• An eye shadow primer that ensures maximum pigmentation, increased longevity, and turns any eye shadow waterproof
  • Great for hot and humid summer days, lounging at the beach or a long night out
  • Apply a thin layer to bare lids. Let the primer set for a minute or two before applying eye shadow

Good lord, this stuff is awesome. And I got it on sale! But it's worth it full price too. Texture is lotion-like, a bit goes a long way. It might seem tinted in the tube but it dries completely clear. You can't see it on. It does not show at all with any eyeshadow. It is 100% friction and water-proof. Unless you're using make up remover or soap it will not budge. Make sure to blend judiciously. The tube is bigger than expected (has more product than other brands of a similar price range and lesser quality). I will for sure buy it again.

I really, really, really like this product! I'm not a serious makeup wearer, but I do like to wear really bright eye shadow. I have pretty greasy skin, so often my eye shadow has gotten in the creases or faded by lunch. This product is a nice layer to have below the shadow, and it does not feel heavy or sticky. It does slightly burn if you get it in your eyes, but with more careful application, it's not a big deal. I will definitely keep using the product. Here is a quick update: the description of this item says it is colorless. However, it is in fact the color of white, non-Hispanic or light asian skin. If you are a person of color, this will show on your skin.

I used to buy really expensive eyeshadow primer. However, I decided to try something new. I saw this on Amazon and thought I would try it. I love this product! Goes on the eyelid no problem (I put a few dots on my lids with the applicator and spread out with my finger). For a minute it feels a tiny bit sticky, then it dries, literally feels like nothing is on there and I don't see any difference in a 'color' that it leaves behind, maybe a little bit of a nude color, but barely any. I use an eyeliner mostly, so I put the liner on and it goes on nicely. After testing it for a day, my liner has not moved. Looks like I just put it on. If I didn't use primer, my lids get oily and the liner fades throughout the day. Then I look terrible and just rub it off with my fingers. I think my other primers (that were way too expensive) are very similar to this one. I will continue to buy NYX eyeshadow primer moving forward. I just wish there was a bigger bottle of this stuff. It's too small. If they had one, I'd buy that one too. Love it!

This stuff is bullet proof! Much like the Elizabeth Mott "Thank Me Later" lid primer, but this is less expensive. I have super oily lids. Always have. And this NYX product is solid.... my eyeshadow lasts all day. Highly recommend!

This stuff is amazing. I'm glad I took a chance on it rather than spending twice as much on the high end products. I applied a very sparkly eye-shadow knowing I would be outside in the heat and probably sweating. My eye-shadow stayed exactly where I put it, for over eight hours. This stuff is awesome - I would highly recommend it!!

I have very oily skin, especially eyelids and I struggle with finding something easy and simple that will make my eye makeup stay strong all day long! This definitely does! I routinely have 15-16 hour days even going to the gym after work and this keeps my eyes going strong! My new go to primer, I am definitely ordering this again! Thank you NYX!!

I will admit that I have never used the UD primer. But, why would I? This costs a fraction of UD product and my eyeshadow does NOT move. You do need to base out your eyelid with a light color if you want to blend well, but I can live with that.

I purchased Proof It! on the basis of all the positive reviews. I have tried countless eyeshadow primers, from Urban Decay to Maybelline. None were particularly effective. Despite my overall dry skin, I have the dubious gift of oily lids. Even the highest rated shadows, liners and mascaras would wear off in a few hours. So with a slick of this clear, kind of gooey gel across my eyelid, those shadows, liners and mascaras now stay put for a good ten hours. I can get through an entire day at work with this stuff in place. Proof It! takes a bit of getting used to, in that it takes a few minutes to dry and set. Even after, my lids feel somewhat sticky. But it works, and I am happy.

Picture it. Blue hair on point, slightly twisted to give the false idea that my waves are natural. A dark lip, maybe a deep brown or slate. Eyeshadow, liner and mascara so dark and thick that I can barely even see. A light dust of shimmer on my cheekbones and nose, to give the illusion that I just stepped out of a Sarah J. Maas novel. My Eyebrows - BLACK. Sculpted to PERFECTION with eyeshadow (I said it, don't you dare judge me) to give the perfect arch and look of boredom and anger, all in one. Until rain starts coming down and my face starts falling off, starting with my eyebrows, and scares the living s**t out of anyone in a 5 mile radius of me. Goodbye goth fairy, hello ghost creature of the night that resembles Gollum WAY too closely. Lucky for me. I bought this big GEM of a primer. I just slide a little on each brown before foundation and BAM! I now have to scrub my brows off my face, and it never felt so good!

This stuff is pretty darn impressive. I've only used it twice now, though- once to test it as a swatch on my hand with Morphe brand eyeshadow used over top (withstood handwashing, and stayed on without smudging overnight, removed almost completely with micellar water) and again to do a trial run of wedding makeup. I took this picture after something like 10 hours of wear (the makeup itself is not the greatest and my eyelids themselves aren't smooth in this picture but the shadow has stayed put without creasing, and luckily this isn't a review of my (lack of) makeup or photography skills... so... don't judge me!)
