I have been using essential oils for other uses and have battled gum issues for a long time. I decided to try the essential oils and my last visit to the dentist, I was told to keep doing what I was doing. My gums had tightened up, the bone lose can't be improved but I have stabilized in the bone lose process. I use in my water-pik at night, directions calls for 1/4 teaspoon with 7oz of water. I find that very strong, so reduced the irrigant amount. Make sure to run clear water thru the water pik after each use. In the morning I rinse with Crest Clinical mouthwash. I also, use herbal tooth paste.
