I love this product because I love Rosehip oil and I love organics. I use it twice a day on my face. It is an anti-agind oil, treats scars and lets my skin so smooth. I also use it on my hair. I’ve ordered my second Bottle. Rosehip oil is fabulous to skin, nails and hair.

I spent a little more for this because it's USDA Certified Organic. The last, cheaper brand I bought from Amazon said "organic" but it smelled very neutral, leading me to believe that another oil was added and it wasn't 100% pure rosehip oil as advertised. Pure rosehip oil has somewhat of a strong scent that isn't great but not terrible. I did add lavender, frankincense and sweet geranium essential oils for their combined scent and anti-inflammatory properties. Anyway, this bottle was the most economical with the USDA Certified Organic designation. I'm not tied to organic products; however, I don't appreciate ordering products on Amazon that aren't what they purport to be. To me, it's worth it to spend a little more to get exactly what you want. Getting back to his product -- it works just like the more expensive rosehip oils I've purchased at health food stores.

I have been using this product for about a year now and have it shipped to me through Amazon's Subscribe and Save. I'm 40 years old and live in arid Colorado so my skin tends to be a little tired and dry. My skin is combination oily and dry. I use this on my face and neck and it works well to keep my skin hydrated and plump, even through the winter. I use this year round, but in the summer I use only 1 pump of oil, which is about a dime-sized portion, and a pump and a half in the winter. I put this on in the morning after I splash rose water on my face and before I put on BB cream or sunscreen and it does not feel oily after it soaks in, about 5-10 minutes. The 4 ounce bottle lasts pretty long about 3-4 months, depending on the season so pretty affordable at under $19 through Subscribe and Save. I like that it's 100% organic rosehip oil, with no other oils or additives mixed in. Would definitely recommend this product.

I have used this oil every day since I have received it and I am truly amazed by the effects! I honestly am not one to take time out of my day to write a review but I felt it was important for the fact that I have had decade old scars and just by applying this oil twice daily have already seen slight lightning of my scars in the short time I’ve had the oil. I not only use it on scars I also use it on my hair and nails. I get horribly bad hangnails and had one the other day that made me not want to extend my finger it was throbbing so bad. I applied this oil at night and in the morning my finger felt 100% better. It normally takes me over a week to get rid of hangnail pain. So I’m truly glad I came across this oil if only for that purpose in itself! 💛

I received my Rosehips Seed Oil yesterday and I was going to wait several months until I saw visible results of its magic but this is such a superior product I just couldn't wait. I am 66 years oil and spent all of my teen years on the beaches of San Diego long before spf was mandated as part of our skincare regime. I have taken good care of my skin since my early 20's when I went into the cosmetics and skincare industry and worked there for 25 years. But the damage is done and not one of the many, many lotions and creams I have used has been able to reverse the sun's effects which are obvious from my hairline to my cleavage. Long after I changed careers I learned that no cream or lotion can begin to reverse damage to the complexion because they consist of molecules that are too large to penetrate the upper layer of the skin, the epidermis. Oils are made up of much smaller molecules and have the ability to moisturize the skin at a somewhat deeper level. Keep in mind that any product that has the ability to make appreciable changes in the skin must be classified as a drug by the FDA and marketed as such. That said, I am switching from argan oil (which is wonderful) to Rosehips Seed Oil due to its propensity to fade scars. I have visible scarring on my jawline from plucking those pesky hairs and two long scars down my right cheek from having skin cancer surgically removed. Although my nose and chin are still a little oily I still need moisture. Oil and moisture are two entirely different substances. I originally chose argan oil for it's comedogenic rating of 0 (on a scale of 0-5 with 5 being the most likely to clog pores), and Rosehips Seed Oil is a 1 so I feel confident I am on the right path. FYI, coconut oil is a 4 on the comedogenic scale and should NEVER be used on the skin-not even for cleansing. This particular oil is a deep golden color with a mild nutty or earthy fragrance that tells you it is a product of nature and 100% pure. There is no discernible smell when it is on your skin. The smartest thing Pura D'or did was to bottle their oil in a very dark brown bottle with a pump instead of a dropper. The pump works perfectly and dispenses just enough to spread over your entire face and neck. Using the pump you don't have to open the top of the container every time you want to use it which would expose the product to unnecessary air which could degrade it. This feature alone is worth the purchase. But beyond that while the oil is on my skin it makes it feel very soft and moisturized. When I wash it off my skin still feels smooth, soft and moist-quite a feat for skin that has been through what mine has. Do I expect miracles from it? Absolutely not-that would be unreasonable. But I still want to use a high grade oil as a moisturizer on my complexion. Nothing in all my years of selling skincare has made my skin feel to good. Thank you so much for such a wonderful product, I feel 100% confident in recommending it.

