RPG15: Packs a Punch for Not a Bunch
I've had this speaker for over 7 months now. I use it every now and then, not as often as I would like, but I believe I am now qualified to write a review on it. Yes, it has held up, which is probably one of the primary concerns for many people looking at a Dj speaker under $200. It has a pretty decent construction and I can't see any scuffs which I may have caused the unit to receive in various transports. The sound quality is quite good. It goes pretty loud compared to some of the "budget friendly" Dj speakers and their not-so-acclaimed companies I have used before. Bass is pretty decent; it gets quite low (in Hz) for a speaker and can be cranked up (in SPL) on the unit itself. I have actually set the speaker on my floor with the bass cranked up and had some lighter objects fall off my shelves. However, the extra-low frequencies don't travel that far or give the chest thump from a distance as many people see as a drawback. I would just like to remind the purchaser(s) of this product that it is a speaker, not a subwoofer. I think this would be greatly complimented by a Rockville RBG18FA to help with the low end, but the speaker should not really be knocked off points for that. The weight is somewhat on the beefier side and should be taken into account by potential buyers. I believe you actually get much more than what you pay for with this unit. It is half the cost of many similar entry level units and offers much more. For less than $200, this speaker lessens the economic gap many starting Djs have to get over to get out there and do their thing. I give it 5 stars.

Great buy for a start up
At first i was weary of this speaker because it was from a brand who i didn't know, but after a few YouTube reviews I decided to test them out. After taking it out the box i mounted it on my speaker stand and connected my phones Bluetooth to it, to my surprise the quality was crystal clear (although i'm not a audiophile so i can't say for sure). Not only was the quality clear, it was loud very loud compared to my older Gemini RS-408 speakers it almost drains the sound out of the 408 completely. The sound quality over Bluetooth and RCA are both great, and the Bluetooth has a fairly decent range. The only thing i have to complain about is the bass is slightly punchy in my opinion. It isn't bad at all it just seems like it could be a little deeper but i can still feel the vibrations of my speaker on the tables, floors and chairs. My overall ratings Sound Quality: 9.5/10 Loudness (for its wattage): 10/10 Bluetooth Quality: 10/10 Bluetooth Range: 10/10 Overall Review: This speaker is great for a DJ on a budget, It defiantly gives a "bang" for a "buck". If you really are concerned about the bass, you can purchase one of there sub woofers. I can not vouch for it as i have never used it but according to the YouTube reviews it is just as good as advertised.

Best PA speakers on the internet for the price
Hands down the best deal for LOUD pa speakers. These speakers are perfect for a DJ hosting a party or even a tailgate. I bought these for personal use and not only do they sound great, but they were also louder than I expected. You will need to buy a 3.5mm male to 2 RCA female stereo cable if you plan to hook up your phone/ computer. No need to buy amps or a mixer. If you buy 2 of these speakers, the stereo cable, and an XLR microphone cable, you will have the perfect set up to host your own parties. You wont find a speaker system as loud or nice for the price. I'd buy these even if I had more to spend on a name brand.

Good bang for your buck. I am glad I got the 15 over the 12
I wanted this for a PA for presentations and some basic music around the house. The bluetooth option allows you to send music to it and it works great. Loud enough for most music, movies and definitely voice. Decent sound for the money, some distortion at high volume but I don't know if its the speaker or some from the input as well. Wheels could be a little larger diameter, stumbles on small rocks across the parking lot. I like it because I can use it like a giant bluetooth speaker in the garage, shop, barn or out in the yard.

Awesome Audio for Our Event
I used four of these to power up an outdoor celebration at a Monestary in Bhutan. There were approximately 10,000 people in attendance and these speakers made the event a huge success.

So far, it sounds pretty darn good.
Only time will tell if it will hold up, but so far it sounds pretty darn good. I use as a fold-back monitor for our drummer. We also use a sub-woofer to cover the real low end, but it produces a decent loudness to crank out enough volume to be heard. If it can last the next 3-4 months without issue, I may consider picking up another one. Definitely lighter weight than our previous Peavey monitor.

This is my second item from Rockville. I am ...
This is my second item from Rockville. I am an audiophile in sore need of an intervention. I have a speaker collection that would rival most big chain electronic stores. I had never heard of Rockville but have recently needed a couple bargain but high quality speakers. The first was a slim profile sub for my commuter car. It sounds incredible! The second was this PA for speaking engagements. I addressed 100 people out doors on this speaker. The sound projection was perfectly clear and the volume still had plenty of room to grow if needed. The carrying handle and weight of this unit is also very convenient for the size and power of this speaker. Rockville, keep doing what you are doing! Please red if this review has helped you in any way.

Clear & Loud, compares to much more expensive systems
I was totally skeptical about this unit doing so much all for $189, yet when I got it going on Bluetooth from an old iPhone 6 it rocks LOUD and CLEAR. We have a $10k home theater system with Great audio a Denon receiver 7.2 bought new at Magnolia with pro install all less than a year ago, rated at 1300 watts, and Polk Audio speakers. That system is awesome but this particular speaker sounds just as good and goes just as loud! And we have a JBL Charge 2, 2+, and 3 all awesome bluetooth speakers that sound clear. This speaker sounds just as clear and goes MUCH MUCH louder. I'm convinced now, it is a solid deal, a real no-brainer so much so I did this review and don't do many reviews. We got the 15" sub 1000w version and love it.

Wow! Blown Away by the Sound!
I've been using some 15" passive speakers for about 12 years in my DJ/karaoke business, and grew increasingly disappointed in the sound and power. So, I finally decided to check out the Rockville RPG15s on the recomendation of a fellow DJ. I used them 2 weeks ago at a wedding in a long, large hall with a high ceiling -- what is usually an acoustical nightmare for me. WOW. These speakers are putting out twice the sound and depth of my old ones. I was especially blown away by the bass. My only regret is that I wish I had checked these out sooner. I can't wait until my next gig! Tom Clark

First of all I'd like to say that this speaker is by far better ...
First of all I'd like to say that this speaker is by far better than most who are asking for a higher cost. This speaker really surprised me in terms of built and the quality of sound is produces. Some persons expect this to be a miracle speaker but I use it for my tops and I don't expect to get chest thumping bass so I use these with two subs and the sound is crazy. The volume is loud and I never clipped since I got this and the eq makes it easy to set the frequency of your desire The built is strong but I wish it had a top handle not non the less I love love love this speaker and I'm buying more!
