• IMPORTANT: 1. It might be pretty tight fit when you just receive the case. After putting the Paperrwhite in and out a couple of times, it will loose up and fit perfectly. 2. The top of the Paperwhite goes into the case first. The side with the on/off button stays at the opening of the case. See Picture for the correct direction to put in the Kindle.

As the thinnest and lightest Kindle ever, I find that the Voyage is also the most comfortable to hold "naked" when reading, and I really prefer it to my Paperwhite. So in choosing a case, I wanted one that added the least bulk and weight possible, while still being protective, and which would allow me to easily use the Voyage without a case. If you share those same priorities, then look no further than the Bear Motion Slim Sleeve Case for Voyage. Weighing just 1.3 ounces, and barely bigger (seriously!) than the Voyage itself, It would be hard to imagine a case either lighter or more svelte than this one. The warning on the product page is exactly right: the first time you insert the Voyage into the sleeve, the fit is so tight that I had a hard time getting it out. But, per that same warning, once you slip it in and out just a couple of times, the fit becomes perfect--neither too loose nor too tight. At this price point, of course, you get synthetic leather, but the grade used for this sleeve is better than I expected. The finish is more matte than shiny, the embossed grain pattern is nicely understated, and while it doesn't quite have the feel of real leather, it's not bad at all! The edge stitching and overall fit and finish seems to be of reasonably high quality. In fact, the only way to improve this case would be to make it from a high-quality natural leather. That would be a higher price point of course, but I do hope Bear Motion will consider it. In the meantime, this is a five star sleeve and is my new, go-to case for my Kindle Voyage. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, and I hope you find it helpful in making a buying decision.

Everybody keeps telling me how cute this sleeve is, and it really is. I've posted pictures. one of them is shown with my cell phone which is a Samsung galaxy S5. The picture with the cell phone lacks a case, but you can absolutely use it with a case.. it'll fit a bit snug but it works. I've noticed that when I first got the sleeve didn't fit very well (the cell phone with the case) you kind of have to beat it in and then it fits great.

When I was looking at a new Kindle at an Amazon store a while back I realized how light Kindles are without cases. So when my Kindle case cracked, I looked for a sleeve instead of another case. I have a similar Bear Motion sleeve for my Fire which is holding up nicely, so I was happy to see that they make Kindle-sized sleeves as well. While it does take a few days of leaving the Kindle in the sleeve overnight and repeatedly taking it out/putting it back in to get the sleeve to loosen, the resulting snugness is a good compromise between being easy to remove the Kindle and having the Kindle be secure in the sleeve. If this sleeve is anything like the one I have for my Fire, I expect it will hold up pretty well to my daily commute. The quality of the sleeve out of the package is amazing at this price. It’s obviously not real leather, but it does look much nicer than what I paid for it. I should add that I have the 2015 Kindle (Paperwhite 2, which I guess is now being called the 6th gen Kindle) which is about 20% thicker than the newest “waterproof” Kindle but otherwise the same dimensions. I’d expect that it would be a bit easier to break the sleeve in if you have that new Kindle. EDIT, JULY 2019: I took the plunge and got the new waterproof Kindle Paperwhite. True to my expectations, the new Paperwhite is a little easier to put in/pull out, while the sleeve still holds it securely. The sleeve itself is handling its daily use well.

Fits like a glove. Has a soft liner so it won't scratch your Kindle. It's very lightweight which makes it quite portable and not a burden. Mine smells like fake leather I suppose, not overwhelming at all. Edit- almost 2 months later and I don't regret buying this at all. It has loosened up some so it's a little easier to slide the Kindle in and out but it's secure enough to keep the Kindle in without issues. Just make sure you don't put the Kindle in backwards like I did the first time or it is a pain to get out (the Kindle logo should be showing out of the cutout at the bottom).

I am very happy with this Kindle holder. Not only am I confident that it will be protected when I take it with me in a tote bag, or handbag, but it also has a pocket for my IPhone which is snug and secure. The two button and string closure secures it and it cannot fall out of slip out of the case. Some Kindle holders don't seem to stay closed and one has to be careful in its placement in their bags or briefcases. No such concern with this one. The price is very very reasonable, and I am happy that I chose this case.

Great sleeve for my Kindle Paperwhite. It is well made, and the weight is almost negligible. I like the organic look of the gray felt compared to the techie-nature of the Kindle. Word of warning: If you find that your Kindle sticks out a little at the top of the sleeve, try checking that there is nothing inside the sleeve. When I got mine, I didn't realize that an extra set of string (for the button) was included inside, and was causing the problem :) EDIT: After a few months of use, one of the buttons came off, and then the string snapped. I can re-sew the button and fix the string (the company does include an extra for that reason, I suppose). For the price I paid, I do not mind too much, but it is something to be aware of.

I was looking for a case to keep my Kindle Paperwhite in because it was collecting dust when I left it out and also wanted to protect it when I threw it in my bag. I looked at the different cases that fold over, but they all seemed bulky. I like holding the kindle bare because of its size and lightness. The Bear Motion Slim Sleeve was exactly what I was looking for, as it protects the device when I'm not using it, but get to use the Kindle without with bulk while reading. It has a perfect, snug fit that allows the Kindle to be put in easily, but won't slip out. It has a felt lining that seems to be gentle on the device without scratching it. I've only had it for a few days, so I can't comment on long term integrity of the product, but it does seem high quality PROS: - slim, no bulk - excellent fit (snug, will not fall out) - nice looking (at least the black version) - good quality - good protection - can charge Kindle while in case CONS: - not integrated with device (doesn't connect to it like flip covers) - so can be potentially lost - a bit of a pull to take out Kindle (due to snug fit)

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a simple, light slipcase that protects my new Kindle Paperwhite (purchased July 2017) but doesn't open up like a book or have extra pockets for pens & notes. This elegant sleeve fits my Kindle perfectly, so it does't take any extra space in my purse or pocket. The outside is smooth, so it's easy to pull it in & out of pockets or purse. It's padded without extra bulk, & the soft interior really protects the Kindle. As the product description notes, it's slightly stiff at first, but after a few ins & outs, my Kindle slips in easily but snugly & doesn't fall out. The notch at the case's top makes it easy to pull out the Kindle when I'm ready. I chose the brown, which is easy to spot inside my dark purse. It's UP leather, so I don't know how long it will last, but it's got nice even stitching just like high-quality leather goods. Well-made product at an excellent price.

This was the perfect (and only--at the time) "envelope" case for my Kindle--I really love the way it looks with the grey felt against the brown buttons and it provides great cushioning protection without taking up too much room--though the buttons do get caught on things sometimes. I've noticed that as I've used it more that the buttons have moved closer together, so now they're almost on top of one another--doesn't bother me, but it does mean that the felt has stretched just a bit. The extra pocket doesn't hold much--I would only use it for cards or money. I've put a phone in there before and I didn't like how bulky it was, but it's possible (esp. if your phone is thinner than my iPhone 4) Another reviewer mentioned that the leather cord that you wrap around the buttons fell off after a few days, and I could see when I got it that it was only loosely tied around one of the buttons, and it did come untied after a while (a few weeks for me) but I just tied it back on and it's fine. I'm not sure why that should be an issue.

This was exactly what I was looking for. It is a nice sleeve that protects my kindle without adding any bulk to the kindle itself when using it. It even has two exra pockets for a cell phone (galaxy s3 fit just fine) and maybe a charging cable or other small item. It is well made and seems like it will last for a while. Great deal for the price!
