I love using this in my home office for my business, MELD Design & Photography, to create my to do lists on. Why waste paper/resources when a new list needs to be made daily?!?! I applied it to an Ikea Spontan magnetic board so that I could have a magnetic chalkboard to also hold important docs or business cards next to my to do list. The decal material fits the Spontan board, side to side, perfectly if you fold the material over the edges which gives it a nice clean look. I was able to create two magnetic chalkboards because the length of the roll was perfect; I even had a small amount left at the end. Cost to create the two magnetic chalk boards was $17.97 each; perfect for creating 2- 14" x 30" magnetic chalk boards. To buy dual purpose boards at that size would cost more. I was worried it would be a shiny vinyl but it has a nice matte finish and gets nicer the more it's used... Especially after using the chalk markers on it; it's gotten an extra pretty chalkboard look now. The chalk markers do not provide any issues on the material; writes nicely and erases nicely with a wet paper towel. As usual with any sort of sticky product you have to apply carefully; it reminded me of trying to apply the clear protective screens to phones. Don't peel the entire back of but start small and work the bubbles out and peel the backing off as you go; work small portions at a time so you can work the air out and have a nice clean look in the end. There are grid lines on the back for cutting purposes which helps insure nice clean cut.

Works perfect in my home bar, very happy with purchase

Perfect chalkboard for a disorganized college student. It helped me study for my exams, and its good for leaving notes to roommates. Sticks on easily and has lasted two semesters so far with no problem.

I have seen all different types of chalk boards on my shopping trips through Amazon, but really didn't think I needed one. I just moved and downsized following the unexpected death of my husband, and somehow my canisters ( Flour, Sugar, Rice, etc...) somehow didn't make the journey😧. I bought OGGI clear acrylic canisters and decided to put chalkboard labels on them for something different and while I was at it I have a big wall in the kitchen that I hadn't figured out what to do with. In addition to the labels, I decided while I was at it to do a chalk board on the wall. This is a really good buy compared to others I saw. I didn't realize how much product there was. I read up on some of the other larger sized chalk board paper and the biggest complaint was that they were folded before packaging and when buyers open them the seams were difficult to get out when trying to apply them. Since I can't hang a picture straight, my daughter came over to help. It was great that the contact paper was on a roll so there were no creases to make application more difficult to apply. We cut two good size pieces one I plan to put notes on and the other would hold my shopping list. They applied easily and look good. There was even enough for my daughter to have a good size chalkboard for her place, all from this one roll. Really worth the price. I am glad that I picked this and recommend it

This chalkboard paper is AWESOME. I love it, BUT it took some figuring out. We had fun figuring out the best way to apply it, and then it was great. It can be used on it's own, or you can apply it to frames, or create fun borders. Using it takes a little getting used to, but after that you will love it. It wipes perfectly clean with a damp rag. Here are the tips we figured out, plus the markers we got that work perfectly with it: Do not rush. Peel a little of the backing off at a time (1-2 inches) and slowly apply. Rushing creates air bubbles, and creases that you don't want. At first we tried a plastic wallpaper tool to help smooth it, but that creased the paper too. The best thing to use is your thumbs from center outward, slowly and firmly smoothing the paper out. Your fingers will also work. Press and smooth, and then remove more of the backing and work your way down. Gently lift if you have any air bubbles that won't smooth out. If you take your time, it will apply perfectly. A second pair of hands to hold the bottom for you, if you are doing a large bit of it, or the whole thing, helps a lot. You can re-stick it, if you make a mistake, but each time you do it will make it less sticky. A couple of times is no problem. We wiped ours with a damp paper towel, worked perfectly. It does come with a cloth for that also. We created fun borders to ours with washi tape. It would also be great to apply to old frames or mirrors to create cool boards. You could really apply it to almost anything. We put it on the fridge, the back of a door, and a bedroom wall. We used Madcap Liquid Chalk Markers, also from Amazon, and they are AMAZING: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075B28P5J

I won this Summer. My kids have been getting cabin fever because of rainy weather and I pulled this out to make them a little art center. I had an old sandwich board sign and covered one side with the Kassa Chalkboard wall sticker, and the other side with the Kassa Whiteboard wall sticker Dry Erase Whiteboard Wall Sticker (6.5 ft Extra Large) 3 Dry-Erase Markers & Eraser Cloth Included - Peel and Stick White Board Contact Paper Decal Vinyl Wallpaper for Office & Home by Kassa. It was easy to cut and I was super happy that there is a grid on the back because the way the sign is I couldn't trace onto the back of the paper to cut it to size. The grid helped keep my lines straight. I put the chalk into a little cup and they get free reign of the new craft spot. Cleanup has been easy. I was worried about them being too rough and 'scratching' the wall stickers but so far so good. It's going strong and has been loved HARD by them. The kids love that they can draw all over it and I'm glad it isn't the wall, or 400 pieces of paper, like usual. :) I had some left after making the sign and used this with the Kassa chalk markers and they worked really well together. No issues with ghosting or leaving marks.

Great product! I wanted a calendar in my office to keep myself on track and organized and used this chalkboard decal. The grid on the back made cutting super simple. I had one spot where I had to move one of the decals, it came off the wall without any damage to the paint and when I repositioned it the adhesive seemed just as strong as the first application. If you're looking for a chalkboard option without wanting to paint your walls, this is definitely a great product to use.

I bought this to put on the outside of two of my kitchen cabinet doors, to label them as "trash" and "recycling" bins because some people just couldn't remember which was which. The intelligence of my family and friends is not the point of this review, though. The chalkboard sticker was easy to cut in straight lines due to the grid on the backside, and after a bit of struggle, I did manage to get them positioned on the cabinet doors. It's kind of hard to perfectly position a large piece, since when you cut it off the roll, it wants to curl back up. If you take off the paper backing, it is much less curly, but then it is really floppy and of course folds over and sticks to itself. However, after a great deal of swearing, and a tiny bit of perseverance, you can unstick it without any damage. Also, it tends to get little bubbles underneath, but if you just peel it up from the nearest corner and re-smooth the piece with the bubble, it's fine. This stuff also worked with my Cricut machine to cut out shapes, if that's the kind of thing you're into. I know this because I initially cut out recycling and trash can shapes, but my husband said they looked stupid on the cabinets, so I took them off again. This is good news for you, because I now can tell you that they don't appear to leave any residue, at least not after they've only been on there for a week or so.

I've tried other brands of this and I'm telling you Kassa is the best. It actually sticks to my wall. It wipes off better and looks nicer. I have another brand on my wall that i started with and had to use spray adhesive to get it to stay up. After I ran out, I ordered Kassa and I've never put anything on it. I'm very happy and my son's city is complete. :0)

I ordered this instead of buying chalkboard paint for my daughters room. This is fantastic. The decal sticks to a clean wall and stays. Chalk wipes off just like a normal chalkboard. I highly recommend this to anyone debating painting black chalkboard paint anywhere in the home.
