These are awesome! I was pleasantly surprised that these work so well, the wire between fans and the wire that connects to a power source is generously long. I have one of the AC Infinity MULTIFAN S7, Quiet Dual 120mm USB cooling fan on my surround sound amp, one on my PS4 and two on my Xbox One which seems to get hotter then the other two. I bought two of these (4 fans altogether) since you can connect two of these together and use just one power source. I like the fan controls and the fans are very quiet. You can have them blowing in or turn them over so they pull air through your equipment. It's amazing the temperature difference with these fans sitting on top of my equipment. I have my equipment in a cabinet and I was concerned with the high temperature prior to getting the fans. These fans are the same size found in many computer towers and my cabinet is a lot bigger than a computer tower. Once installed I was amazed how quickly my equipment cooled down and stays cool. I highly recommend these to family, friends or anyone who wants quiet fans to keep their equipment cool. If you find my review or pictures helpful please like my review. Thank You!

I found my new Denon AV receiver to be really really warn, dare say hot to the touch even in a well ventilated, open air TV stand. I was looking for a cost effective and versatile option to boost cooling to extend the life of the receiver and these fans are great. Truly plug and play. Plug into USB port or a USB power adapter (you likely have a spare laying around) and they do their job. They are quiet on low and really cool the receiver. Even when set to high, I can only barely hear it when nothing else is on. Not distracting at all on high and silent on low. I also like there is length in the cords to space out the fans to where you need them. I cannot speak to durability as I just got them, but they are very nicely constructed and expect them to serve their duties for a long time to come. Definitely recommended for a quick cooling solution. Likely will get another to move air around my cable modem and router, as they also are little heat generating machines!

I was looking for an intercooler for my PS4 & stumbled across a few that received poor reviews & almost all of them were ones that attached directly to the back of the PS4. Then I came across these multifans - I liked the fact that these didn't attach directly to the PS4 so I did some more research & decided to go with them. The quality & construction of the fans are top-notch! They came pre-assembled & included a ziptie & a small, 3M adhesive strip, neither of which I used for my setup. The rubber boots that sit on the corner of these fans also help to ensure the fans don't move around or create any rattling noises. My PS4 sits in an enclosed entertainment center (except for the front) so while in use it gets pretty hot & stays hot so I needed a way to draw heat from the system & at the same time blow any hot air out of the enclosed area. I read someone's review & decided to follow their setup - I have one fan on the bottom of the PS4 blowing air away from it. The other fan I have at the back of the PS4 blowing air away from it & out into the open area (front) of my entertainment center. Also, instead of hooking up the fans via USB ports on the PS4, I used an old iPhone USB plug adapter & have it plugged into a power strip. I did this because the PS4 only has 2 USB ports, both of which I use to charge my controllers. Another huge plus about these fans - super quiet. You barely hear a thing! I've only been using the fans for about a week, but I've noticed that this setup has helped keep my PS4 significantly cooler which is crucial to prolonging it's life, especially in these hot summer months! I am definitely going to buy another set for my XBox One & other electronic devices I need to keep cool. If you're looking for cooling fans for your electronic devices, these are the ones to buy! See pics for details on my setup.

The fans are quite, move a good amount of air, and have given me reliable service. Will purchase again if I ever need to add airflow to an enclosed piece of hardware. Added these fans to the back of a cabinet where I keep my desktop and NAS. Installed by cutting holes for outside air, then drilling out fan screw holes and bolting them through the wood with longer bolts. If anyone is wanting to do this, it requires a 4.5inch hole to fit the fan opening and leave space for screws. I don't recall the drill size I used for the mounting holes, but used a #10 machine threaded screw - adding back the rubber pads keeps any components from blocking airflow. The rubber bumpers will fit over a #10 machine screw or #8 nicely.

I constructed a builtin cabinet for the Home theater system but ventilation is an issue. Without fans running the air above the receiver was 118F (minimum) and as high as 140 if pushing the amp, With the fans running boosted (see below) the average temp has dropped 40°F. I noticed the tag on the fans say 3 to 6.5 volts so for $3.68 I purchased a DC-DC usb step up boost converter here on Amazon. I adjusted it to 6.5 volts and plugged it into the usb power supply. THE FANS CAME ALIVE! Giving them the rated 6.5 volts vs standard 5volt usb power nearly doubled the rpm and now makes the variable speed switch a useful option. The booster is plug & play complete and added more value to an already good product. The fact these are wired with a switch just saved me the time and expense of doing it. The particular fans I purchased were warehouse returns but arrived in perfect like new condition. The fans are smooth very quiet and are pulling cool air thru my AV receiver as I type this review. Only time will tell how long they will keep running smooth & quiet.—(2/24/18 still smooth) All in all I’m pleased with my purchase & wouldn’t hesitate to purchase them again. I’m not associated with this or any product. I received nothing in return for my review. I recommend this product and the booster board.

