Yes yes yes!!! Pros and cons

This product is simply amazing. Pros: 1. Leaves your skin naturally tan and not orange. 2. Very very fast acting. 3. Makes your skin soft after a few hours. 4. No streaks, doesnt come off after a shower or rubbing. Doesnt stain clothes. Cons: 1. Has a terrible chalky smell... 2. Leaves the webs of your feet and fingers noticeably tinted and weird looking.. All in all, buy this product because it works and it has beautiful results. Word of advice, buy the mitt and exfoliater that comes with it. In the shower, use the exfoliating mitt with soap or use a rough loofa. Dont put on lotion until later that night. Be careful with putting it on your face because it can make your cheeks kinda blotchy...

IT’S PERFECT!!!!

I really can’t put into words just how excited I am that I found this product! I’ve looked for YEARS, yes, YEARS, for a sunless tanner. I’ve had an allergic reaction to every single one I’ve used over the years. The allergic reaction would leave me with awful rashes all over my legs which would result in me wearing pants!! They were always awful orangey colors, too! So not only would I have hives and horrible rashes on my legs-they’d be orange, too! THIS PRODUCT IS A TOTAL GAME CHANGER!!!!!!!!!!!! I am officially a customer for life!!!! The cream smells great! Leaves a natural color, no streaks, didn’t need a lot of product to get quick, awesome results! I LOVE this stuff!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Especially for those with sensitive skin, like me!!!!!!!!!

Best Self Tanner and all natural!

This is the best self-tanner I've ever used. And I love that it rates the least toxic on the EWG website, which is how I discovered it. Here are the things I like about it: 1) It's thick and goes on slightly white, so you can see where you've put it--then rub it in. I love that it's not brown colored--since then you have to worry about staining your clothes/sheets. 2) It has a really nice light coconut/vanilla scent. It will turn to that typical self tanner scent after a couple hours until you wash it off. This is unavoidable, since it's the DHA that is interacting with your skin that is making that smell. But I've found it's not as strong a smell as some self tanners I've used. 3) The bronze color is very natural looking. I am very fair, and it looks really good. I actually look naturally tan with this stuff. Of course, you have to watch for ankles, hands, wrists, etc. And I haven't tried it on my face, since I use Retin A, so it would probably just get exfoliated off and look weird. Instead, I use a bronzing powder on my face. Also, my trick is to put some coconut oil on my ankles, feet, knees, elbows, underarms and hands first and then apply the self tanner. AND I also reapply the next day to get the best, most even tan. It lasts for about 4-5 days before looking a bit blotchy and faded. 4) I like that I can put it on at night and sleep with it and my sheets don't get all stained. Things I don't like: 1) It's a bit greasy feeling-especially right after you put it on and it takes a bit to "dry". 2) The self-tanner smell--but there's nothing you can do to avoid that...since anything with DHA will do that. My boyfriend said it's not that noticeable, so that's good! I hope this review was helpful! I wrote it to support the company so they will keep making it!! :-)

AMAZING!

I have very very very fair skin and I can never find a self tanning product that doesn't make me to dark or orange until I tried this one. I used it once last night and I love the results sooo much! I will be buying this again when I run out!!

The best self tanner ever!!!

I absolutely love this product and would recommend it to anyone that wants to try a self tanner. I used to use the tanning bed year round, until I got skin cancer on my face. I have tried several other brands and by far this is my absolute favorite. I love that it goes on as a lotion so you can see exactly where it needs to be rubbed in. I love that it has a very pleasant smell. I love that it doesn't stain my clothes or my sheets. I put it on at night before bed and shower and exfoliate after. The key to any self tanner is to exfoliate. I put lotion on my feet, ankles, knees and elbows before applying. I also put this product on my face, following up with moisturizer, to make sure it blends well. I have not experienced any streaking at all. You will have a very pretty glow after the first application. I apply two nights in a row. I will suggest washing your hands after applying to each body part. When I am done, I apply lotion to my hands and apply a very small amount to the tops of my hands. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! THIS SELF TANNER!

