Great Boards for the Price
Great boards for the price. They are thick enough to push pins into without poking into the wall. They hold a lot, and the adhesives are strong enough that they won't fall down like some other boards I've used. Highly recommended!

Best cork option for covering significant square footage for cheap!
This is the best product, I'm so happy with it. Like everyone has mentioned, it's a thin layer of cork mounted onto sturdy foam core--which is extremely functional because you can actually pin stuff into it without damaging the wall! Also absolutely the cheapest way to cover significant square footage with cork! I mounted these easily with command straps, and butted them up tightly against each other so that you can barely see the seams between them. I used three and a half to span the width of my entire wall, and was easily and precisely cut down the half with a razer blade. I used this in my studio as my inspiration wall, and my kids were so excited to do the same in their room. The box comes with 10 so I'll have plenty more for other projects!

Great For College Students!
These are great inexpensive cork boards. I purchased these along with 3/8-inch pin tacks and they do not rip through the board. I put these up in my dorm using the scotch indoor mounting squares and only needed one square for it to hold. You can put them together to make a big cork board or tile them at the corners to add a little style to your room. I'm definitely recommending these to my friends since there so lightweight we wont be causing any damage to the walls and that's all a college student really cares about!

lightweight for temporary mounting
I don't want to make holes in the wall to permanently mount a message board. I used doublestick foam tape to mount this to a painted wall. I did a test strip with the foam tape first to make sure it didn't disturb the painted surface when removed. A little alcohol cleaned off the small amount of remaining adhesive without damaging the paint. This is just the right size. Great price, too.

Perfect for my project
Perfect for my project! I follow a designer and she had the cutest setup for her children's artwork! I decided to try it out. I ended up having to cut the board (which I knew I had to do to get the correct dimensions for the frames), but that was easy peasy. The board was also thicker than I expected, but it fit perfectly. If it's going to be hanging, I definitely think it needs a frame of some sort. Not that it has rough edges, but it doesn't look complete without some sort of border. All in all, I would recommend.

Perfect for a DIY project
This is a great board for a diy craft project. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cork part is actually a thin covering over a foam core, but that doesn't seem to create any problems. Thumb tacks can go all the way into it. I am going to buy a bunch of these to use as a kids craft camp project. I made a basic sample (shown in photo). It doesn't have "finished" edges, so I put washi tape all around the edges to cover them and make a "frame". It's a great cork board for the price.

Good buy for the money; you do not need solid cork.
Read carefully, this is not all cork. It is a cork laminate over a tight foam core. You actually get two of them in the package...it works great and is extremely light. Mounted it as a wall bulletin board over a kitchen desk using only those peel off tape picture mount strips. Also bought a unique Square Wood Push Pin to go with it, also on Amazon Prime. A perfect combination. A very low cost and attractive combination.

Useful, Trimmable, and Stand Up Well to Pins
I used 3M Super 77 Multi-Purpose spray adhesive (review elsewhere on Amazon) to attach a total of 5 of these boards to the back of a large wall map -- 4 boards uncut, 1 trimmed into 2 shapes to fill the middle gap. The boards are packaged in pairs with only a plastic shrink-wrap and no edge protection so there was some minor crushing of some corners on 2 of the 3 packages, but it wasn't enough to create a problem for my project. I used a metal straight edge and razor-blade cutter to do most of the trimming (one cut was made with a very sharp steak knife) and found the material is tough but manageable. I was also able to trim pieces as thin as about 1/8" when I accidentally glued one board onto the map a little crooked. The finished map, reinforced with wood strips across the entire back, is hanging on a wall and I've been using LOTS of long map pins to mark visited sites -- and so far the cork layer seems willing to absorb as many pins as I can stick into it. I've been careful not to push the pins too far in but haven't seen any go all the way through to the wall. (The wooden reinforcing strips give me 1/8" of airspace between wall and board, and when looking with a flashlight haven't seen anything sticking through.) Even so, if using this for a regular bulletin board, I'd use regular thumbtacks or pushpins and nothing with a longer shank.

Sturdy, light weight, great value for the money!
These are AWESOME!!! I'll be buying another pack soon. I nailed them to my wall to use as a vision board and they are very strong and light. I used clear plastic head pushpins, and they almost poke through the back but don't pierce the poster board backing if that makes sense. And bonus!- when removing a pin from the cork to put the pin someplace else, it's like you never pinned it at all, as it sort of reseals. These are small, but true to the measurements(this is why I'll buy another set) and they arrived in perfect condition, in a cardboard box, with no dents. Very happy with this purchase, and will hold all of my pictures just fine!
