This is amazing stuff! The vinyl top of the dashboard on my 2001 Firebird was so dried-up and burned-out by the hot sun here in Arizona that I was expecting to have to repaint or replace it for sure..... it was like coarse sandpaper and had lost its color! Then I read about this product and decided to give it a try (I figured nothing to lose at this point). I am TOTALLY blown-away at what this did for the dashboard...... actually revived that old rough and dry vinyl and made it look rich and new again!!!! Hoping the effect lasts, at least for a reasonable length of time. I am adding a couple of "after" photos... unfortunately I didn't take a "before" one...... guess I really didn't have any expectation that anything could save it. May 12, 2016 UPDATE: After 6 months the dashboard still looks great! It's hard to believe that a product like this could revive the old dried-out vinyl and keep it looking so good for so long.. once again, I'm totally amazed and highly recommend this item! February 7th, 2016 UPDATE: Sorry about the date typo on the last update.... obviously should have been 2015. But I am Amazed yet again!! It's been more than one year and my dashboard still looks good! Don't know how this stuff works, but it sure does! Wish I had taken a "before" photo of the dash, but I never expected this product to be able to revive it so I didn't.

I’ve tried most of the competitors products, with mixed results. Some are impossibly slippery, slimy, or dull right out of the bottle. Others seem to leave a undesirable high gloss finish that makes the vehicle look cheap. This product seems to meet all expectations, and in most cases exceeds them. The attached photos show the before and after. The first two are the grill in front of the windshield. The left is before, it looks dry and the next one is the after. The following pictures, is of the passenger side rear view mirror. The first picture is dry the second picture is 50/50 use of the product. The last pictures show the finished mirror and a close up for a more detailed inspection. Edit 07/19/18 - attached more pics of my new 2018 f150. The grill , from the factory, looked awful. There was some white film on the honeycomb grill. You can see the effect of the 303 on a vehicle only 3 weeks old, it’s not just for weather beaten mirrors. The first 3 pics are before, next 4 are after 303. I’ve since used it on wipers, which proved to be awesome, and door moldings with equally agreeable results. Can make no claims on longevity, however, so far I feel it certainly has meet my expectations, A little more pricey than off-the-shelf products, but in my opinion worth the up charge.

this stuff is amazing. I had a melting/sticky dash known to happen to car that use non waterbased cleaners and sealants. After cleaning off the old junk with water and soap,, i sprayed 303. After a few layers... the dash was no longer sticky with melting residue... It left a nice finish that wasn't too glossy , but extremely smooth... The UV coating does keep dust away. Even tape won't stick to the dash when 303 is applied to it. will be using 303 on everything that needs UV protecting.

This has been my "go-to" dressing for interior components, door seals, and general engine bay detailing since I first read about it on a detailer's forum back in 2002. I could only find the stuff at my local boating and marine supply store (lived at the beach at that time) in 16oz bottles for the ungodly price of $12 (remember, this was 2002!). Well, I took a chance, made the purchase... and it became my secret weapon to make all plastic, rubber, and vinyl look showroom new! Now it's 2017, I don't live anywhere near a beach (it's a good thing!), Amazon now has 303 protectant available in a gallon size (!) and I'm still using it for all the aforementioned tasks. In fact, I took my 2005 Mustang convertible to a car show last spring, and many people complimented the "brand new" appearance of the engine bay materials; essentially everything is original from 2005, except the cold air intake and the manifold cover! The only thing I did to it was to generously spray 303 on all the surfaces and buff off when dry. I've revived the rubber seals and plastic trim on a friend's 1993 Mustang, as well as many other makes, years and models of cars. Detailing is a passionate hobby/sideline business for me, and I take my cleaning seriously. 303 has never let me down when I have used it in its recommended capacity to bring luster and new vigor to plastic, rubber, and vinyl surfaces. I use it on tires, too, by the way. This product leaves a nice matte/satin finish, so you will be disappointed if you're expecting a high gloss sparkle. But there are multitudes of silicone-laden slop that can make your plastic and rubber look gaudy--I mean, glossy, and the stuff will end up prematurely breaking down your plastics and rubber so you can buy replacements for them. What fun! I like my paint to be high gloss, and my trim to be satin and smooth, and 303 continues to get the job done, no matter what fancy new label is on the bottle! Buy some and see for yourself!

I wish I could give this stuff 6 stars. I found out about it from a YouTube video explaining how the guy got 100K miles out of 25K mile rated tires just by spraying the tires with this every 3 months or so. He said to use it on wiper blades too to stop the squeaking. I did that but blades still squeek a little. Maybe due to the fact that the blades are like 6 months old. I used it on some of my engine hoses and the belts. I just hope its not another Armour All kind of product. I used that way back in the 90’s and over time it did more harm than good. Don’t know if this stuff will do what the guy said until a few months have passed at least, but so far so good.

