I purchased the 3.5mm to 2RCA Audio Auxiliary Stereo Y Splitter Cable along with the Amazon Dot and plugged them into a vintage pair of bi-amplified Proton 300 speakers and I almost shed a tear. Suddenly, I have all music and radio at my beckoning. I can raise and lower the volume simply by asking. The Proton speakers are epic but have been virtually unused for years. They are way better than the crappy little portable Bluetooth stuff available today. It's the best of modern technology meets the best from the badass audiophile days.

Note: All my reviews start out at 5 stars, I then deduct from there. Know too I do a “product” review, as this is what people want to know about. I do not deduct for things like packaging, shipping problems or customer service, there are other ways to express those issues and concerns. I do not deduct either because I didn’t do my homework and ordered the wrong part! Been in the sound design and engineering industry for nearly four decades and one thing I learned is not to waste my time with flimsy cheaply made products; the consequences of which you will learn very quickly. PVC assembly line crimped on products can work if you install them and leave them alone. However, if you intend to really use your equipment, spend the extra dollar or two for the longevity and dependability. My general approach to product in life is to "Get the best, for the cheapest." These were not the cheapest out there but were the best for the price. These, like all the Ugreen products seem to be, are very well made and look good too. Now make sure all your installations are neat and clean, use good products, and the outcome will look good, and sound good.

Initially gave this one star because I said one channel did not work. The seller contacted me, offered to replace it if it was truly defective, suggested I test it on another device which I did and it worked perfectly. Really nice to have that level of customer service these days. I regret my earlier rating and would add another star for customer service if that were an option. Kudos and thanks.

I've bought a few different types of wires here, and honestly most of them are cheap-feeling. I'm not sure where these are stacked for durability (I'll update if anyone is curious) but the initial build quality is very impressive. The wire is thick but very pliable, the connectors are heavy and reinforced. Most importantly, the sound that's transferred is excellent. The only downside is I would've preferred a much shorter cable (8" instead of 3') since I'm connecting desktop audio equipment that's stacked right on top of each other, but I haven't heard any interference at all. Solid buy.

These cables solved a hook up issue I had with streaming Pandora to my audio system. I now have Pandora in real high fidelity, almost comparable to CD quality. As far as these cables are concerned, they are well made and perform extremely well. Most of my other cables cost 10-15 times what these did, and with the quality of the audio I am getting hard to believe they are so inexpensive. All of the connectors are well made and the actual cable is high purity copper. Exceeded my expectations by a long shot.

I needed a 3.5mm to RCA cable to connect a microphone to the audio input of my IP security camera. The 3.5mm input jack inside the camera has very little room due to a plastic "wall" next to the jack and the previous (Monoprice) cable I bought would not even come close to fitting in the confined space. I bought this cable and it fits perfect - any larger and it would not have fit. It works great and they've made the 3.5mm plug about as small as it can probably get. It seems like it is constructed well and does not feel like cheap junk. With that said, I have no idea how it would hold up to constant plugging / unplugging due to the nature of purposely making the 3.5mm jack so it will fit in tight areas. I'm sure if you don't pull the jack out by the cable it would be fine.

I can't tell you how disappointed I was that my Honda Pilot didn't have an auxiliary plug in, except for in the back seat where the TV plugs in (so you can use a video game console back there). Then I realized I could always use this kind of plug in to get the same effect. It works! The cord is long enough to stretch from the back of the center console to the front of my car so I can access my phone.

This quality cable works perfect to stream Pandora from my Samsung phone (sorry Apple worms!) to my home receiver. I must emphasize that these RCA jacks have the perfect amount of contraction to firmly grip the female RCA inputs without the insanely, over obsessive, guaranteed-to-break grip that other brands have. These cables can be easily inserted and removed repeatedly with ease while providing a solid connection. Excellent sound quality, zero static, and zero complaints. Highly recommend!

I wanted to transfer old, home-recorded audio tape cassettes to my computer, for editing, listening (in the iTunes library), and burning to CD. There were instructions, on youtube, that showed what cable to use. This cable was rated a higher quality than another here, by Amazon reviewers. Although my setup only required a foot of cable length, I went by the adage: it's better to have more and not need it, than to not have it and need it. It was easy to roll up the extra length and secure with a Velcro wrap tie. Besides, I would disconnect the cable when finished, until my next project. You still must have a program to import the audio into the computer, and I downloaded Audacity for that. So this cable was just what I needed!

I bought this item to use with my laptop and android phone. I have a pair of Fostex PMO.4 mini powered monitors that I listen to after I download my music lower the volume in it and change the hertz from 41 to 48 mp3 or 96 wave; anyway some times I like to sit on my porch bring the speakers out and relax. So I needed something durable and with good insulation to withstand the riggers of being frequently used. Also as a professional DJ it helps if I have a small gig and don't need a whole set up. With 10 feet of length this is just what I needed and the quality is as good as those over priced name brands that break your pocket. I love this cable it does exactly what it is advertised to do and that's more than good enough for me. UGREEN your good with me!
