I was not pleased with the idea of shelling out nearly $30 for a bottle of detangler spray. As a widowed dad of an 8 year old girl with, as she describes, "long and luscious" hair, I needed help. It was so ratty and so tangled. I would brush it in the morning and by the time she had put on her jacket, it was ratted. When she rested her hair on a pillow, instant tangles. It was heartbreaking to hear her whimper as I brushed out her hair, knowing it was tugging sharply on her scalp. Being cheap, I tried all the cheap stuff. Sprays, creams, oils...I kept telling her we should just cut her hair, which mortified her. Finally I crumbled and ordered this outrageously expensive spray that was probably going to be just like the rest. I take it all back! This stuff is gold, pure gold. A half dozen squirts in the morning and a few brush strokes leaves her hair tangle-free all day. ALL DAY. This is worth every penny!

you have saved my life! and my daughters sanity! I have tried all else (most of which didnt work and broke her out, not to mention smelled like barf) then I came across a blog online (cant remember her name) and she mentioned this product (along with a pointer to dilute 1-3 with water in a spritz bottle for mild tangles) and my life has never been the same. my daughters hair tangles like I have never seen before... she rubs her head on everything fabric (pillows, blankets etc) and her hair turns into literal mats right before our eyes, short of cutting them off (which I had resulted to doing from time to time) hair had become a source of contention, all the false claims for products and brushes that failed to produce anything more than more pain and allergic reactions... I had all but given up to a buzz cut... my daughter, her hair, and everyone in this house is so thankful for an honest product that works above and beyond! expensive but well worth it! and a little goes a long way (I use full strength as a mostly leave in conditioner at bath, and diluted in a spray bottle roughly 3 parts water for further tangles dry... sorry for the long review, will buy again and again and again! p.s. those who remember Nexxus Humectress from the 80's this is similar but way better :)

My new favorite!

I have fine, very long hair. The type of hair that tangles the moment you are done brushing it. I dread combing my hair when it's wet, because it's exhausting. I've used BioSilk in the past & liked it, but THIS detangler is by far the best one I've ever tried. I sprayed a couple squirts into my hands & then rubbed it throughout my hair. I use a Bass wooden detangling brush (with bamboo bristles), and was immediately amazed at how easily the brush glided through my hair. I noticed a lot less hair loss than before. As someone who seriously struggles with tangles, I highly recommend this product. It smells nice too. Not overwhelming at all.

Works the best and smells great!

I’ve tried a few detangling sprays and this is by far my favorite. I first bought it at a kids hair cutting salon and it made it so much easier for me to comb my daughter’s hair. A few sprays after she gets out of the bath, wait a few minutes and then comb with a wide tooth comb for the best results. It also smells really good. I use this on my hair too!

The only one that tames my child's super thick, wavy hair!

This is a very rich, emolient hair de-tangler and moisturizer! My 11-year old has the thickest and tangli-est hair I have ever seen! This helps to make comb outs better and easier, and seems to help fight tangles during the day as well. One note: it doesn't work so well on my other kiddo with thinner and very curly hair - weighs done a bit too much. But this one is perfect for calming the other's thick, thick, hair.

Really helps with tangles!

I have waist long "Hawaiian" hair. That means frizzy. So many products end up being too greasy if they work. This product helps with all my tangles and smells great. Noticed it for the first time when I was visiting a great niece and her hair smelled sooooo good. Not just for kiddos!!!!!!

I'd give it 6 stars if I could!

Our daughter is 6, and she has beautiful wheat-white soft hair... but since she was about 2, it's been a fight to keep the tangles down! I'd tried many different products, but this is by far the winner. It's really thick, so I was told by the salon that sold me our first bottle to dilute it if I wanted, and that has worked just great too. A bottle lasted us 7 months. The amount of tears and strife this stuff has saved us... wow!

Seriously the best product EVER!!!

We have loved this product for years!!! We aren't super fans of the spray mechanism, but the product gets the job done. It's a little like lotion, kind of thick, and a little weird at first, but once you get the hang of it and actually get the brush through your kids hair (that you never thought possible) you will be so happy. The product lasts a long time because it's so thick. Way worth the money. And it doesn't even have gross chemicals that give you cancer!!! BONUS!

Love this Detangler

Love, love, love this product. I've been using this for a few years now in my daughter's hair. It smells terrific and it works beautifully. I personally feel that the smaller spray bottles work better, are easier to manage and spray less product, so you're not wasting it. I try to usually purchase the large size to refill smaller spray bottles. I'm literally never without this. Love it!
