I'm currently still using this keyboard for all my DAW needs. It works great with FLStudio 20.1, Renoise 3.1.1, and eMusic Piano for dummies. The only con I have is the drum pad buttons are a bit stiff. Other than that it's perfect.

I love this keyboard. I'm satisfied with this purchase. I've been using it for months now and I'm happy. Please be advised that this is a controller for your daw. There are no sounds in this keyboard. You cannot unplug it from your computer and make music. It has to be plugged up with the USB cable that comes with it. With that being said, you'll be able to make beats and play keys in your home studio.

I love this keyboard it does make the job easier for me to make my own beats with the software I use which is Fl studio and Logic Pro I use it both my mac and windows computer and just love it a lot.

I don't know how to play piano at all and I wanted to learn while also being able to compose music for my video games with FL studio. This keyboard is great and works really well for what I need to do with it. I've only used it with FL Studio and found it annoying to install the software that the keyboard came with. It's a great keyboard though, shipping was great everything in tact.

This is my favorite keyboard of all time. I have tried a few other M-Audio keyboards because they have always made a quality product but I absolutely fell in love with this keyboard the minute I got it. It has perfect weight and sensitivity to the keys and pads. I also really like the knobs and faders at the top so you can minimize all those unwanted mouse clicks. It is also super easy to set up, all you need to do is download the driver from the M-Audio website then plug in and play. By the way I use Ableton Live Suite to record my tunes but I'm sure this keyboard works great for all DAW's.

Keyboard controller works great. It is plug-n-play and I didn't need any drivers on my 64-bit Windows 10 setup. Keys don't feel like actual piano keys, but they do feel like a professional performance keyboard. The M-Audio Oxygen 49 has more control knobs and buttons than you can shake a stick at -- okay maybe not, but plenty to satisfy your control needs. The included 3rd-party software left me disappointed, because both Ableton Live and ProTools First focus more on copying & pasting someone else's loops than on helping you make your own music. But since this is a class compliant MIDI controller, you can use your MIDI software of choice. I've had no problems using the Oxygen 49 with Sekaiju, Anvil Studio, as well as ACID Music Studio 10 and the latest ACID Pro 8.

I would like to add some long-term observations about this keyboard, but will wait until I have a few more weeks of hands-on time. This is my first "mini" MIDI keyboard, as my other is an 88-key Yamaha. The form factor of the 25 key layout was the primary need. After several weeks of use, I can report this unit has been rock solid. From the first time moment I connected via an USB3 port, it neatly integrated with FL Studio, and has worked without a hitch. Here are a few of my thoughts: Pros: - Pads are nice, and seem to respond to velocity with aggressive tapping - Session control buttons: loop, play, record, stop are positioned perfectly over center of keyboard, and make using the DAW a dream - Keys have decent tactile feel Cons: - Minor nitpick, but it seems the touch sensitivity could be re-calibrated.. I find myself banging on the keys at times :) - No other issues.. I really enjoy using this keyboard Overall I feel that I made the right choice going this route over the Akai or Novation Launchkey

if you have pro tools then get this. if you don't then still get it, its not to big and not too small either for someone starting out working on music.

I like the build of this keyboard. It doesn't feel or look cheap and is really lightweight. I like how the keys feel, I use this keyboard to compose on Logic - I play mainly chords and melodies. This keyboard is definitely not suited for the heavy classical stuff, but I guess it would be okay if you're just practicing. I got the 61-key version because I thought I'd need that range for composing film music but I found that it's a bit too big. Takes up the whole width of my table and doesn't leave space for my computer/uncomfortable. But that's just my own desk problem. Overall, I love this keyboard because of how it's built, it's affordability and the feel of the keys.

We use this controller as a live music keyboard with tons of layers and it handles the experience very well. Obviously it was designed to be used in studio editing but it sure does the trick when you don't want to pay $1000 for a Motif
