Ordered these to attempt my first birthday chalkboard. The board is great. I still have some things left to fill in, and my artistry is by no means great. If you trace lightly with a pencil first, you can lightly erase mistakes without damaging the board.

Used this for 4h projects

So, we ordered these as part of a project for 4h. The size was perfect, the sturdiness was exactly what I would expect ( no surprise thin board). However we had a heck of a time keeping things stuck to it. We usually use spray adhesive or even rubber cement for putting pictures onto the board. Now I am not sure if it was the board, or if it was the pictures were on a funny material that made it difficult to get adhesives to work. But just think about having several adhesive types on hand, just in case.

Foam board works fine for holding canvas while being painted

Ordered these to use as paint-by-number canvas backing. They do the job very well.

Perfect

I made these into birthday boards for my twins and they were perfect. Sturdy, as described, quality boards. I bought the markers that were suggested through Amazon and they worked well (write dudes infinity metallic markers).

Photo Memorial Board

I covered these boards with photos for a Memorial. Looked really nice - like a collage.

These worked perfectly for me. I used liquid chalk markers, just because that's what I had around. Looked great and I definitely recommend!

3/16” easier to cut than 1/2” foamboard.

Expected 1/2” foamboard, but found this 3/16” easier to cut and to mount OVER other foamboard.

Good foam board in a smallish size

This is good quality foam board, but it's smaller than I expected (smaller than the ones by the same brand at walmart). Be sure to double check the size when buying.

Faux Chalk Boards at their finest!

Great faux chalkboards can be made with these bad boys and some chalk markers - a great addition to temporary/party decor and a lasting piece of memorabilia that I can taunt the children with for years to come! Considerably cheaper than making actual chalkboards
