Inexoensive and work when the big boys fail. Amazing!
Father in law gave to me as a gift. I put in my large garage tool box and never intended to use. I own snap on, Irwin and craftsman extractor sets that cost hundreds. On at least three occassions I've tried the others only to fail and almost gave up and drilled out with my left handed drill bits. On a gamble I grabbed these. Each time they immediately removed the stripped screw. Immediately! Amazing for any priced item but these were so inexpensive and out performed the big boys.

Surprisingly easy and effective.
I was skeptical at first; the threaded end didn't look like it would do much, and the cutting end looked like it would just make a shallow divot. But I had a cheap and badly stripped screw driven halfway into a piece of ipe to contend with, and grabbing it with pliers (further damaging the shallow head) was not doing the trick. Flaking plating, pot metal, totally reamed-out philips head, the whole messy shebang. The bits are perfectly engineered for both ball-detent and wire-detent use, so I chucked the second-smallest bit in an el-cheapo wireless screwdriver, cutting end out, set it to reverse, and went after the center of the screw head. The cutting end easily cleaned up the hole, and spun freely once it was (very quickly) done with its job. Then I flipped the bit, left the screwdriver on reverse, and went after the center of the screw head again. the threaded end of the bit grabbed the screw quick as you please and backed it right out. Speed Out indeed. I'm a convert.

Excellent.
This works really well. It's such an indispensable tool, in those situations when nothing else can extract the stripped screw. This thing worked well, and saved me a lot of time and frustrations. It does what it's designed for. Excellent.

every home must have this
This is the best thing to sliced bread. It worked amazingly on a screw my son threaded. He put together an expensive floating shelf for his xbox, DVD and so on at sets below the TV on the wall. problem occurred when he put it together wrong and could remove the soft screw that threaded. it took longer to read the quick instructions than to remove the stubborn screw. Saved the shelving unit.

Rusted 15 Year-old (or more) Screws
Purchased this item to remove rusted door latch / knob screws from a compressed wood door frame. To put the situation into perspective, previous screws broke just trying to put new screws into the door (for a coat hanger). So the screws were embedded pretty well and had rusted to the plate over the past 15 years (or longer, but no less). I stripped the screws trying to remove them, and they did not budge even slightly. I thought I would have to cut them out. However, the SpeedOut removed them so easily that there wasn't even a slight initial struggle, it came out smoothly. I highly recommend this product.

Good quality tool for the price
Have used these several times since purchase and they have performed and held up well. They seem to be well made and good quality for the price. I had some Craftsman bits like these that did not work as well. I am not a professional but a weekend warrior!!

worked great for me
I have used my Speed Out damaged screw remover twice so far using 2 different sizes. Worked perfectly both times, just make sure you have a replacement screw ready if you need to replace the stripped one you are removing.

Pre-drill a deep whole in the bolt first and use a hand tool to extract the bolt and it works every time
Great product pulled out broken bolts with a little work but other wise I would have needed to replace an expensive piece. I recommend pre drilling with a smaller bit and going deeper than the package recommended as this provided the most grip on the bolt and made extraction easier. Also I would recommend using a hand tool to extract the broken screw as the drill can easily strip the whole you made forcing you to move up in size or ruining it all together.

SUPER CONVENIENT!!!!
Great product. I have only used them about 3 times but every time it worked perfectly. I am very pleased with this product, because I have been stuck wondering what to do when a screw gets stripped.

Works just as advertised
I didn't know how to extract a damaged screw from a bookcase that had screws holding separate pieces close together. I did a search on the Internet and this product came up quite frequently. Since am not a native handyman, I wondered if I would be able to extract the screws as advertised. The short answer is that the product works. I already had a drill and it was very easy. I thought I'd never get the screw out before this product arrived but thank goodness it worked.
