I was going to cancel this order because it looked small however this little box is a little bit wider than what you will find at a pet store. I love it and so does my kitty. (I bought her a little box with a cover and she didn't like it so much.) Highly recommend!

A must have for larger cats

I have two large cats, one male, one female, and they were constantly either missing the box, or throwing litter all over the bathroom. I'm not talking a small amount of litter, I'm talking about miniature sand dunes. Not to mention the smell of urine could knock you over. Yep, that's what I woke up to every morning. I bought this box based on other reviews, and I am so glad I did. My cats have more room to do their business, they no longer miss the box and the litter stays where it belongs, in the litter box. The pan is sturdy, seems well made and I expect it will last a while. If you're cats are having the problems I explained above, try this pan, it just might help.

It is little, and very sturdy

OK. This is a litter box that only the youngest kitten could use - it's so small! But it is well made - very sturdy. I I thought by being described as small it meant low sides, which I wanted for my senior cat. Since it is very small in size, I decided to use it in other ways. As I said, it's very sturdy.

Easy to clean and durable

I got the medium size for my 3.5 pound bunny to use as his litter box. He fits right in with enough room to turn around. Easy to clean and durable. He tried biting it but barely did anything so he gave up, pretty easily too.

Simple is Best

This review for Petmate Litter Pan Jumbo size. Simple is best. No fancy, but large open space that cat easily use without stressing out. By the way, if your cat is standing up to do poop or pee, that means cat litter box is too small for the cat. - Pro: Affordable price. Simple design, Simple basic color that matches interior the room ( I don't like harsh blight color for their litter box). Large open space for cat to poop / pee without stressing out, and easy to clean up. - Con: None. But Like other reviewer saying they changed box shape, now (2019) it has slightly curve both side. FYI, I read article about when is the timing to replace litter box. It said; when cat litter get stain, odor, or/and too many scratches, that is the right time to replace.

8 Weeks & Younger..Maybe 9

Definitely a SMALL KITTEN pan, I have a 11wk old kitten & when we got her a few weeks ago she was only 1lb.6oz., small & underweight for her age, when she was 9wks old it was perfect for her. Now she has outgrown it. She'll use it but looks at me like "Mom, it's time for a longer box." The height of the box is perfect for her since she's still short, but she is ready & waiting for a longer/wider Litter Box, I'm hoping to find one longer & wider but not to much taller. I recommend the Nature's Miracle Disposable LB, it's a great "in between" box & is Pixie approved. As for other comments abt. the litter getting stuck or being "flung" I'd recommend a larger box, Pixie has to dig a huge hole to poo in & has made very little mess.

just what I wanted...a strong, durable cat pan

I have tried the stainless steel pans....mine scratched out of the box, not easy to clean, stainless steel is not durable as it used to be. I think the claims made in favor of the stainless steel pans are not accurate.... You cannot beat a sturdy plastic cat litter box.....seriously! (if people complains about their cat "going to the bathroom over the side of the litter box), other than a cat having a health issue......people are just not cleaning the litter box frequently enough....That issue can't be blamed on cats behavior...that is the result of a litter box in desperate need to a cleaning! Do your cat a favor - start cleaning their litter box...you will see...no more issues!!

Cat likes it; I LOVE it!

I'd never have expected to write a review for a cat litter box, but here I am. I LOVE this thing! I have a big old male cat, and he's a bit messy with his boxes, kicking litter out the sides and all over the floor. It was time to replace his old box, so I started looking. I was worried at first it might be *too* big for him, since it is larger than his old box, but he took right to it. No litter kicked over the sides, he seems happy with more room, and THE best, from the perspective of the person who cleans the box: the litter REALLY DOESN'T stick to the bottom of the pan when you empty it! Next time I need a new litter box, this is the one I'm buying.

Litter Pan for Tidy Cat Breeze Litter System

I purchased this pan to utilize as the lower pan because of it's depth with the Tidy Cat Breeze Litter System using horse bedding pine pellets instead of the pellets that come with the litter system. Pan works great in holding the sawdust that comes from pine pellets once cat urinates on pellets.

Small for kitten Feb 2019

I have two growing Persian kittens, females. I was unsure how big these would be as the testimonies varied on what was received. As of the end of February, 2019, the ones I received are very small - for a kitten. My girls are still small, but half-sized cats. These are likely too small for them. I've never had a cat with litter training problems. I do now with one of them going outside the boxes everywhere. She is otherwise a perfect and sweet cat. It's frustrating. I have one big boy and two little ones. With these, I now have 8 litter boxes. I'm hoping by adding them everywhere, she will learn. They will be having babies, so these are still perfect for little kittens. Don't expect this to work for a full-grown cat of any size, even smallest full-grown. These will work, maybe, for a couple of weeks for the growing kittens who are 8 months old and will likely be 7 or 8lb cats full-grown. Still glad i got them at a great deal of $2.30.
