Best mattress ever!
Contemplated getting this for 6 months before buying. Effortless set up, and I have been getting some of the best sleep I have gotten in years.

Comfort
So comfortable to sleep on. Husbands a back sleeper I’m a side sleeper. We both have hip & shoulder pain. The Casper king bed is supportive yet soft enough to cradle the body without sinking into the bed. Awesome nights sleep. Glad I did my research for months before deciding on this winner!!!

Great mattress for an even better prise
My wife and I have been using this mattress for about 6 weeks now and love it. We replaced a 10 year old traditional mattress and I was not relishing spending three grand or more on another mattress. So we took a chance on this mattress and it is great. We were already using a 2" memory foam topper on the old mattress so we went ahead and put it on this one. Makes it softer if that is what you like. Not sure it needed it, but we had it so we use it. I hope to get many years of good sleep from this mattress.

Highly recommend this bed!
We are so pleased with this bed! We originally bought the Tuft & Needle bed, but while it seemed well made, it was much, much too firm for us. We took advantage of the money back guarantee and received a full refund from Amazon. At that point, we purchased the Casper. It to is a firm bed with lots of support, but has enough softness on the surface to eliminate pressure points. This is important for my girlfriend, who has Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. Since buying this bed three months ago, she has not woken up in pain a single time.

Quantitative Proof I Sleep Better on a Casper - Ruined my Sex Life
First I feel obligated to write this review because I saw that all of the top reviews on Amazon were all negative and I just can't understand how that is the case. I understand different people have different preferences, and maybe that is the case here, but I was surprised to see this. My wife and I have always loved memory foam mattresses to begin with. We love how they contour around your body and give you that "hug" feeling. Before a Casper we owned a memory foam mattress made by Serta that was sold at Sams Club. The queen size was approx. $400. We liked it, but it definitely got hot at times like the "typical" memory foam mattress. We moved and decided we wanted to upgrade to a King mattress and started shopping. We decided on a Casper based on many reviews I had read and also comparison done by sleepopolis of the various online mattresses like Tuft and Needle, Purple, and the likes. My top two choices were between Tuft and Needle and Casper. Tuft and Needle was cheaper but it also seemed like it was a cheaper mattress, it only had two different foam layers, the top layer and the base layer. The Casper had 5 different types of foam and looked like a higher quality product (photos on sleepopolis). Both had 100 night trials so I figured I'd start with one and try the other if I didn't like it. We bought Casper on a lightning deal on Amazon for $899 King size, which is a steal about 3 months ago! Once it was delivered we put it out on our platform bed base and let it rise, it did not seem to take very long, a day at most, for it to be full size. The cover is removable and very soft and comfortable. First thing I noticed is this memory foam mattress had a lot more bounce to it than my last mattress, but still had the contouring effect that we like. I hardly noticed a bad smell, and I have very good smell/taste senses. Any smell that was there was gone within a day or two. The mattress definitely keeps you cool and I have never felt hot on it once. I would give the mattress an overall soft feel but still with firm support from the base layers. It is extremely comfortable. Make sure not to use a waterproof mattress cover because this bed has breathable foam and when you cover it with a mattress cover like that it seemed to ruin the softness and breath-ability of the mattress as a whole because not matter how "breathable" a waterproof mattress protector is, it still cannot move air through it the way this mattress was designed to work. We stuck with just the cover that is on it with a fitted sheet. My wife has lupus and that means her joints and muscles can hurt a lot as if she had run a marathon from just daily life. My wife has told me that at night all that pain goes away and when she wakes up after sleeping on this mattress she feels rejuvenated and ready for another day. I am not exaggerating. I have noticed a difference in her frequency and severity of comments about pain, they have both lessened significantly. I also have lower back pain, but this mattress helps relieve it, not create it. I wake up with no pain in my back whatsoever when sleeping on this mattress and I sleep on side, stomach, and back. I feel that at all times I am supported and my spine is aligned. Now for the quantitative proof. I have a fitbit that tracks my sleep. It does this through heart rate monitoring. It tracks how much time you spend in each phase of sleep from awake, light, REM, and deep sleep. With my previous mattress I would get around 14% deep sleep and I would be awake about 18%. I have slept on this mattress for 3 months, and now my average deep sleep has increased to 18% (sometimes getting as high as 22%) and my awake has decreased to 14% (with lows in the 10%). This means I am spending less time consciously or unconsciously awake and more time in deep sleep on a Casper mattress. Most the time, if you are tossing and turning it is because there are pressure points on your body where you are laying and you are moving to a new position because that pressure was too much and began to be uncomfortable and so you move to alleviate it. There are nights I go to bed and basically don't move from the position I fell asleep in because that pressure is being relived by the mattress and you really do feel like you are just sleeping on a cloud. I know that sounds cliche but there is no better way to explain it. We joke about how this bed ruined our sex life because it is so comfortable and inviting that when you lay down on it, you instantly want to fall asleep, causing us to miss out on other activities. A few complaints. Because the mattress comes rolled and compressed in a box, when unfolding and allowing to come to full size, I did have to adjust the cover and the corners were a bit squished on one side (the inner side of the compressed rolled up mattress) almost to deformity, but they have since recovered, but this took weeks to occur. The mattress is breathable and the latexy foam on the top does transfer a bit of motion only when one person is laying down already, and another gets onto the bed, you get a very slight feel of the bed "adjusting" to both of you, almost like an air mattress, but a lot less aggressive. Once the person is on the bed though, normal movements at night like rolling over and stuff cannot be felt between companions. Overall we are very happy with our purchase and will be keeping it. We love this mattress. I am honestly confused with these negative reviews because we love it so much. Just try it for yourself, you have nothing to lose, they will come pick it up within 100 nights if you don't like it, and yes the warranty period does apply to Amazon purchases, my current purchase says it is still eligible for return until Oct 13 2018 and I received it July 5, exactly 100 days after it was delivered.

