Great desk that grows with your child

I have 2 of these desks, one I purchased 1.5 years ago, the second I just received yesterday. The desk we purchased 1.5 years ago is still in great shape and has worked really well for homeschooling. It is very sturdy and sometimes my husband even sits at it. We decided to get a second one for another daughter and I just put it together last night. And if I can put it together, anyone can! It took some time (30-45 minutes), but it was fairly simple. Both the desk and the chair can be adjusted in height and will grow nicely with our kids. The top was a little dirty when it arrived, but a damp cloth cleaned it right off. I would highly recommend this desk and will be buying more for my other kids when they need them.

These desks were great! We were worried about them fitting my son. He is the reason we needed adjustable desks because he grows so fast and he is almost taller than me and he is only 9. But the desk is perfect for him and there is still room for him to grow more. They are also very sturdy and perfect size. Enough room for them to do their homework and store folders but not so much room they create a mess.

I order one of these desks to try it out. After I put it together, I ordered two more. They are very adjustable. I have a short six year old, a 12 year old and a 5'7" 13 year old. Each of their desks are adjusted to fit them perfectly. They're heavy duty and great quality. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I am impressed with these desks I ordered three of them for our home school room. They are easily adjustable and will grow with our children for quite a while. They are super study! I was able to put them all three together without any issues! It took a little while and would of been easier with a drill for the top but it is defiantly doable for anyone!

Stop searching - these are sturdy, will last for YEARS, and are the best for this price point.

A desk is a desk, right? Not in this case. I needed a desk that would fit my kids for more than a year, a desk that was sturdy, and one that would have ample storage space. This desk is perfect for all that. I can sit comfortably at their desk (I'm 5'8"), and so can my husband (6'2"), yet my 6 and 9 year olds also sit comfortably with their feet touching the floor. The desk is not too tall or short, but it has adjustable height levels (I believe 3?) and the space inside is comparable to that in a student's classroom desk. I prefer the cubby-style versus the raising desktop where you have to move everything off the desk to raise the lid. The only thing we've had to do to protect the surface is get a mat for when the kids are using markers or permanent inks - I do not want the desk to be scribbled on (it's still so new!) and I am not sure how well it cleans - so I cannot offer feedback on how easy it is to remove black marker, etc. Just get a cheap plastic placemat for under a dollar somewhere and you're good to go. Definitely worth the money to make our homeschool environment more like a classroom. There are two hooks on the sides of the desk for bags, which are also convenient and enhance their quality. One thing we're trying to figure out is the metal bar that goes across the two sides - sometimes my son bumps it with his feet and it can hurt! It isn't a problem when they're wearing pants with shoes and socks, but if they're working there in shorts and bare feet, it can pack a wallop. I figure he'll just stop kicking his legs out once he realizes he keeps banging that bar every single time. I did shop around for a long time before finding these - every furniture store, kids store, and discount store offers something, but these were by far the best quality for the price. And you can't get much cheaper unless you want a teeny set that the kids will outgrow within a year or two, or don't mind thin molded plastic. These are actual school-style desks and like I said before, my husband and I can both sit at them comfortably.

Great quality and value

Great quality and value. I purchased two of these sets for my homeschool room. I have a 2 and 4 yr old and being that these are adjustable, my plan is to have them grow with them through high school. The chairs are sturdy and the desks are open faced safe and great!!

Very Sturdy, Adjustable, & Economical School-Style Desk And Chair

I bought this desk and chair set for my ten-yr-old to use for his laptop and homework. Putting it together took roughly an hour. It's very sturdy once you get it assembled. This is definitely not a flimsy desk. It doesn't wobble or lean in any way. I like the fact that both the chair and the desk are adjustable so that as my son grows, the height of the chair and/or the height of the desk can be adjusted as well. The back of the chair is not adjustable (does not tilt at all) so be aware that only the height is changeable. The seat is hard plastic, not cushioned or fabric, and the back is completely upright. (Great for posture probably, but not great for comfort.) I doubt it would be comfortable for long hours. On the plus side, if there is a food or drink spill, it will wipe clean pretty easily I think. This set is very much in the style of those classroom desks for schools. There's a cubby under the desktop. It's big enough to put books and notebooks, pens, etc in it. I'd imagine this desk would be great for homeschooling, or for homes/dorms with limited space where you want a compact desk to do homework. I priced computer desks and office chairs initially here on Amazon and couldn't find anything to match this set in terms of my needs and price range. I think it's a good bargain, and I'm pleased with my purchase.

Perfect fit for small space

Perfect little desk for limited space. We recently moved my two boys into the same room. To say we now have a lack of space is an understatement. I purchased this desk not only because my older guy needs a place to do his homework but also because it was pretty cool looking. It was a surprise, and I knew once he saw his completed room he would love it. He fell in love with this desk instantly. He likes that he can keep his books and supplies inside the desk just like at school. The desk space is large enough for him to do his homework and still has plenty of room for his other supplies. This desk was well made and easy to put together.
