Hello! I'm not a regular reviewer, but I am compelled to write this review because I just got my labs back and love my results so far. I take blood tests regularly to monitor my health. I have had chronically high cholesterol my entire adult life. I am a 44 year-old, very petite, African Amercian Female. I first learned about my high cholesterol over 20 years ago while in college when I got the very disturbing news that my cholesterol was 305!! Since, I got it down and maintained it within the low 200's. Over the past couple years, I've really monitored my total cholesterol, but could not get it to trend under 200. Below are my quantified results: Apr 2015 - 203 Aug 2015 - 217 Jul 2016 - 199 December 28, 2016 - 210. Super frustrated with my December levels, I researched and discovered Antarctic Krill Oil by Sports Research and Icelandic Astaxanthin by AlgaLife. I ordered them via Prime, and on Jan 5, 2017, began taking 2 capsules of the krill oil and 1 capsule of the antioxidant every morning with a meal. I re-tested again on Feb 15, 2017 and just got my results (today is Feb 18 2017). My total cholesterol is now 187! I've NEVER tested that low in my entire adult life. I did not know what to expect within this short 41-day test period. I just had to share with you! My goal is 150. Important to note... my diet did not change during this testing period. I will continue to take these supplements and retest in another month or so. I will post my results for you. I am optimistic! YAY! -Best Always!

These are the real deal. Our good cholesterol improved significantly taking one per day. From low/mid 20s to 40 and 39/40 to 51. I wanted something with significant astaxanthin so that I didn't need to spend more to buy an extra pill just for that. These have more than most brands. Also, the serving size is only 1 pill and most of the others are 2. Many of the others have less of the good stuff for a similar price/day. Viva Naturals has a great product with slightly more good stuff but is nearly twice the cost per day. MegaRed is also effective but you would need to take 2.5/day to get the same level of omega-3, 3/day to get the same phospholipids, and then you would have to get a separate astaxanthin if you wanted a high dose of that. These are effective and a great value.

I am a dog walker, do kettlebell 3x a week, MMA once a week, so I'm pretty active. Before I took these, I had a lot of inflammation around my joints, especially my knees. Sometimes it would be so bad that they would be hot to the touch and itchy. I take one of these every day and there is a very noticeable difference. If I forget to take it, I notice within about 2 or 3 days, as my joints will start hurting again. These really help to keep the joints well-lubricated and control inflammation. I think it also helps with my muscle recovery. I choose this brand because of the source of the krill oil is eco-friendly, and it is one of the few I've seen where you only need one pill for a large dose.

I took sometime to read other reviews and here's my own experience. For the people complaining about the fishy smell please understand that this is bc there is minimal use of any artificial flavoring or ingredients to mask order Etc You'll see one person point out the use of vanillin which is artificial vanilla this is to reduce that smell some. What else do you expect from a supplement harvested from an oceanic source??? I really don't understand some of the things people complain about lol Simple logic will tell you this is a good thing!!! There is one gentleman that complained about it going rancid. If you read the first line in all caps from the seller it clearly says DO NOT STORE IN THE FRIDGE. It breaks down the gelatin in the capsule. Once it oxidizes it will go rancid. Employ some attention to detail and common sense lol I can't blame him though naturally you'd think storing in the fridge could only help

I just started taking quite a few products by this company. I am taking Krill, I also am taking Collagen, Blueberry and Turmeric. I am taking for sore joints, I can barely make it up the stairs and I can hear "crunching" in my knees when I go up the stairs. I have been on everything for about a week. I really didn't expect results this soon, but I have already noticed a difference. I can bend my knees at least and they are less painful. The big thing though is my blood pressure is way down. It is normally about 180/130 and I took it three times today to make sure and it's been about 115/75. I will update again in about a month, but whole cow, that is unreal.

I've taken krill oil before, but only 500mg at a time. When I increased to 1000mg (I weight 200) I had a noticeable decrease in aches and pains which I attribute to a reduction in inflammation. I'm 58 and was just thinking "this is my new normal". Glad I tried the Antarctic Krill Oil!

I have purchased several other products from this company for myself and my husband and have actually been giving the Krill Oil to my dog who desperately needs her Omega 3s (as I only take vegetarian omega myself). But I am very happy with the outcome of her skin being on this supplement and I have tried other brands for her; I will be sticking with this one. This is my 3rd bottle of it for her. This is a high quality Krill oil and I know you have to be watchful of what brand you buy when it comes to Krill.

I have hereditary high cholesterol that I have been trying to control with diet and exercise. The last few years I seem to be losing the battle. My total Cholesterol count in Oct 2017 was 314 with an HDL of 45 (previously it was 65-75)A friend who is certified in eastern medicine and acupuncture told me about krill oil. I did my homework, read a zillion reviews and settled on this product. I started taking it about 4 or 5 months ago and my most recent test (last week) came back at 281 with HDL of 72!!!!! I was so happy I cried! Naturally the doctor thinks 281 is still terrible but I am thrilled as it hasn't been this low in about 15 years. I had thought this product was a bit pricey, but after this result I think it is worth every penny and I will continue to take it!

I have been taking Sports Research Krill Oil for about 5 weeks, now. Before then, I was taking a much more expensive brand of krill oil which claimed to be the ONLY good krill oil that would produce marvelous results. Well, I didn't get their "marvelous" results, so decided to try Sports Research's Krill Oil, since I use one of their other supplements that is the highest quality I have found over 10 years of working out. I was not disappointed in SRC's Krill Oil, taking half the dose of the super-expensive brand and getting the same good results. I am 68 years old and work out strenuously with both weights and yoga stretches 3 times a week , and the krill oil helps me keep flexible and not get as sore. The workouts are something I have found I have to do if I want to remain active, travel, and have the energy and stamina to do it as I get older. I believe that Sports Research is truly motivated to give their customers the best product at a reasonable price, relative to the cost of producing their high quality products. So, they have won me over for another supplement.

I LOVE THIS STUFF! So it's only been a couple days but I feel super energized and my head feels really clear, I'm also sleeping better. I had a minor strain on one side of my neck and trap muscle that has been really sore and the muscle was really inflamed and even that feels 90% better!!! I switched to Krill oil from Fish oil because the fish oil was making me really bloated, so much so I couldn't take it anymore (seriously...my jeans wouldn't fit I was so swollen). This Krill oil has no bloating, no upset stomach...its AMAZING! I'm so happy I switched!! ***I wanted to revise my review now that I've been taking it for a cpl weeks now. First, make sure you eat something with it, or you will get a slight "oceany" burp. Nothing terrible (like Fish oil), but it does NOT happen when taken with food. Second, wow my dreams have been viivd lately. My brain also seems to be functioning at a higher level these days.