I have been using this product all plastic, rubber, vinyl and leather in my cars for about 1.5 years. I really like that it is not really shiny which helps reduce the reflection on my windshield from the dash. It also does not have a greasy feel and does not attract dust like other dressings I have used in the past. Living in Arizona, dust happens and this has kept clean better than anything else I have ever tried. Living in a hot climate, rubber quickly deteriorates so I use 303 everywhere on my vehicles, to include all of the hoses in the engine bay and door seals. I have noticed a huge difference in the way this protectant keeps whatever is applied to from drying out as opposed dressings that sit on the surface and quickly fade away. Obviously I really like the product but my only criticism is the bottle on the 32oz vs the 16oz. The plastic used for the 32oz bottle is very thin and leaks and the sprayer leaks a little when being used. The 16oz bottle was not as thin and didn't leak at all. But I like the product enough to buy a better quality sprayer and just fill that instead. After reading the negative effects that tire shine has, I started using 303 on my tires as well. With tire shine products, I would always get splatter once the vehicle was driven so I started wiping them down after the application. It helped with the splatter but always ended up with a blotchy look and were quickly covered in road grime. With 303, I still wipe the tires down after a few mins but there is no blotchiness. My tires also end up not being shiny but have a clean, deep black look much like when they were brand new. I have also noticed that it seems to clean as well. I sprayed some on my all terrain tires after car wash which see a lot of dirt road/ off road use and it seemed to pull the dirt out of the tire. When applied the liquid was milk white but after a few mins it was more of an eggnog color.

Can't believe I'm just discovering 303 Aerospace. This is just what I've been looking for to use on my tires without the oily super shine or sling like most tire dressings, gives tires a nice clean look. An added bonus is that it works great on all other plastics and the entire interior as well. I'm now a lifetime customer.

I've been using the 303 UV Protectant since I first purchased my Acura MDX back in early 2013. I use the product on all the vinyl/plastic surfaces inside and outside the car. I apply the 303 with a microfiber cloth; usually spraying on the cloth first, and then applying. This helps avoid overspray. The intense Florida sun can certainly wreak havoc on our cars, but the 303 protectant has done a great job at protecting the dark color on my dashboard and doors. Unlike some protectants that can leave a greasy, shining and reflective surface, the 303 protectant brightens up and provides depth to the plastic without the terrible "shine." Because it is a water-based product, it will last much longer on the inside of the vehicle versus the outside, where the heavy Florida rains will quickly wash it off the back bumpers and mud guards. As a "protectant" I'm very happy with how my car's dashboard has maintained it's color over the past 3 1/2 years (60K+ miles) and I attribute this to the 303 protectant. I've also been using it on my Weber Grill cover that is kept protected from the rain, but in the direct sunlight and I haven't noticed any fading on the cover like I experienced with previous covers that I didn't apply the 303. As noted earlier, if you apply it to surfaces that are exposed to rain, you will need to reapply more often. Like most Amazon shoppers, I count on honest, unbiased reviews. I hope you have found this review helpful in making your purchase decision.

I love this stuff! I hate slimy Armor All because of the slippery silicone and the fake glossy shine. 303 makes old look new, is not slimy when dry and leaves a matte finish like new interiors look from the factory. Also does an awesome job of restoring a deep rich color on interior panels. Try this on exterior trim like bumper pads, side mouldings, air dams and more. You will be shocked at the results. 24 year old factory floor mats look new and dust/light dirt doesn't stick and wipes right off. Warning... this stuff is expensive compared to other "similar" products but a little goes a long, long way. Cut a 2" cube out of a sponge and apply with this using a squirt or 2 as you go. You will be amazed at how well it covers and how little product you used. Under-hood results are AMAZING. Things like air intake ducts and filter boxes look showroom new with no lame shine, just rich deep solid color like new. Radiator shrouds look brand new. I would probably drink this stuff if I thought it would help! With such great coverage and phenomenal results, this product is a no-brainer!

If you are reading reviews pondering if you should try this or not, TRUST ME. ORDER IT. Forget everything you thought you knew about "protectants" such as Armor All, tire dressings, detailers, or basically anything else you have ever used on a vehicle or other object. I am not joking when I say you will NEVER use anything else after trying this. I keep ordering it, and will order it by the gallon till the day I die. This stuff is GOOD for your tires for example. Most dressings harm them and dry them out. This stuff simply sprayed on with no care in the world ends up making the tires look factory fresh. It will not add a greasy wet shine look. If you want that, you will have to keep looking. However, if you want your tires to basically NEVER dry rot, and to look literally as though you just got back from the tire shop with new tires every single day, this is your new best friend. If you have tires that are not used often, such as an RV or trailer, 303 will pay for itself many times over. So that's tires. Tires are expensive. If that was the only thing you could do with this stuff I would be JUST as sold. However there is so much more. Fading plastic trim? This makes it look new and black again. Interior of your vehicle roasting in the sun? Original factory 3M scotchguard turned into white chalk that NOTHING can remove? BAM like brand new in one simple application. It also STAYS that way on interiors. Period. No greasy slick feel, no dirt attraction. Just better than new looks, and UV protected into the future. I am absolutely in love with this stuff. It's incredible what it does. It pretty much pauses time going forward, and in the case of vehicle interiors even looks like it goes BACK in time. Use it on every door or window seal on your vehicle or RV. All hoses and rubber items. It does not contain silicone, it will not dry or damage anything. The only sort of negative thing is that it can be effected by water. If you put this on heavy (the way I do on tires) on a say trim on the top of your car, it may streak slightly after a rain. That said it isn't GONE from the surface, and will continue beading water long after you don't see it anymore. Buffing this stuff in (as if you were trying to remove it) using a cloth actually enhances this effect. This material never truly dries, which is why you are meant to rub it in. Do so for everything but tires. One other note; Others have mentioned keeping overspray off of the clear plastics on your gauge clusters as some have reported it leaving permanent marks or dots. I've not experienced any issues with any type of plastic. However I never spray it at surfaces in my car. I always spray a cloth and apply it evenly that way. The only thing I just blast it at is tires. I've been extra mindful of the possibility thanks to those reviews and I am simply passing that info forward. Again, buy it. Your only regret will be not buying a larger quantity of it. You WILL be back!
