A cooling mist on a hot day

We use this on a round stand fan that oscillates. It provides a nice mist, but of course, you do need to be close enough for the mist to reach you. We take this to our church for games at Vacation Bible School. The kids love standing in front of the fan and feeling the cool mist. Of course if you stand close enough and long enough, you will get quite wet. The clips don't fit on the non-linear grid of our fan, so I used twisty ties and it works just fine. I have city water and have had no issues with the nozzles clogging. We don't use it heavily, but it gets about 15 hours of use during the week of VBS and off and on use in our own backyard. It does seem risky to have electricity and water in such close proximity, but we are careful to turn the fan on before the water.

What relief!

Summer in Jacksonville can be brutal! We purchased this for our pool patio area a few weeks ago and we couldn't be more pleased! It keeps us comfortable in 95+ degree weather! If you get too close to it, you will be wet (I'd prefer wet with water over wet with sweat any day), but you can move it further away from everyone and it will keep anyone in its path cool and comfortable. We've even entertained a few times outside since we've gotten it. Our guests have gone home saying, "I'm getting one of those!". Right now, we have it hooked up to a standing fan, but I ordered an oscillating fan and plan to switch it out when it gets here. This plus the fan was cheaper than ordering a fan with mister.

I have tried a different brand that had a metal ring with the nozzles in it and it only lasted a few weeks before leaking. This one seems to be of much better quality and has already lasted longer with no signs of wear. Easy to install also. I will probably buy another one of these eventually.

Wonderful product and amazing seller!

Wonderful product and amazing seller! I needed assistance with the mister once it arrived. The seller answered my questions quickly and couldn't have been more responsive or helpful. I would rate this as my best Amazon experience ever! The misting ring itself allows us to be in the summer heat in relative comfort. It definitely drops the air temperature. As other reviewers have noted, the mister will put out a fair amount of water. We found if we put it a bit further away, we get the circulating air and the mist without getting wet. I've also used it close up to mist the tropical plants we have on the deck. I would definitely recommend the product, as well the seller.

Excellent Quality Fan Mister

Wow, this mister really works! I attached mine to a 24" industrial grade fan in my workshop/barn. Compared to the other fan misters for sale, it was a bargain. When I turned the fan and the mister on, it blew the mist all over. There is a large amount of mist that comes out when the water was turned on full blast. Dew droplets were starting to form on my desk, cabinets, and on my jeep, so I had to adjust the amount of water until it misted just right ... cooling efficiently but without the droplets forming. Know that I had it indoors in my shop, so full blast outside will surely quench those 100° days. Be sure to get the filters for it to take out any impurities that might clog up the nozzles. AZCOOLMIST outdoor misting fan is AWESOME! I love this thing. It cools down hot spaces and it raises the humidity in dry places. It's simple and I love it that way. I had a problem with one of the nozzles and lightning fast AZCOOLMIST sent me out a new set (4) of nozzles for free. I really appreciate that. The new nozzle worked great and I have had no problem nor do I expect a problem with this awesome device. hook it up to a garden hose and a fan, turn everything on and enjoy. I prefer my misting fan about 10 to 15 feet away for maximum effect without becoming too wet.

Arrived on time. I had a problem with the nozzles ( could have been trash in my hose ... don't know ) when I turned on the water. AZCOOLMIST contacted me with an hour or so after I reported my problem. They assured me that they would do what ever it took to make the system work as expected. I can't believe how helpful these folks were. The company sent me replacement nozzles and the system works great. I don't use the fan much, the misters with the two nozzles keep my old beagle happy. Love it .... a great product. I strongly recommend this product and dealing with this company.

Works really well. Just be sure to remove nozzles after the season is over, and clean them and let dry. ultrasonic cleaning is the easiest and best. If they get clogged up, use ultrasonic cleaner to bust up any calcification and they work like new again.

nice, long connection hose and powerful mister. Mine has to be cleaned out every now and then, but it could just be my water quality. Definitely worth the effort and cost.

Great Mister

This thing works well. Could you make it yourself? Probably... But it would be more hassle than it's worth to find all the pieces that make this work the way it does. I have the three nozzle, it produces enough moisture to wet the porch when running for over 30 minutes. So I have to make sure it's not going to be blowing into anything I do not want wet. The animals on the porch however love it.
