Works just fine
It's vet wrap. Self adhesive quality is very good. I'm wrapping my dog's carpal pads on her front legs when we play fetch so she stops tearing chunks off them when sliding to a stop. A few layers around her leg just above her foot keeps her pads protected and gives her the ability to play and fetch as long as she wants without getting bloody. My dog doesn't chew on things I put on her so I can't say how well they'd hold up to a determined pup.

Many uses, good price.
Works as well as tape for humans & there's a nice selection of colors. If you are planning surgery & will be expected to change your own bandages daily, this is a great item to have around. Also great for emergency kits, and--wow--PETS!

And it's comfortable and non-invasive
My daughter is T1 diabetic. We use this to wrap the Dexcom sensor on her arm when swimming. Keeps it in place perfectly while transferring data to the CGM. And it's comfortable and non-invasive. Highly recommend.

Sore Dog Paws
Wrap works as advertised but sometimes must be supported with dog booties. We first used this wrap for retaining a gauze bandage on damaged front paws of a large Labrador female dog. It worked fine until she figured out that her "nipper" front teeth could remove the tape which she did and immediately swallowed the bandage ... (it was vomited back about three days later). We then added Lonsuneer Dog Boots Breathable and Protect Paws with Soft Nonslip Soles Black Color Size M L Xl (Large - Inner Sole Width 2.83 Inch) and she is improving but keeping the wound area dry is still a battle. I recommend this tape and supplier.

A must have for large parrot projects.
I use these to increase the grip on perches I make for my macaws. Works great, even on their shower perches.

I like this brightly-colored self-adhering wrap better for my dog -- thinner and more flexible than human first aid wrap
I've always kept at least one roll of the NexCare self-stick first aid wrap on hand since it's so useful for family injuries. But, this past Christmas, our large German Shepherd developed an abscess on his foot that required an emergency vet visit on Christmas Day. They sent him home with the cleaned-out abscess plugged and wrapped with sterile cotton and gauze and then lots of the canine "No-Chew" veterinary self-stick wrap as the last layer. Oddly, what I found was that my dog was attracted to the bitter taste that the No-Chew wrap uses to prevent chewing and I couldn't get him to stop licking it. So, instead, I was buying roll after roll of the white first-aid wrap at my local pharmacies in order to change out his dressings. I eventually switched to this self-stick wrap by Prairie Horse Supply and I like it much better for the pooch. It's similar in price, but I found it to be less thick and more flexible than the NexCare first aid wrap and, therefore, easier to wrap around a dog's foot and leg. While my dog doesn't really care what color his foot/leg are wrapped in, I like having the bright colors to choose from rather than the white that stops being white once my dog has gone outside for a few minutes. As with any self-adhering tape, this doesn't stick to your skin or clothing -- only to itself -- so there's no ouchy peeling off of adhesive bandaging. But that also means that, when wrapping, you need to start with a long enough piece so that it has sufficient 'already wrapped' tape to stick to. You get 5 yards on the roll (which seems like a lot, but you use it up quickly).

Vet tech approved!
I purchased a roll of this to wrap the perches on our conures' cage and play stand to give more grip and a softer surface for their feet. I actually re-purchased to have extra on hand. The black doesn't show the marks from their blueberry massacres quite so much. The product is soft, has a nice spongy texture for a vet wrap and is easily hand torn. In the light mine had a light and subtle sparkle to it initially but I didn't see glitter; I simply thought that was kinda cool. It's pretty much everything you want in a vet wrap. Knowing about what vet wrap cost from the suppliers I've worked with, shipping and that single rolls in colors like black can cost slightly more and are hard to find in a bulk/combo pack, this product I felt was priced very reasonably.

Great for kids too!!
Great for kids!! My 4yr old hates bandaids & on her recent bad knee scrape I was tired of having the we need to take off the bandaid & clean it / it hurts crying ....bought non stick gause pads apply neosporen & vet wrap it on!!! Bought in pink & sparkle purple in different widths -problem solved!!! She LOVES it!!! Plus now if my horse or dogs get hurt I have plenty of options! ;)

... vetenarian supply for wrapping horses’ legs but it is super versatile in all sorts of trauma applications
This product may have started out as a vetenarian supply for wrapping horses’ legs but it is super versatile in all sorts of trauma applications. Great substitute for ace bandage, pressure bandage, ankle/wrists/knee/elbow brace and more. Had a deep abrasion on my arm from falling into a tree. Messy, bloody, large area wound that would be difficult to bandage. A couple of 4x4 gauge pads and the vet wrap sealed it and applied pressure to control bleeding. Need to stabilize an IV line, or Foley catheter use this stuff. Much more secure than tape and easier on your skin if you use pre-wrap. I carry plenty of this cohesive wrap in my first a bag. It’s just so useful in the field.

No Medical Kit Is Complete With Out It!
Best Tape for animal and people wound care! I wrap this around gauze and it stays in place without the need for medical tape. I can now take better care for my dog's paw wound without having to use a cone around his neck, or buying those expensive paw bandages. I have been using vet tape for years and it is a golden invention that is a medical box must-have! This tape is stretchy, breathable, easy to apply and holds cotton balls or gauze in place. I never have to wrap tightly and at the end of wrapping, I just press the seam and it sticks completely. There are now different colors on the market, which kids love. Try this! I guarantee that you will love this tape!
