6.0 powerstroke
Neatest thing ever. I love it, made my truck stop acting like a slow diesel and I get better gas mileage and was able to do a lot of neat things like turn off my EGR. nice.

Better outcome than expected
At first i was hesitant to purchase this tuner. I finally pulled the trigger as my 2005 F350 super duty 6.0 diesel was having a few issues, low boost and a possible bad egr valve. The device was easy to update on my PC and easily read and changed features i wanted I used to this verify the low boost error code. Changed the ERG valve, deleted the code. I used the factory tune, changed the tire rotation as my tires were larger than sock (275 to 295) to correct the speedometer and it corrected the shift points and speedometer. I also entered the jake brake and the axle ratio i noticed the difference immediately once i started the truck and took it for a drive. It shifted smother and there was an immediate increase in power, some of that was related to the new EGR valve but also correcting tire size and other functions. I definitely would recommend this tuner

My truck went from a dog to a stallion in 5 minutes....
I was on a 6,800 mile, 14 state truck camper trip. I was being passed by EVERYBODY, all the time. My engine ran well but didn't have the power others appeared to have. I got passed by guys with the same truck towing a 5th wheel....going up-hill....how can that be! On my way home, I had an issue that took me into a shop. I picked a 'performance diesel' shop and in addition to fixing my problem, asked them to look into my lack of power. The did a couple things but in the end, it was worse not better. I got this tuner and at the same time, discovered a crack in my MAP sensor hose (likely cause for lack of power). Fixed it and tuned it at the same time (so I don't know conclusively if it was all the tuner) but WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Like a new truck. I was thinking about getting rid of the truck before this but now, I'm keeping it forever......absolutely love it. It has more power and responsiveness that I ever thought it could.....unloaded on the highway, it can get almost 20MPG.

SCT is the way to go.
2010 F150. Help with throttle lag, and shifting issues. Feels like a truck again. My 2nd sct tuner with 2 different trucks and will use nothing else.

Works great
Scanner was well packaged and came in a timely manner but I can't seem to get it to work I kept getting error codes for different things but know I just get one when I try to load my tune into my truck. It's #110B8 it says it's an upload error. So I'm giving it 1 star until I get it figured out why it's not working. Update I got it working SCT support helped me out the device needed a firmware update that you don't usually get when just updating the device through the website since this is an older unit. Just call them up and they will update it for you when hooked up to the computer.

Canned Tunes Work Great
My 2017 platinum f-150 3.5L ecoboost truck is pretty much stock powertrain wise. I do have a 6" liftkit with 35" tires. I'm running the SCT canned 93 octane tune. Truck runs smoother, better MPG, fixed my speedometer, and more power/torque available due to increased turboboost psi. I will eventually get exhaust and cold air intake, that's when i'll get a custom tune. Just note that it took me maybe an 1-1.5 hours to update the device firmware and files itself over wifi. It's alot of files 200+ files. But once you get it on your truck/car, its maybe 10 minutes to load a tune.

Bang for the buck
Works real well with my 06 powerstroke the amount of custom adjustability is great especially the trans settings and egr delete, it will also compensate for different size tires if needed. The canned tunes are great with my truck which has been bullet proofed

Works for my needs
I bought this to check codes after I did the EGR delete on my ‘06 super duty. I am not able to keep the check engine off unless I add a tune, then it will stay off. I do use the towing tune when pulling a trailer and it works well. No complaints.

cann tune - custom tune - monitor - datalog - troubleshoot
I've owned SuperChips, Edge Juice, and SCTs This device offers plenty capability for anyone willing to learn how to fully use it. I have an old livewire, used it on several dif vehicles (at dif times), its loaded with custom tunes, and has performed well - no issues. But it looks like a CRT TV mounted on my dash by today's std. Likes: 1) recognized vehicle/pids etc easily, and loaded canned performance tune wo issue 2) have pyro (from old livewire) connected and it reads but note: I wouldn't buy another pyro unless heavy towing or hard hotrodding, and if I did it would be a stand-alone pyro. Banks sells one I own and like. 3) Ability to display 8 real time PIDS, datalog, diagnostics - eg, a Scangauge is a very useful tool at about a third of this price, but it can't make vehicle run and shift better/faster 4) Adapts to multiple dif Ford vehicles Additional tidbit may help someone: years ago my 6.0 developed a surge during hard acceleration, above 2300 rpm, but ran fine with icp unplugged. This was immediately after trialing dif custom tunes via livewire. I discovered that my toying with transmission shift adjustments while loading a custom tune (not a preloaded tune) had caused it. Notes: its obdII jack wouldn't protrude down too far, for me, if it were a 90; would like to have an easy fuel pressure read capability; a nice sct logo sticker didn't accompany tuner; I think its gauge 'ICP Duty Cycle' is aka IPR %; reads/loads much quicker than my old livewire The ECT reads wacky, like twice the actual temp, until reaching apx 140 degrees F. This, as far as I know, is applicable to only 7.3L. I seem to remember having same issue with Scangauge II, same vehicle. Anyway, ECT reads fine after exceeding apx 140F. Worth it.