PURA D'OR Organic Rosehip Seed Oil 100% Pure Cold Pressed & USDA Organic Anti-Aging For Face, Hair, Skin & Nails, 4 Fluid Ounce I purchased the Pura D'or Organic Rosehip Seed Oil for the first time in December 2017 after reading it on an organic/toxin-free beauty blog I follow, and started officially using it around January 2018. I liked the feel of it on my face as soon as I started using it, so I continued using it up until recently when I finished the bottle and thought I'd offer up my review of it. It took me about 5/6 months to use it up. I personally use it in a DIY facial serum blend that I make to put on my face, which includes other carrier oils along with essential oils. I'm sure if others use it on it's own it may last less. I did try it on it's own on my face for about a week just to see how my sensitive skin reacted to a new product, and my skin loved it. Adding it to my DIY facial serum further gave me awesome results! I had already been using my own DIY facial serum for several months before adding in the rosehip seed oil, but the addition of rosehip oil these past 5/6 months gave me better, noticeable results in terms of lightening hyper-pigmentation in various spots, and plumping up my skin and giving it an overall more hydrated and glowy appearance. It's also great under my makeup, or sunscreen! Per my research, I kept it refrigerated since it can quickly go rancid. When I traveled on vacation I just made a tiny batch of my serum to last me only until I got back home. So long as the quality remains the same, I will definitely keep using this brand of rosehip seed oil!

This stuff is amazing!! I've ordered rosehip seed oil before, and this one is very similar in consistency, color, and smell. It has a very nice earthy scent that is not overwhelming. I am 27 and have super sensitive skin. Rosehip oil has helped my skin so much. I have very oily skin as well, so of course I was not sure about rubbing more oil on my face. This is a dry oil though, so it absorbs nicely. It is also a wonderful primer for makeup. Since I've been using it, my makeup stays on all day, and it does not crease at my smile line as usual. I also developed a rash on my neck from who knows what. It wouldn't go away, but finally I used this product and it is starting to get better. My skin has a nice glow, and every night when I take off my makeup and look in the mirror, I am pleasantly surprised. This bottle comes with a pump which is also amazing. My other bottle came in a normal oil bottle with the little spout, and it takes forever to come out because it is so thick. With this one, I just pump once for my face in the morning, and twice at night. I put it on my neck and shoulders as well. Maybe I am just super excited about this product, but I do swear my skin looks younger too! EDIT: I have ordered 4 bottles so far, and my last bottle has a strange color and scent. It is definitely not the same as the first ones and I am skeptical to use it. It is darker and almost has a fake red/orange tint to it. I am extremely disappointed because I really loved this product.

After having a tummy tuck I used this to massage into my incisions and wow what a difference! Highly recommend!!!

I love this stuff! Iv been struggling with a rash around my mouth since the beginning of October after trying a new face cream almost every month I decided it had to be perioral dermatitis. Of course doctor google told me that in order to get rid of this nasty scaly itchy rash I would need a few weeks of antibiotics. After doing TONS of research and reading I decided to try the “miracle oil” it’s not like I don’t have almost every other oil in my kitchen.... why not add another. I apply it to my entire face once a day, or every other day. However I applied it to this specific spot on my mouth twice a day, and would massage that spot for at least 30 seconds. And these are my lovely results 😊 excited to see what the results are in 8 more days!

Background: I'm 30 yo female with a history of acne+scarring as well as redness on my face and overall sensitive skin. I apply a few drops to the entire face, neck, and decolletagé area after washing my face/showering (mixed with an essential oil blend) while the skin is still damp. Initially it seems oily but it soaks in nicely while leaving a healthy looking glow. I have been using this product for roughly 8 months now and I can honestly say that I have noticed a huge improvement in my skin. The redness is gone and the scars are barely noticeable. Also, I have not had a single breakout with this product which is a huge thing. Disclaimer: I am writing this to receive a free bottle but my review would have been the same regardless. Just incentive to actually write a review... PLUS I get another bottle!!
