Does What It's Supposed To Do

It worked well. It is weighty and durable. I had no problems figuring out how to use it. I say this because the instructions are on the outside of the box in a very small font that is a light bronze color that blends in to the light bronze background, making it very difficult to read, even with high power readers. It's a common sense thing though, really. But, it would be nice to have easily readable directions for folks who don't have experience using one of these.

AT&T wanted to charge me $25 for a brand new Sim card when I switched phones (no other country in the world gouges cell phone customers like the U.S. does). So I purchased this fine product and saved myself, and any friends who may have the same problem in the future, the money. It is very easy to use and comes with every kind of adaptor you could possibly need. Even though my sim is now itty bitty I can still put it back into a larger slot on another phone and it works!

I recommend you search Amazon for the following product

Usually fuss with the alignment a bit before punching to ensure the SIM contacts (electrical contacts, not a collection of phone numbers associated with user names) are correctly aligned after the cut, but it works. Includes decent adapters, but the SIM ejectors are not long enough for a couple phones I've tried. If you have this problem, I recommend you search Amazon for the following product: Paperclips 9/10 would buy again.

This sim card cutter worked perfectly. The cutting blades are sharp and made clean cuts. The cut sim card worked perfectly in my new phone. I really liked that this cutter came with multiple sizes of frames to allow you to use Nano and micro sims in slots designed for larger sims.

Seller replaced defective item.

Broke the 1st time I used it when I was trying to cut a micro sim cart down to a nano. UPDATE : THE SELLER REPLACED THE ITEM. I RECOMMEND THIS SELLER BECAUSE THEY STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS.

Worked great

This worked flawlessly. I was nervous to try cutting a micro down to a nano SIM myself, but this device is almost idiot-proof ... And I am not tech-savvy. It comes with a little instruction sheet, and also has stamped right on the cutter what to insert where. Not much force is required for the actual cut, just a steady downward pressure - do it on a table or countertop. Minimal sanding on one edge had my new nano fitting perfectly in my phone's slot tray. (Thickness was not an issue with my phone, but that may depend on the device.) If you're nervous like I was but really want to cut down a SIM for whatever reason, get this. I think it is definitely better than printing out a template, doing it by hand and hoping for the best. Now I'm happy to have it on hand in case friends or family have a need for it. Plus, the price can't be beat.

Good sim card cutter

I've only used it once so far, but it worked great with no problems. It didn't come with any instructions but it's pretty straightforward to use. It is made of metal and should last a long time. Price was great too!
