Our new grand-puppy has taken to this little bone as if it was a pacifier. When my daughter leaves her with us, she curls up in her bed with this little thing in her mouth and stays there until she starts getting confident enough to start moving around (and getting into mischief). Although she has given it quite a workout with those sharp puppy teeth, the little bone doesn't appear the slightest bit damaged. It's a semi-soft plastic, fairly light-weight, and full of little protrusions that appear to provide either comfort or a challenge. In any case, she loves it.

My standard poodle puppy adores these. They are the perfect toy for her to chew on to her heart's desire. She loves playing with other toys, but when she really needs to simply sink her teeth into something, this is what she wants. I will be purchasing more once these wear out. After 3 weeks of regular chewing, the only signs of wear are bite marks. We'll see how they hold up, but it seems it'll be a while!

Great for tough chewing.

Very nice and soft for my pup! The product was a little small so not for a big puppy, but my golden retriever never tore it to shreds. It’s still one of her favorite toys and is very well made. Perfect for big time chewers! Highly recommend for first time puppy owners, it saves a lot of hassle with your teething pet! It never fell apart and she didn’t chip pieces off I am now a constant Nyla bone customer!

8 week old and 12.5 year old labs

This Nylabone seems just the right level of firmness for both my 8-week-old and 12.5 year old Labradors. They both enjoy chomping down on it - and my older dog hasn’t wanted to chew on anything for at least a year or more. (They both also like the puppy Kong - size small works for both right now, though I’d real safer for my older dog with a medium.) I made the mistake of getting an XS/petit and I think it’s probably a choking hazard for both dogs. I let them have it when they both are inside and within my sight and/or when I’m on the floor playing with them. I definitely recommend this toy in the proper size for your dog.

I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This is a very SMALL bone and meant for SMALL dogs. Small puppies specifically. I just rescued a 4 1/2 month old Pug/Pitt mix and he loves this thing. He has been chewing it for two days straight and there's only minor destruction. It's by far his favorite and I always make sure I'm in the room with him when he chews. I DO NOT encourage anyone to put any bones inside if crate-training. Overall, I'm very pleased and will likely buy another by the time he's no longer a puppy.

Super cute and softish for puppy teeth. Still durable enough for her to gnaw on it for hours. We always keep an eye on her while she chews but this bone has held up for about 30 hours of chewing so far! We use this is help shift focus from chewing on fingers or bracelets/watches. Just watch out for older dogs! It’s definitely meant for small dogs who don’t chew rough or puppies— our tough chewer got a hold of this and bit it in half in 2 seconds! We had to throw it away and order a new one immediately.

Our two cocker spaniel puppies live these. They have been chewing on these since they were 8 wks old to present 8 months old. We don't leave them alone with any chew toys. They do chew the nubs off and it passes right through. We throw them away when they get worn down.. I have only bought the pink ones.. I was reading the reviews and notice people think the blue ones are stronger. I will try them..

ONLY meant for puppies with puppy teeth!

This is a fabulous teether toy for smaller breed dogs. I have a chihuahua puppy and it's perfect. It keeps her busy and it seems to be her favorite thing to use when her gums are sore. She never tears it up and she uses it every morning and night when I supervise her playing with it.. Now on the other hand, I also have an adult chihuhua in the house also who got a hold of the first one I bought and she had it torn up within minutes. So I say to you, keep these away from adult teeth. It is not durable enough for a dog who has matured and certainly not a bigger size dog ever! But it is exactly what a small or toy breed puppy needs for teething.

Perfect size for little guys

This size is great for my mini Aussie pup! We’ve had trouble finding him toys since most toys are bigger than he is! This is perfect for him to carry around the house! I have seen negative reviews about people’s labs and other big breeds chewing them up fast, and as an owner of a lab as well, I would not recommend this for large breeds. This is not a large breed toy. My lab chews on antlers because he demolishes everything else. This is perfect for PUPPIES of small breeds like it says on the packaging. 😊