I've only been using BBE Self Tanner for a few days but I'm in love!! I followed directions (exfoliate, wash hands, avoid too much on elbows/knees, etc.) and so far I haven't had any issues. I am very fair skinned with freckles so I was worried when I read a few reviews about turning into an oomp loompa. Nobody wants to be an oompa loompa. Because of my fair skin, I used a bit of regular lotion each time I apply the tanner. I work these together in my hands and then apply on my skin (washing hands immediately after each area I am putting the lotion on). The tan has been very mild, which is exactly what I was looking for! Something that I can layer on to get the perfect shade of tan. I have not yet tried it on my face but so far I feel very confident that it will work out fine! I think using the tanner with a lotion also helps avoid streaks because you can use a minimal amount of tanner but spread it around evenly. I've had no problems with streaks at all! I'm also VERY crazy about the ingredients in products I put on my skin and try to make most of my own skin products. I was SOOOOO excited when I saw the rating on the EWG website! Whoo hoo!! I won't be a scary, white ghost year round anymore, yay!! Thank you!

Natural looking tan, no chemical smell

I am a self-tanner junkie. I have tried every brand because I love a year round summer glow. Recently I have been switching up all my beauty products to non-toxic, paraben free and it has done wonders for my skin, but it was so hard to find a good self tanner, until this one! Beauty by Earth provides a very natural tan color and pleasant smell- non of that orange skin and awful smell. My husband always used to comment on how he hated my self tanner and has not said a word since I got this one! I have been using this product since the summer and it made me seamlessly retain that glowing look- no one noticed a difference! The consistency of this product is perfect for me. It goes on white (so no stained sheets and towels!) But it is not your typical self-tan lotion consistency. It is a bit denser so you really see where the product is going and because of the thickness you really need to rub it in well- which for me the extra massaging and rubbing in just makes my tan more even. Also the thicker consistency is more moisturizing which is great for my dry skin. The smell is very light and pleasant. Reminds me a bit of cocoa butter. Nothing too perfumed so I can easily wear my everyday fragrance and it does not obscure it. I have tried it all- St. Tropez, Clarins, Tan Towel, Xen Tan, Loreal, etc. this product gives me the most natural color by far. I love that I have more control of it too. The first application gives you the perfect subtle glow but you can easily reapply the next day for a darker color and keep building day by day. If I have an event or something I will apply this everyday for a week and I look like I just got back from Ibiza! Finally, I never really write reviews but I received a very sweet email from the family that produces this product kindly requesting a review. They just seemed genuine and I love supporting local businesses. Also- love that they changed the packaging so it now comes in a tube- you get the most product out of it- way better than a pump. Natural looking tan ... and NO Breakouts !

Beautiful product with a lovely soft coconut scent. The tan develops nicely overnight as I enjoy putting it on after my evening shower before bed. My only critique is that it doesn’t spread all over for as creamy as it is. ... so I blend it with extra virgin coconut oil, especially over my knees, elbows and feet as well as wrists. This helps diffuse the cream and once the tan develops it looks more natural. Yes.... I will order again.

Great ingredients and a great product

I ordered this last week after seeing good reviews on Amazon. Right now I sporadically use a self-tanner which is liquid, is messy and smells very strong. I was surprised to see this is white and looks just like regular lotion so I wasn't sure it would work that well. I did exfoliate before using (dry-brushed) and then used a mitt to put on a coat. It dried fairly quickly and I went to bed with it on (it didn't stain my white sheets). The next day I showered right away and was surprised to see the water wasn't brown like I was used to from the tanner coming off. After showering I did feel the tan was a little too subtle for me so I put on another layer, it dried quickly, I dressed myself and went about my day. I didn't smell or have weird streaks. I actually ended up leaving it on all day and night before showering the next morning. When I dried off I saw the tan is how I like it. I will be using this again ASAP because it's been 4 days and I can use touch-up, at least on my face. I figured with a lotion-like consistency this would go fast but it barely feels like I used any so I bet I get at least 10 uses from this bottle if not more. I will be recommending this to anyone looking for a self-tanner.