HOLY MOLY
Holy moly. I cannot believe how good this mattress is. I honestly didn't want to get out of bed today for an hour, and I'm on week 2 of this mattress. I've had a Bob-O-Pedic memory foam mattress for the past 10 years, and have loved it, but the Casper improves on a purely memory foam mattress in a two big ways: 1.) It sleeps so much cooler: my wife sleeps with me, and is a furnace in bed. I always thought it was just a problem that couldn't be solved, but the Casper makes this a non-issue. 2.) It hugs me more: I honestly think it's a tad bit more supportive. The whole mattress feels like a supportive cloud. Overall. So glad that the hype is real, and Casper's customer service makes it a super win for me. I actually just bought their sheets and am salivating thinking about going to bed tonight.

Can't Say Enough
After spending 2 years on a "free" memory foam mattress I got from a friend who was moving out of town, I decided that I'd had enough of tossing and turning, waking up tired and in pain. This Casper mattress was delivered on time, set up in a snap, and on the very first night I actually slept through without waking up. I had a couple of questions that I texted to the company, which were immediately answered. I have arthritic hips. And while this mattress is very supportive, it "gives" at those pressure points. For this reason, I am not having to turn over a lot to relieve the pressure on my hips. I'm not getting out of bed in the morning sore and hobbling. No more waking up! No more fatigue. No more having to nap to fill up my sleep tank. Best of all, I had the assurance of the 100-day no-hassle return policy.

Definitely an upgrade to our cheaper mem foam mattress
So far so good. I'll try to update after a while since these early reviews are pretty pointless. I will say it instantly expanded to full size, had very little smell, and we waited 2 days to sleep on it to be safe. We have slept on a cheaper (Sleep Innovations) memory foam mattress since 2011 and it was time for something new. So we're used to firm, and had 0 trouble getting used to the Casper. From night one we've slept better and I find the firmness perfect if not ever so slightly too soft. It's this teeny tiny bit of too soft that has me wanting to update this review in a few months to see if it gets worse.

Try the Casper mattress for a better night's sleep
After three nights, we are sold on this Casper mattress. It could not have been easier to unbox and set up. It did not have any odor. It plumped up almost immediately. I lay down to test it out and almost fell asleep! We put it on our existing queen size box spring and it fit perfectly. It is our first memory foam mattress and I was concerned that I might sink in too far or that it would be hot. You do not sink into the mattress at all; it just relieves the natural pressure points. It is no hotter that the inner spring mattress we replaced. I believe the great result is attributable to the multiple layers and all the research that the inventors have done. The best part is that I am not waking up every hour like I was on the old mattress. Note: the delivery was a day past the guaranteed delivery date, but I won't hold that against the mattress. Also, it is a busy time of year for shipping.

Works for me
Unfortunately everyone’s needs are very different. What’s soft to some feels firm to others so it’s hard to rely on opinions. For me the Casper is my perfect fit. Soft enough to almost have that memory foam feel but firm enough to support. It is good for breath ability. Cooling is a bit of a myth. What I’ve found is mattress are described as cooling when the better description is how well it breathes to disperse your body temperature rather than trap it underneath you. This fits the bill for me. I do sleep cooler and can only compare to my old Serta memory foam and the purple mattress . The purple mattress is advised as a cool mattress as well. It didn’t work for me. It felt hot and too firm for me. Back to the Casper, the trial period is a great feature and you should take advantage of this option to know for sure . That’s how I ended up with Casper. I tried the purple mattress first and hated it. The happy accident is that my wife and I have an independent adjustable king frame which equates to 2 twin xls. My wife ended up liking the purple mattress and didn’t need to return it. That just goes to show you that you will definitely have to judge for yourself. These reviews are very helpful to hear what people are saying but you just can’t describe each individuals needs. Again, take advantage of the return policy and be diligent until you can sleep comfortably. Try Casper, Purple or whatever ones seem to fit your needs and be prepared to return them if necessary to try another. In the end you will be happy you did
