It really does stick things well. I use it to put merit badges on my scout's sash. I also use it to adhere patches to the official uniform shirt, and haven't had the need to sew anything on. Have put the garment I used it for through the washer and dryer several times, and the patches stay stuck right in place! Had to remove a patch, which was a pain in the butt. Had to use "goo gone" (as is recommended by the makers of badge Magic.) Even with Goo gone, it was difficult to get the patch removed. I know when I put on a patch with this stuff, it is going to stay until I take it off.

I have 3 daughters in Girl Scouts, which means there are a lot of patches in my life. Those lovely iron on patches just don’t iron on, which has left me sewing on patch after patch, and replacing sewing machine needles after they break from the thickness of some patches. My youngest daughter just got a sample of this Badge Magic....and guess what....it really is Magic! Voila, I trace, cut peel and attach, and they stick. I have yet to wash the uniforms since I’ve started using Badge Magic, so I cannot speak for washing yet. I’ll update my review if I lose any patches or if they get loose in the washing machine. For now, I’m a happy mom, because I don’t have to watch their uniforms like a hawk waiting for patches to fall off, nor do I have to drag out my sewing machine every time they earn a new one. I also think the price is very reasonable, a $10 sheet saves me HOURS of time & frustration!

I bought these after hearing about them from a friend. I backpack a lot for fun, and one of the ways I like to commemorate my travels is by getting a patch of the flag from the country I went to. I was able to quickly and painlessly stick these patches onto my backpack (Nylon). They seem secure even after going through rain and rough terrain. I would highly recommend it.

Badge Magic isn't cheap, but it's necessary if you have many badges to affix, like I did with my daughter's Brownie (and now Daisy) vest. It takes a little getting used to and a steady hand with the scissors, but once you have it down Badge Magic will make you wish you had discovered it sooner. It basically affixes badges to clothing without the need for ironing or sewing, two things I dislike doing. So far I've found that the Brownie vest and all its badges wash up quite well in the laundry, and none of the badges have dislodged. This is a must have for the parent who can't sew and for badges that claim to be iron on but are clearly not. Badge Magic definitely has been a major time saver for me.

I'll admit to being a hair skeptical about this product. Considering the alternative was a custom stitch job, and the only place that would do it in town wanted $175 (one patch each on two carry-on's and a check bag), this was worth taking a chance. It works like a charm, and the patches are held on just perfect. The backing is VERY tacky, and you really need to take care when trying to get everything set just right to apply. The trickiest is flipping any overlap back under the patch. It's not difficult per say, but being so tacky it can get interesting. To avoid, if you're using the Cut to Fit, do your tracing as it says in the directions. be sure to keep tight to the patch, and when cutting make sure you are on your line. Giving it a little extra will definitely put you with some hanging over, and then you're in for the sticky dance as you try to get it back behind.

After years of hoarding patches with hopes of putting them on my backpack, I found Badge Magic and had them mounted in less than 30 minutes. I had originally tried to sew them on, but the double layered backpack with internal zippered pockets made it almost impossible. Not wanting to use glue, I ordered a piece of Badge Magic and gave it a try. The badges are secured quite well, but if you forcefully try to peel them off, they will peel. It does take considerable effort, so I have confidence they won't peel off from daily use. To install, just trace the badge on the paper and cut it out. The paper printed side can be difficult to get your fingernail under to start peeling it off. Once you have one side removed, line it up and press it firmly onto the back of the patch, then remove the remaining side and very firmly press it onto the surface. Work it over with your hands, pushing down on all areas of the patch. You can probably get about 12 standard sized patches out of one sheet.

Very useful for scouts who do not want to take the time to sew their badges and patches on their uniforms!! Super easy to use. I have used Badge Magic on my daughter's vest for almost a year with no issues - the badges stay firmly in place (make sure you push down the edges on the fabric, or it will look "loose"). Only advice I have is to make absolutely SURE of where you want to place an item...once you've removed the backing and pushed against the fabric in any sort of capacity, you can NOT re-position the badge easily. I've also used this product to attach patches to my canvas bag with ease. Works perfectly.

I bought this on my sister's recommendation for our kids Awana badges. So far I really like it. It's easy to cut, easy to place and easy to stick. I haven't washed the vests yet, but they have been through several weeks of Awana "abuse" and still look great! I was able to put the HangGlider emblem and a cubbies patch on Wednesday night in about 5 minutes before they left, so I call that a win! I will update upon washing. I bought some for my Sister-In-Law who has been sewing them on too. Pros: Super simple Sticks well Looks nice Wash well, at least on delicate cycle Cons: If you really like sewing your badges on, they might not have the same look. UPDATE: I washed our vests last night on the delicate cycle in the washer and the badges are still holding tightly so far. Will continue to update as time goes on.

Works well. Read directions carefully! These are NOT iron-on. Strong adhesive and then toss in dryer to "seal." Also this one does not have the pre-outlined shapes, but its easy enough to just trace around your patches. Highly recommend by everyone I know involved in scouts. Don't be a scout mom without 'em!

Whoever invented badge magic is a genius, and I am eternally grateful. Super easy to use, and works well. I first tried this product two years ago, and those initial badges are still holding tight, right where I put them. Adding badges is now fast and easy, which I greatly appreciate on those days when I forget to add a badge until right before my daughter's next meeting. (Which, let's be honest, is every time she gets a new badge...) Seriously, this stuff is magic.
