This product is as described on the Amazon site. However you actually have to see and use the product to appreciate it's uniqueness. The contour of the glass makes it very comfortable while holding. The inside wall holding hot liquids keep the liquids hot longer than a coffee cup while the outside wall stays cool to the touch. On the opposite side - with the inside wall holding cold liquids the outer wall keeps my hands from getting cold and away from any condensation. I love this product. I use it with my Tassimo Brewer for making different coffees, cappuccinos, etc. I also use it for iced tea. (My husband uses it for his mixed drinks on ice. He likes the fact that there is no condensation on the outside of the glass) I would most DEFINITELY recommend this product to anyone for any type of drink they prefer. Serafino Double Wall 12 oz Beverage & Coffee Glasses - Set of 4 Insulated Drinking Glasses

These are excellent insulated beverage glasses. The indent in the drinking glass helps you get a good grip and looks good. I like my drinks to be ice cold and I started using insulated glass drinking glasses years ago. . All of my original glasses are gone. They worked well but were made of very thin glass that broke too easily. Just adding ice cubes would break them. These glasses feel very sturdy and I don't worry about them breaking when ice cubes are dropped in them. break them. Update: I've had these glasses over six months and they get a lot of use and so far none have broken. I just bought another set that I gave away as a Christmas present.

I cannot say enough good about these glasses. Ozeri company has again shown themselves to be first rate. I have used the glasses every day for three weeks now. I drop ice from the icemaker in them in the evening...no damage. I put hot coffee in them...no damage. I put cold coffee or water in them, and put them in the microwave, and in one minute I have hot coffee or water...no damage. I have always used can or glass cover for cold liquids, because I do not care to grab a very cold (and usually wet) glass or can. Now I can pour the liquid into the Ozeri Serafino glass and have a hot or cold drink and have dry and comfortable fingers. Besides that, the coffee stays hotter for a longer time than in a coffee mug. The size is just right for a normal serving. Oh yes, I usually wash the glasses by hand, because I plan on using then again soon, but I have also put them in the dishwasher...no damage. I have several sets of the Ozeri Glasses in different sizes, and use them often. If I get careless, and break a glass, I will recommend to myself the I just go out and order another one. If you like beverages out of a glass, I'll make the same recommendation to you.

I have had a set of these glasses for 3 weeks now, and have been very happy with them. I did my research on double-walled glasses, and decided to get these based on customer reviews of these and similar products in Amazon. I'm happy I got these. They are sturdy, attractive, and do the job of keeping drinks cold. Unlike other double-walled beverage containers, the glass feels nice to drink from, and doesn't add a plastic or metallic taste. Also, the design is ergonomic, and feels nice to hold. The glass feels rugged and thick, but the rim isn't too thick to make drinking difficult. They hold ice a long time, and never sweat. Only two drawbacks--they are a little top-heavy (but not tipsy), and they only barely hold a full 12 ounces. Filled to about a half inch below the rim as shown in the product picture, they only hold 10-11 ounces (the size of a large coffee mug), and hold 12 ounces only when filled right to the brim. Fill the glass with ice (as in the left-hand picture), and you only end up with about 6 ounces of drinkable liquid. However, neither of these are drawbacks in craftsmanship or quality as far as I can tell--only slight disappointments for me as a consumer. I do wish they made these in a 16 or 18 oz size, which I could use for dinner glasses, or fill with a whole can of soda or bottle of beer. As a PS, unfortunately these proved to be too tipsy and fragile for the long haul. We lost both of them within the year.

I bought this set in Sept 2015. I have 2 remaining. I am a long-time user of double walled glassware. Love love love these. The indentation makes them easy to hold. They are durable and I put them in the dishwasher and microwave. However, they are a bit delicate. The only real caution I have is don’t shoot ice into the empty glass from the ice maker. The ice will break the glass. When a glass does break (usually because I knocked it over), the glass shatters like a light bulb, but in pretty large pieces. I’m sad that I can’t order replacements today. Hopefully, they will restock soon.

I have been so pleased with my first set of 8-oz Moderna Artisan glasses, that I have ordered several sets over the past couple of years as gifts. This includes a set of 2-oz. shot glasses for a brother-in-law. Everyone has loved their double-walled glasses made by Ozeri. I now prefer them for hot tea since they heat up more quickly and the beverage remains hot much longer. With the blazing heat of summer approaching, and company, I recently decided to buy the taller 12-oz. Serafino Double-Wall glasses. Already, they are our new favorites because of the larger capacity and practical, and aesthetically pleasing, indentation for holding. They do not sweat when filled with icy cold drinks; and whether hot or cold beverages are within, they are comfortable to hold. After gardening outside for a considerable time last weekend, the water left in my glass still was nice and cool. The glasses are light-weight, yet quite elegant. I will be hosting several events at our home this summer from a wedding celebration and a graduation party to card games for my husband and his tennis buddies to parties for university colleagues and students. I look forward to using my Serafino glasses for all of these diverse events. I associate Ozeri with quality products.

