Great label maker, and labels go through dishwasher (at least for 2 weeks)
Had my doubts - every one of these label makers seems to have an issue of some sort at some point within the first few months. Granted, we've only been using it for a couple of weeks, but that's already better than the Dymo that wouldn't work straight out of the box. Easy to use, great printing, and setting the margins correctly not a lot of wasted tape. I'm using this mainly to label my kiddo's daycare cups and food containers, and so far the labels have held up to multiple dishwasher cycles (top and bottom racks). Figure for the price of the unit I'm going to start labeling everything my son owns. Luckily, the font and border choices are varied enough that they'll look decently cute/not annoying.

TERRIFIC, EASY-TO-USE, BEAUTIFUL LABEL MAKER!
What a nice, easy-to-use label maker! Within 10 minutes of opening the box, I made some labels! There are many advanced features for people who need/want them, and a wonderful instruction booklet with pictures of what buttons to press in order to use those features. I love that the label maker plugs in, so I don't have to be bothered with batteries. The buttons are big, easy to read, easy to use. There are many font choices, size choices, even sample labels that you can use as formats. The tapes just pop into the label maker - no threading or anything required. I plan to use mine for scrapbooking and making labels for my pantry. I love it!!

Excellent quality and easy to use.
This is a great label maker. It prints fast and with excellent quality. It is easy to use. I have printed all sorts of labels and haven't even looked at the instruction manual yet. You can vary the font and font size. It comes with white tape. I bought an extra cartridge of clear tape because I like that look better on electronics (I label my laptops, iPads, etc., with my information and date purchased). I like that I can plug it in and not worry about batteries.

Wonderful for creating spine labels for my books
I used the sample cartridge to experiment and still had enough to do a bunch of labels. The cure for too-much-white-space on each end of the label is to put it into 'chain' mode. (I don't have the manual with me, so I can't tell you what page explains how to get it into that mode.) There will be white space at the beginning and end of the chain, but hardly any in between each label. It asks you after each label is printed if you want to advance the tape so that it can be cut. I printed 10 labels in a row with minimal white in between. Perfect. Keyboard makes creating the labels so quick, printing is almost instant, the AC adapter means I won't ever have to fool with batteries, and the manual explains everything very well, making it easy for me to jump in and start creating labels immediately. At the moment, I'm using them for spine labels on books, so I mostly did 2 lines. Big numbers and letters. I also used the 4-line setting when I had very thin books: small numbers & letters but very clear and readable. Auto-font chooses the largest font that will fit, depending on the number of lines needed. I easily changed the font size down when I needed the letters to fit onto a smaller space. When I'm done with the books, I will try address labels and labels for the drawers and boxes that hold supplies for all my other hobbies. I've not had any trouble with it, so I can't say how helpful customer support is...and that's good!

Awesome Label Maker!
Awesome! I just got this today, and I love it! It arrived two days after I ordered it, thanks to having Amazon Prime! As soon as I opened it, I was ready to make labels. There is so much that you can do with it. It really makes it simple. Of course at first I had to use the instruction manual to figure out all of the cool stuff, but after trying it once it is really easy. You can safe labels, change the size of the text and the style. I am still using the tape that came with it, but I have also purchased a wider tape so that I can type up to 5 lines. The tape is wonderful, and easy to peal the backing off since they split the backing for you. This is really easy to use and I recommend it. The only bad thing is, I have run out of things to label, well, in this room any way! LOL!

If you like to be organized get one you won't regret it.
I have been using it to label everything at home, school, office, etc. Now when I reach the AC outlets I know that I am pulling the right cable (there is a label on it). If you have phones, tablets, game toys, you know that you have accumulated a bunch of chargers and cables. Now I have labels for each and every one. No more fights with the kids finding their chargers. At the office when people borrow stuff now it gets returned, if not I know who has my stuff. The variety of Fonts, colors, images, and label sizes makes it easy to be creative and even artistic to create a one of a kind label that will separate your property from the rest. The labels are durable, I have one on a coffee mug that is hand washed with soap and hot water an is still there after years. I have place labels on tools and gear that are exposed to the outside (rain, snow, etc.) and the glue holds well. Yet if you want to remove the label is not difficult to peel it off.

Still Learning
I bought this item and the refillable tape to help with organizing home with labels. The picture above shows how I used the label maker to mark the type of light bulbs I am storing in my laundry room. I have also used it for file folder labels in my filing cabinet. What I am still learning is to regulate the size...without wasting the tape trying to get it right. As an example, in the picture above the letters are much larger than I expected or desired, but didn't want to waste the tape. And, the filing folder labels turned out too small to read from a distance. So, there is some learning going on until I perfect them...in the meantime, I am writing down the settings so I know what to do and what not to do.

Very nice labels!
I love making labels and this unit comes with it's own power adapter so I no longer have to worry about going through so many batteries! However, I really like that the battery option is still there if I ever have a need to be mobile with the unit. It's so simple to use the basics that I haven't even read the instructions and was able to start making labels. Now, I'm sure i'll need them what I want to do all the fancy things, but right now, I am labelling all of my power supplies so I know which cord goes to what rechargeable thing especially when the majority of them seem to have the same ends.

Wife loves it so far
Enjoying this tool at home. Wife has labeled all of her OXO containers in the pantry. Not only is everything compact and well organized but the flexible font sizing and tape usable make identifying containers behind containers a bit easier now (example, container is back might be taller but has less product than the one in front of it making it impossible to 'see' what is actually in the rear placed container but the labeltape still stands up there in clear view). I little pricey in the end but this one at least is meeting our needs. Being able type-it-once and then print 'x' copies is useful for gift labels too
