This seal is great! I put an old (really old - straight sided) cap on my newer curved sided Ford F250 with a long bed. There was enough length with a little left over, and it was thick enough to seal everything well and even raise the whole cap a little (which I needed to get the lift gate to work well with my newer tail gate)

Made in USA -woohoo! Awesome product, super thick (about 1/4 w/ 300lbs shell w/ gear on the roof). This rubber is built to last... no doubt, will last as long as my shell is on the truck. I've hammered my truck on a few outback style offroad trips and the cushion between the shell and my truck is amazing. Great job to Extruded Solutions. It is totally worth the premium for this American made product. I bought several of their other sealers... affordable and good stuff.

The cap seal I've been wishing for. Superior to the thin foam tape that the body repair shop used on my truck. Definitely made for heavy tops. Unlike the thin foam tape that couldn't keep the heavy Gemtop from rubbing against the top of the truck bed, causing damage to the paint, and formation of rust. Thanks for this awesome cap seal.

Keeping everything dry after 6 months of rain and snow. Bought cap used. Peeled off old stuff. And used this. No leaks.

I used it to make a seal on a very old aluminum cap which sits on my very old '93 Dodge Ram. No leakage at all. The material handles, cuts, and adheres easily.

Exactly as advertised! Based on some reviews I was leary about the adhesive backing. Worked great for me. Just follow the instructions and clean the mounting surface of your cap. I used more alcohol than provided and initial tack was better than expected. I also used some lumber and several clamps to really press the seal against my cap prior to installing on my truck. Maybe that was overkill but like I said, I was leary based on some prior reviews.

Working great, easy to install

I love this seal, very nice quality, easy to cut, does not rip.

Worked perfect, Will never use that cheap foam strip again!