I love mine. I use them daily as I drink at least 5 - 6 cups of tea if not more. I started with 4 x12oz glasses exactly 4 years ago. I just broke the 3rd one yesterday as I accidentally tripped it over. The previous 2 also broke accidentally. They are fragile but I've broken regular drinking glasses or other dish-ware throughout the years that weren't borosilicate. Just saying. Stuff can break regardless. I just reordered another set of 4 but since there was no Amazon fulfillment option I ended up ordering somewhere else. I've never had any issues with water or condensation trapped inside the inner wall. The wraparound contour really helps with the grip. It does keep my beverages warmer compared to any of my single wall drinking cups. Overall I'm very satisfied and I'll keep buying the same set over and over again.

Not all double wall glasses are created equal, and these seem to be of a higher quality judging from prior reviews. They do require special handling to avoid breakage. I had a couple Bodum glasses which felt thicker and more durable, and, ahem, my mother eventually broke them anyway. The only way I'd stir something in a double walled glass is *gently and with a plastic spoon*. I rarely use my dishwasher but hand washing with a soft sponge brush such as this is essential.Durable Sponge Cleaning Brush Cup Bottle Bottom Scrubber Kitchen Cleaner Tool for Tea Glass Chinaware Porcelain Coffee Stains 3 Pcs I think the reason some people complain about "explosive" breakage with other brands is because of the partial vacuum some have. It tremendously improves the insulative properties, but the pop of air rushing *inward* startles people when they break, and I suspect the vacuum actually makes the glassware *more* fragile. These Ozeri glasses don't seem to have much pressure differential, but they definitely have a hard seal, as opposed to a silicone plug. They don't keep drinks hot or cold for a significantly longer period, but they don't sweat or get too hot to handle. I'm looking for a good set of double wall glassware to use in a hot, humid climate, which won't sweat, and will keep ice for hours. These might fit the bill with some modification. I'm thinking of drilling out the seal on the bottom, putting a dab of epoxy over the hole, and setting the glass upside down in a foodsaver canister and pulling a vacuum. The air should leave the cavity in the glass and bubble out through the epoxy, which should then settle over the hole and harden. Once cured the vacuum can be released, and the glass should function more like a thermos bottle. I'll definitely post my results when I do this. ***Some glasses arrive, contrary to the description and photos, with a big ugly logo enameled on the walls. This is a despicably deceptive practice and one should scour the product's reviews to look for this before buying. I'm happy to report that these glasses only have a small white logo on the bottom. (Also, sometimes the seal 'nipple' is big and prominently visible near the glass's base, This glass's seal is small and unobtrusively centered at the bottom.)***

The product photo just doesn't show how attractive these glasses are! The double wall is convenient and the design offers secure and comfortable handling. The height is perfect and the base helps prevent 'tipping.' Definitely recommend! The glasses are in their own box so they would be a terrific gift choice, too. 20 March 2014: Just a note about these terrific glasses for those that might consider only the negative reviews . . . I've sent these as a 'thank you' gift several times now. I know the recipients well and all the comments were favorable! As with just about anything, there may be a problem. I received an email from the seller asking if I had had any problems and if I had to please let them know . . . this was not a direct follow-up from Amazon. The glasses come with a warrantee and I'm impressed with Ozeri customer care!

I reach for this glass every evening I want an ice-y cold beverage. It absolutely does not sweat...not a drop. I use it on the patio on humid southern nights and not only does it stay dry on the outside, but the drink stays cold! Ice lasts as long as I take to finish my beverage. I have average sized (female) hands and it fits comfortably in my grasp. I love the ergonomic shape, making it so easy to pick up and hold. In cold months I prefer wine in Riedel because of it's light-weight and thin lip. The Serafino has a slightly thicker lip due to the double-layer construction, but I don't find it unappealing because it's so smooth and the glass itself is light-weight. It definitely has the feel of "better" glassware. I did have an incident after nearly a year of use, where I found the inner layer of the glass had separated somehow, just sitting in my cupboard. Sometimes I run them through the dishwasher (they say they are dw safe) and sometimes I just hand wash. I'm not sure which I had done, but something caused this to happen and I guessed it must have been the heat of the cycle, then sitting and cooling down in the cabinet. Who knows. But the main thing is that I contacted Ozeri customer service through email, and they responded THAT DAY. I had a replacement glass, free of charge the next week. Not only do I plan to buy more of these glasses, but I intend to give them as gifts. I can't imagine anyone wouldn't love this glass. They are a functional work of art.
