I bought two of these Fender harmonicas. There are probably better rated harmonicas that you can buy. And they cost a great deal more. I wanted an inexpensive harmonica to carry around in my pocket for spontaneous playing opportunities, and these Fenders do a very excellent job. I could do no better. This one gets five stars!

For ten bucks, you can't beat the build quality and sound of this harmonica. It is perfect for beginners learning how to play. Not very loud, wouldn't use for performances. Came with polishing cloth and red felt lined case. We will see over time how long this holds up.

Very nice.. I wanted a "cheap" harmonica to keep in my car when I have a few minutes to play. I bought another brand and several of the holes wouldn't play and bending a note was very difficult if not impossible. I spent 3 more dollars and bought this one. All of the holes play and bending notes on almost all of the draw holes is almost effortless.

This is the first harmonica I have ever owned with the intention of learning to play the harmonica. I did some research and was worried this instrument would be difficult and frustrating to play on account how inexpensive it is. Now, I don't remember specifically any other harmonica that I have used, but this one is fun to play and not frustrating in the least. It is the nicest harmonica I have ever used, I can be certain of that. As a beginner to another beginner, this is a fine starting place for a first harmonica. I can't speak as or to a more experienced player but this is more than sufficient for my level of play.

I'm a beginner player. This harp is fun to play with. I bought 3 other low cost harmonicas for comparison. To me, the this harmonica had the best reverberation and tonal quality. BCOCOB Harmonica Key of C 10 Hole Diatonic Harmonica was a close second, followed by the Swan 10 Hole 20 Tones Harmonica, and last (yet still fun to play) Foraineam 10 Hole Diatonic Blues Harmonica.

Been playing harmonica for 20 years now. Sound is comparable to Hohner and other pricey brands. While most of my harmonicas are Lee Oscars, the few Hohners that I do have will be replaced by these Fenders. Excellent value for the price!

At age 59, I decided that I wanted to learn to play the harmonica. Not wanting to spend a bunch of money, I chose the Fender Blues Deluxe. I have been a singer my entire life, yet I don't read music that well. I watched several YouTube videos on the basics, paused them a few times while I mastered the skill and within 2 days I am now playing reasonably well. The Fender Blues Deluxe is well made and sounds great. I'm able to bend nearly every draw hole and each time I pick it up it seems more and more natural. Tonight I set a rhythm on my keyboard and took off on a improvisational journey. Maybe it's just me, but I'm finding this instrument is easy to play. I will be purchasing several more in different keys. Highly recommended, good quality product from Fender.

This is a quality piece that sounds great. I have read some negativity, but I don't get it. I bought one for a friend, then one for myself because his sounded so good. Okay, I do not play on the Opry, but I do play to live audiences. Never had a soul complain. Now, I do have more expensive harps, but I had rather play one more easily replaceable that sounds good to my ears. So what I'm saying is, this harp is cost effective, with a solid sound that only a small section of the general public could tell the difference between any of them. When all is said and done, everything is relative. For example, what is good sound? Good product, good sound, take a chance.

Bought this first but it didn't come in time so I had to buy a $50 harp to do that night's show. When I started playing them side by side I could tell the $50 harp was slightly better ... but not by much! (the $50 Fender Harp was slightly easier to overblow but the tone quality was very similar) I'll buy more of these in the future!

Nice tone, easy to navigate and do basic bends, etc. Fun gift for youngsters; instant and enthusiastic musical bedlam! For more seasoned players, this is a great choice when out and about and inspiration pounces. A lot of fun for a little green. Really like the Fender branding, too.