I bought this to cool off my PS4 which sits in a small shelf. The PS4 would always get exceedingly hot, to the point where you couldn't touch it, some of the cables in the shelf even began to melt. One fan sits horizontally on the back end of my PS4 to pull the heat off the unit. Another sits vertically in the shelf to help push the hot air out. It is USB powered so it turns on and off with my PS4 which is nice. The USB cable is long and has a female USB-A receptacle to connect additional fans in a "daisy chain" topology. Since plugging these in my PS4 no longer over heats, and I can't hear the sound of the fans running at all. Very happy with my purchase.

Having a Xbox one, and I know it gets very hot. After being on for a while, it would get really hot and shut down. I happened to come across this item, and decided to buy it. It works amazingly. I set one of the fans on top of the Xbox, and the other behind the system. The one in the back is blowing forward towards the system, and the other blowing up to pull the hot air away from the system. It keeps the Xbox one very cool and no more of the system shutting down due to high temperatures. I also bought another one for the PS4 1tb system. I have both of those blowing towards it on the side. The fans are very quiet. Only downside is you have to remember to turn it on, and off. I hoped it would power on and off with the system, but it does not. Also it's a bit difficult to make the wires neat when setting it up. Buy those are minor complaints. I will definitely buy more when needed.

Bought this for my PS4 Pro. I've had a Ps3 and a Ps4 go down on me in the past so I wanted to make sure it doesn't happen again. I started off buying one of those fan cooling vertical stands. I wouldn't say it "cooled" it but it was noticeably less hot but still nowhere near where I wanted it to be. So then I bought one of those exhaust fans that you attach to the back of the console to draw out hot air. Wasn't impressive but was not bad and actually worked decently in conjunction with the vertical stand. I was pretty content with that setup. The PS4 would feel warm, opposed to hot, after a long gaming session. Although the rear fan mod was decent, it was still cheap and ultimately one of the fans sounded like it was off track or the bearing. Worried it was going to break, I wanted to purchase another fan but one that was more durable. Fast forward and I bought the 2 AC infinity fans with the adapter. It's not even close how much better these are even on the lowest setting. I have my ps4 flat and wedged between both fans on top and bottom. The PS4 is cool to the touch on top and bottom after a long gaming session and even the exhausted air feels cooler than before. This setup might not look as cool as my original setup, but this is much much more efficient.

I have these zip tied in a custom cut out that I had to do right behind my receiver which was getting very hot during loud music. The clearance for the receiver was very minimal. In fact I couldn't even place a fan on top of the receiver blowing into it which would have been ideal. Overall these fans are a great bargain. Here are some of the things that I like: 1. The fans come with grills which are very nice for external components (unlike a PC case fan). 2. The rubber feet are a great addition and I could definitely see using these fans to set on top of set top boxes and receivers blowing into the product. The feet give the extra clearance I think for the air to flow more efficiently. 3. The USB feature is priceless. I have a USB port on my receiver that is supposed to be used for a wifi adapter. Needless to say I use the port for these fans and it is great because the fans power up with the receiver and turn off when the receiver is off too. All I had to do is obviously turn the in line fan switch to the appropriate position. 4. Comes with the ability to string another set of fans in line with the added USB adapter. Here are a few cons that could use some work for future fans: 1. Not quite as QUIET as I expected. For this reason I would give this product a 4.5 star review if it were an option. To give you an idea... I have these fans behind my receiver which is in a giant entertainments center. I have a HTPC/server to the left of the entertainment center (on the ground). I was sitting next to my HTPC/server today to plug in a USB thumb drive and I heard the AC Infinity fans. To confirm it wasn't the HTPC/server fans (which has four 120mm fans in it) I turned off the receiver thus turning off the AC Infinity fans. Needless to say the fan noise stopped... the HTPC/Server was whisper quiet (granted the fans are in the case). Anyway... the fans are much louder than I expected. I do, however, believe that this isn't going to present a problem though as I know that the receiver being on constitutes loud noise from music and/or movies. 2. Another thing that would have been nice is to have some place to put my zip ties through. If I removed the rubber feet to use the holes I would have had to zip tie the metal guard into place. In any event, I just improvised but it would have been nice to have some pre drilled holes nearest the edges of the fan. My fabricated hole in my cabinet preceded the fan installation by a year (I though the hole would help with the heat but it didn't do much).

I didn't buy these fans to be used as advertised, instead I mounted it in AC stand. Having said that, it works great! Total cost of the project was around $23 (if you have the tools already). Better than the $50+ I would have spent if I actually bought the cabinet model.
