were happy to see a 6 pack of the stuff, since we tend to go through these smaller bottles quickly.

Ketchup is one thing my household does not waiver on. I expected this to at the very least have an altered taste. I expected chaos, anarchy and hellfire to rain down from the members of my household because I dared change their ketchup. I was originally going to hide the fact that I had purchased the reduced sugar variety, but after tasting it I was more than pleasantly surprised. There is no weird sugar free aftertaste or any bitterness, there is the regular taste of Heinz ketchup. The members of my ketchup snob household are currently fairly certain that I have filled a sugar free bottle full of regular ketchup in an attempt to "mess" with them. That is the best testament to the flavor of this that I can think of.

Having been diagnosed with Meniere’s Disease and forced to adapt to a low-sodium diet, I was beyond disheartened with food choices. They put salt in EVERYTHING. Lots of low-sodium products taste terrible, so this was a great surprise. Pepper the heck out of your burger, add this ketchup, and you’ll be enjoying “real” food again.

I am on the Keto eating program so I am watching my carbohydrate intake. Regular ketchup has 20 calories and 5 carbs per tablespoon and this has 5 calories and 1 carb per tablespoon. I only use ketchup on hamburgers, meatloaf, in making cocktail sauce for seafood, and homemade barbeque sauce, but I did not want to have to give it up totally so this is great for me. I cannot taste the difference at all between this and regular ketchup so I am very happy. I know some people will have an issue with the fact that it is sweetened with sucralose, but I have done a lot of research, an although much of it is negative, there are also thousands and thousands of people who have avowed that they have lost a lot of weight, and suffered no health consequences, using products with sucralose in them every day. I figure if this is the only product I consume with sucralose in it, I should be just fine since I only use it once in a while and sparingly. I am just not willing to give up my Heinz ketchup because nothing else tastes as good to me. I recommend it.
