Nice pit! It's actually not bad, especially for it's price point. If you see any reviews or others that have a mangled cover, it's because they put the cover on while there's a flame spewing out the top. Don't do that! keep it off until you have almost have coals, and the mesh cover will stay looking nice. I'll buy this again when I move. DOWNSIDE, BUT NOT A STAR DEDUCTION: I wish there was a hole at the bottom for water drainage, but a Uni-bit can fix that (step-bit, or a regular metal drill bit).

This fire pit was just what we were looking for! We have a small patio, and this fit great with our 4 lounge chairs. Assembly was a breeze, my husband and I had it together in about 10 minutes. It's held up for multiple uses this winter, and we are purchasing a cover to protect it from rusting and the rain. It's deep enough that even larger logs fit pretty easy, though sometimes we'd have to wait for it to burn down before replacing the screen. This is an almost identical model to the ones sold at Lowe's and Home Depot, but about $20-30 cheaper. We'd definitely buy again!

I learned an interesting lesson when shopping for a basic firepit - advertisers will state the diameter based on the largest part they can measure. I saw some others advertised as 29" diameter, but when I put a tape measure on them in the store, the actual bowl was only about 24" - the same as this one. Those had an extra outer ring that almost looked like a foot rest. So, this bowl is about 24" in actual usable diameter and it has proven to be a perfect size for a simple backyard fire pit. Even with a bag of sand in the bottom, I can carry it pretty easily and have tried a couple of different locations on my back patio. The cutouts are such that airflow is good and the flames are easily visible. This isn't something that I'll be passing on to my grand kids with the "estate", but for something that allows me to enjoy a basic fire out back on a cool evening, it does the job well.

I was pleasantly surprised that this was bigger than I imagined in my head. It didn't have any damage when it arrived. With some sand & bricks lining the bottom, my first fire was a big success. No paint peeling yet.

Nice size and good price!

Assembly was very easy, took 15 minutes. This fire pit is just right for homes in more urban areas--it is not too big. It is also very lightweight and easy to move. Perfect for roasting marshmallows and hot dogs. There was some rusting right away where the legs screwed in but that is my fault for leaving it out in the rain. All fire pits will do this unless they are made of something other than steel. I did create a homemade cover for it out of a giant black garbage bag. Perfect!

Awesome little fire pit. Can hold plenty of wood/small logs, screen helps disapate smoke, works for cooking/bon fires. Low to the ground so it WILL kill the grass (but I'm fine with that). Took maybe 30-40minutes to set up. Very straightforward. My only comment is that the fire poker comes in two pieces that you twist together. Works 99% of the time but occasionally I have to retighten/twist the pieces. P.S. the design around the outside looks very cool when a fire is going :)

Love this fire pit. Easy to set up, is wide and deep enough for big logs.

Works great, thanks for the tip in the reviews for drilling holes at the bottom to help the water drain out. It already showed a little rust so my husband picked up some high heat paint to coat it. We're happy with it.

works great - we did paint it with high heat paint before we had our first fire - after 3 fires it still looks brad new.
