I mainly use these VeganBurgers as taco fillings and they taste good once you've seasoned them well. I also like the fact that they are soy-free, which is why I sought out this product to replace another meatless brand that contained soy. I have tried other flavors, such as B.B. & OHH! and the Veggie Six Mix, and taste-wise I can honestly say that I could not really tell the difference in them. I've also made some awesome veggie burgers and sandwiches with this product, too!

Actually not bad; messed it up the first time by not using hot water but when I added boiling water to make it they turned out pretty nice for gluten-free. Try it with some nutritional yeast and red pepper flakes.

I also am not a vegan. Just as my mother told me, as I get older meat bothers me. I added the boiling water. Having read that there isn't much taste, I added two slices of bread (I don't have to have gluten free either and love my Monk's bread) Then I sprinkled with Soy Sauce. I made ten "burgers" froze them over night. I can only eat one at once per meal. (every four days) So I zapped in the microwave 90 sec in a cereal bowl. Then turned onto a slice of cheese which was on another slice of bread and zapped a bit more. What I like best is the crunchy vegetables. Full meal, very satisfying.

Super easy to make and definitely better than any frozen veggie burgers out there. For that I give it 5 stars. I cooked the burgers in a nonstick skillet without oil, no problem at all. But the flavor is kinda oat-floury and bland, so I added some diced fresh jalapeño. For less mushiness, I found it better to bake on parchMent paper in the oven, rather than the skillet method.

i have tried many different burger substitutes over the years and this the best i've tried. when re-hydrating i use better than bouillon not beef for flavor. i saute minced garlic in hot filippo berio olive oil and actually blackened the garlic before searing the patty which adds a slight char flavor to mimic char broiled burger. most of the other substitutes require refrigeration this being a dry product stores well and would be great for camping.

Let me start off by saying, I'm not a vegan or vegetarian. I bought these to eat instead of ordering delivery or eating out. This is my first bag of Vegan Burger Mix. Overall, I really liked them. I would recommend making sure to eat these with buns, vegetables and condiments like mustard, ketchup etc.. The taste isn't bag but there isn't enough "punch". I ended up pouring on some Worcestershire and it added some "punch" to the mix. Word to the wise, this is a little sticky when making the patties. Which is a good thing that they stick together but sticks to everything! Also, I would recommend pan frying in olive oil on medium heat.

First... I followed the directions just as written, and waited the time for the oats to absorb the water. I thought that these patties were a little sticky. I cooked and ate them anyways, they are perfect! I am a person that hates even a little added salt and butter (taste like diner food)and I loved the floavors of this one. There are spices already added, but I tend to throw a little extra red pepper flakes. The second time I made them, I added some oats (not the instant). These patties turned out wonderful.

When I opened the bag, there was a strong pepper scent. I was a little nervous what the burgers would taste like. Making the patties was easy. When it was time to try them, they were delicious! I will definitely be buying this item again!

These taste great and are very easy to make. They are a bit mushy but I don't think that is a bad thing. A lot of the reviews complain about "bland" taste. If you are used to eating other veggie burgers and thing these taste bland, you probably just need to experiment with adding a little salt. For example, Morningstar farms burgers have more than 3x the sodium that these have. This is actually a good thing as it lets you manage your own sodium intake.
