Great filament, ive used nothing but Hatchbox brand in my printer! ive never had an issue with any of it and ive bought many different colors and materials (more than 200$ worth in fact). From PLA to ABS and even their wood filament, ive loved it all and never needed to unclog my printer. The color of this filament is a very deep blue. I really love the color and how it comes out in prints and have used it for alot of things. It might be a bit dark for some things but for my purposes it was perfect. I would recommend this to anyone out there. Why spend 50$ on something when you can get the same exact results with something around 20$? I cant think of any reason.

My first roll of ABS and it printed beautifully on my first attempt. I printed on a heated glass bed using hairspray, and it adhered perfectly and popped right off after cooling a bit. Even my wife with her sensitive nose didn't complain about the odor, which was nearly undetectable to my poor sense of smell.

I bought this filament because I had been getting TERRIBLE prints with some old red stuff of unknown manufacture I had been using. I suspected the problem in the old stuff was water adsorption. This new filament works great though! I was debating whether to give 4 or 5 stars only because there's a small amount of "bridging" where very fine wispy strands connect things that shouldn't be connected. I think this is a problem with any filament though and is more the fault of the printer so I went with 5.

Very happy with this ABS. It works very well. Prints nicely, looks good and the parts are very strong. I have zero complaints. I like the shade of blue it has. The color is a very strong blue and doesn't have a "subdued" or dull look where the manufacturer cheaped out on the pigment. I have never been disappointed in any Hatchbox filament.

Great filament, good prints, Hatchbox has been great for us so far. Our HICTOP 3DP-18 has certainly used a ton of filament with no tangle issues. The filament ships quickly, is vacuum packed for freshness and is wound well on the spool so no tangle issues.

I am a rookie ABS user but I am pretty proficient with PLA, and I love hatchbox pla. That said this is my first roll of ABS in over 2 years, my last roll of abs was so hard to work with that it made me vow never again to use ABS. But this roll is making me think of switching back. It was really easy to work with once I got the temps dialed in (210°C w 80° bed and NO FANS). Also I've seen a lot of reviews saying this ABS is not effected by acetone. Well, see attached images. "I'm melllting, I'm melllting!!" This was my first vapor smoothing session but I think it turned out great.

I used this on a Lulzbot Mini. I measure the average width on my roll and it came out to 1.84mm and the extrusion temperature which worked best was between 230 and 240. I have previously purchased a competitors blue filament and had nothing but jams. I have experienced no jams or issues with this filament. With my machine Hatchbox PLA, ABS, and HIPS have all been quality. I highly recommend this brand and this particular color. It has a nice sheen to it.

So far I have gone through 4 spools of Hatchbox Blue filament and 2 of the Red. It prints well, sticks to the heated bed plate wayyyyyy better than the stock XYZ filament does, and is so much cheaper. The XYZ filament costs about $26 per 600g, and the Hatchbox is $21 per 1000g, which makes your prints cost a lot less. So far I have had no issues at all with it and continue to purchase more when I start to run out. Just do yourself a favor when using ANY filament, make sure that the filament is dry at all times. This means storing it in a container with silica gel to absorb moisture, and also keeping your printer in an area that doesnt have excess moisture. During the winter I can store mine in the basement with no issues, but during the spring/summer, I have to bring it upstairs. Otherwise you get what I call "Print Farts" which is when the filament is being extruded and the moisture in it expands quickly and causes breaks in the print. This is especially annoying when it happens on the base layer or an outer spot thats seen.

I used this to print a part for one of our cars to reattach the seat controls on a Mercedes ML320 SUV. The controls broke off due to aging plastic. I printed a piece to strengthen and replace one of the parts of the controls and it has held for months even with extreme heat and cold.

I had tried the HatchBox black ABS with my DaVinci printer with excellent results. The blue is just as good. The color is deeper and more rich than the other blues I have tried. The roll has work perfectly with the print head and has never clogged or caused any issues. I am pretty much sold on this brand of filament, the price is right, the shipping is great and the results are exactly as I expect, will definitely buy again.
